Chapter 387: Chapter 289: Future Situation 3

If that’s true, then the situation is even more chaotic—and completely unpredictable.

The way things are going, the Peninsula Country will most likely be eliminated. Ancient An Country will break away from the Lin Hua Continent and throw its lot in completely with the Filth Earth Organization. Lin Hua Country will fracture, and the other nations will be forced to pick a side.

Luofan Country has close ties to the Evolution Divine Teachings, and their Pope has been taken over by the Nian Race. Therefore, Luofan will most likely side with the "Alien Party." Dongli will definitely join the "Blue Star Party." As for the Great Desert Kingdom and Mu Country, their positions are uncertain.

When that happens, the Lin Hua Continent will become a four-way battlefield between the Alien Party, the Blue Star Party, the Exotic Beasts, and the Filth Earth Organization.

It’s hard to say who will come out on top.

All in all, things aren’t looking good for the "Blue Star Party." 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

"The ’Alien Party’ knows a God-level Exotic Beast is about to appear, yet they aren’t worried?" Su Ze found this strange. ’If a God-level Exotic Beast truly emerges, how will the Nian Race respond? Will they summon powerhouses from their home world to help?’

"Who knows what they’re planning. The way they act, they seem completely dismissive of the Exotic Beasts," Chen Suifeng said.

’But Su Ze knew that in the grand scheme of the universe, Intelligent Races did indeed look down on Exotic Beasts. To the intelligent life-forms out there, Exotic Beast Spiritual Plants were nothing more than tools to aid their own evolution.’

The two of them dropped the subject and moved on to the situation in Mu Country following the death of its King.

"The throne of Mu is hereditary. After the old King died, his eldest son took the crown. But the son clearly didn’t inherit his father’s talent. He’s in his twenties and still at the Pupa Stage. He’s destined to be nothing more than a puppet monarch."

"So who holds the real power in Mu Country now?" Su Ze asked.

"The Grand Inquisitor of Mu Country, Qu Jianbai," Chen Suifeng replied.

"Him... I’m afraid he was threatened and brought under the Nian Race’s control long ago."

Qu Jianbai had previously learned the King of Mu’s secret from Zhao Yuanyi and had gone to report it to Mu Country’s Holy Emissary. But something must have happened, because when he returned, he never spoke of the matter again and even distanced himself from Zhao Yuanyi.

’It looks like Mu Country will end up like Luofan Country, then, and support the ’Alien Party’ in the future.’

Chen Suifeng sat for a little while longer before getting to his feet. "I should be heading back," he said. "Focus on improving your strength. Put everything else on the back burner for now."

Su Ze nodded in agreement.

After seeing Chen Suifeng off, he immediately threw himself back into his training, focusing all his energy on absorbing the Bloodline Crystal within him.

However, the Golden Bloodline Crystal was incredibly difficult to absorb, and making significant progress in a short time was proving to be a challenge.

...

「A week passed in a flash...」

Su Ze had spent the entire week in painstaking cultivation. If it weren’t for the duty of training the new soldiers, he would have gone into seclusion in the spaceship at Miracle Oasis. The accelerated training rooms there would help him absorb the Evolutionary Material much faster.

Throughout the week, Li Yongguan and Ye Jin had been giving him periodic progress reports.

The one thousand new recruits they had selected were now assembled and had already begun their training. Yet Su Ze, the supreme commander of this unit, had yet to make an appearance.

’I should probably show my face today. It’s getting hard to justify not being there,’ Su Ze muttered to himself. He ended his training session and flew toward the military base on the outskirts of Dongping City.

The new recruits were in the middle of training. Su Ze didn’t rush to reveal himself, opting instead to observe them from a distance with his Perception Tentacles.

If nothing else, the morale of these new recruits was excellent. They were all completely focused during their drills.

The one thousand new recruits were divided into three formations. The largest, comprised of about eight hundred soldiers, was training under Li Yongguan’s command.

Although Li Yongguan was young, he carried himself with immense authority. You could already see shades of his father in him.

Meanwhile, Ye Jin was leading two smaller, hundred-man formations. These two hundred soldiers were a special unit that Su Ze had specifically requested.

The formation on the left was the "Electric Grid Soldiers." They were practicing their coordination: the front rank conducted electricity while the rear rank discharged it. Together, they wove crackling electric nets in the air, which linked up and radiated a terrifying power.

The formation on the right was the "Ten Thousand Dao Soldiers," a special squad formed based on Ye Jin’s "All Dao Return to One" philosophy. Of course, these soldiers lacked Ye Jin’s unique skillset. And while the Dongli government was already promoting the "All Dao Return to One" school of thought, not enough time had passed for it to be well-established.

However, each of these soldiers had mastered at least one skill that inflicted a negative status effect. If all one hundred of them swarmed an enemy, even a single touch from each would be enough to completely incapacitate their target.

The "Ten Thousand Dao Soldiers" had relatively low direct damage output. Their main purpose was to act as support, spamming the enemy with debuffs so the main force could move in for the kill.

Unlike Li Yongguan, Ye Jin wasn’t outwardly imposing. In fact, with her serene smile, she seemed quite approachable. Nevertheless, the soldiers carried out her commands with meticulous precision.

You could even sense that the new recruits held Ye Jin in greater awe than they did Li Yongguan.

It all started with the first few troublemakers.

Seeing that Ye Jin seemed easygoing, a few of them didn’t take her orders seriously. In response, Ye Jin pulled the troublemakers aside for a full day of... "corrective education."

After a few days, all the new recruits were completely in line. They would rather get on Li Yongguan’s bad side than dare to cross Ye Jin.

Su Ze observed for a bit longer, quite satisfied with the recruits’ progress. ’Bringing in Li Yongguan and Senior Ye Jin was definitely the right move,’ he thought, feeling increasingly vindicated.

He flew out over the training grounds and slowly descended.

The new recruits noticed Su Ze the moment he appeared. A flicker of excitement shone in their eyes, but not a single one of them moved. Without an order from their instructors, they would remain at their posts even if the sky itself were falling.
