Chapter 394: Chapter 291: Transforming into a Torrent, First Battle against a Tier 5 (Part 2)

The Coral Giant, now back to a height of one hundred meters, finally broke free of its bonds. Just like Su Ze, its strength grew with its size. More Coral Insects continuously flew out of the sea to merge with its body.

Its strength now immense, the Coral Giant charged frantically toward Su Ze. But Su Ze refused to meet it head-on, dodging its attacks relentlessly...

Once the Coral Giant had grown to a height of one hundred and fifty meters, he felt the time was right. The "ultimate punch" he had been building up was finally unleashed!

This "ultimate punch" truly was Su Ze’s most powerful attack to date.

It combined three major skills into one: "Needle Strike," Impact Cannon (or Electric Current Cannon), and Furious Waves. In fact, it could be considered a fusion of four skills, as the Electric Current Cannon was a combination of the Impact Cannon and the Thunder God Body.

With the added enhancements from Ant Power and "Expansion," his Bloodthirsty ability was also temporarily boosted.

With all these enhancements stacked, the power of this punch was terrifying!

BOOM!

The punch landed, and the Coral Giant’s body blew apart. Arcs of electricity crackled across its form as it was reduced to countless fragments in a deafening explosion.

Three small, dark figures suddenly shot out from the fiery blast. Su Ze’s Eye of Truth perceived them clearly—they were three Tier Four Coral Insects!

All the Coral Insects below Tier Four had been annihilated by Su Ze’s punch; only these three Tier Four specimens remained alive.

’I can’t believe that Coral Giant had three Tier Four Coral Insects inside it.’

’A single Tier Four Coral Insect is pitifully weak, probably the weakest among all Tier Four Marine Beasts. But their strength lies in their ability to combine. Three Tier Four Coral Insects, plus countless lower-tiered ones, created a Coral Giant whose combat power far surpassed that of an ordinary Tier Four Marine Beast. A typical Saint-level Overlord would be no match for it.’

The three Tier Four Coral Insects were incredibly fast and perfectly coordinated, each fleeing in a different direction.

But Su Ze wasn’t fazed by this tactic. He raised a hand, and with a casual flick, three of his fingers shot off, transforming into three humanoid figures made of water.

This was, in fact, his Clone Skill. But because his current form was so immense, each of the three fingers he detached was as large as three men.

The three watery clones used a Flying Skill to pursue the three Tier Four Coral Insects. After his Flying Skill, Celestial Sea Wings, had been upgraded, their speed was massively boosted.

WHOOSH!

All three clones used their Gravity Chains simultaneously, but each only pulled back a chunk of coral rock.

All three Coral Insects had used the Golden Cicada Shell technique, shedding their exoskeletons—the coral rock—to block the Gravity Chains while their true bodies dove into the sea.

Su Ze let out a cold laugh and commanded his three watery clones to plunge into the ocean. His upgraded Celestial Sea Wings granted him the Water Escape ability. Combined with the inherent speed boost he had underwater in his liquid state, he was now even faster in the water than in the air!

The water was his home turf, after all!

Moments later, the three watery clones broke the surface, each one clutching a struggling Coral Insect.

Separated from the swarm and lacking the protection of their coral shells, the three Coral Insects were already weak. Wounded by Su Ze’s ultimate punch, they were easily captured by his clones.

The three clones merged back into Su Ze’s body. He held the three Coral Insects in his hand and, with a tight squeeze, crushed them into paste.

A vast amount of flesh-and-blood energy surged into him, and Su Ze’s body continued to swell in size!

After dealing with the enormous Coral Giant and the three Tier Four Coral Insects, Su Ze had grown to a height of one hundred meters!

Compared to his initial height of forty meters, his total volume had expanded by far more than 2.5 times. After all, he was scaling up proportionally, not just getting taller but also wider.

As a hundred-meter giant, Su Ze’s combat power had now definitively reached the Supreme level.

But the greatest reward was the golden energy. These Coral Insects were rich in it, and he extracted a massive amount, especially from the three Tier Four specimens.

Su Ze was beginning to form a theory about the origin of this golden energy.

’Generally speaking, higher-tiered Marine Beasts have more golden energy, but it’s not an absolute rule. For instance, even though they were both Tier Four, these Coral Insects clearly had more golden energy than that Tier Four crab I killed earlier.’

’And sometimes, two identical Marine Beasts can have vastly different amounts of golden energy.’

’Also, some rarer Marine Beasts—like those that evolved from more primitive sea creatures, which have a very low probability of evolving in the first place—also tend to have a higher concentration of golden energy.’

’It seems this golden energy isn’t innate to these Marine Beasts, but is produced due to external factors.’

’Perhaps this golden energy is the very cause of the ocean’s mutation?’

’It must be this golden energy that’s causing so many Marine Beasts to grow and evolve at such an unnatural rate.’

Through the perspective of his three watery clones, Su Ze saw countless more Marine Beasts surging ashore from beneath the waves. But he wasn’t bothered by their numbers in the slightest; to him, they were simply an endless supply of resources.

’Whether or not I can fully digest the Golden Bloodline Crystal today will depend on if there are enough of these Marine Beasts.’

’Once I’ve dealt with most of the Marine Beasts on the beach, I’ll venture into the depths. While I’m at it, I’ll trace this beast tide back to its origin. I might be able to find even more golden energy there.’

The situation on the entire Lin Hua Continent was currently unstable. With both internal and external conflicts ready to erupt at any moment, Su Ze felt an urgent need to increase his own power.
