Chapter 692: Chapter 361: Monster Town (Part 3)

Bruno gradually regained his composure.

However, from his still heavily rising and falling chest, it was clear that his hatred for the goblins was gradually intensifying.

"I’m counting on you, Mr. Gauss."

"Please help me find Toga as soon as possible."

"Alright."

"Biological Positioning Skill-Goblin."

With one probe, a few scattered red dots appeared on the "radar".

He squinted slightly.

Knowing that they were most likely local wild goblins, unrelated to this incident.

"They probably went this direction."

Ying spoke.

Her shadows scouted around, quickly discovering the direction the monsters left.

Faint traces of blood remained in the earth.

Fortunately, they arrived in time; a couple of days later, a little rain would have made it much harder to find.

"Let’s go."

No time to waste, Gauss and the others set off immediately following the clue’s direction.

They walked and stopped along the way.

Gauss adjusted constantly using the Biological Positioning Skill.

The scenery around them gradually became more desolate.

At a certain moment, some stones and bricks began to appear in the weed-infested ground.

"Traces of human construction."

Gauss squinted slightly.

At the end of their sight was not a wild goblin nest, but rather a broken ruin.

Half-collapsed stone walls were everywhere, toppled archways, stone paths invaded by vines and moss, faintly suggesting it was once quite a sizable town.

This used to be a human settlement, but should have been destroyed a century or two ago.

After arriving at the suspected target location, Gauss didn’t use the Biological Positioning Skill.

He preferred using it to find and lock onto small creatures, but at the moment it was obviously inappropriate, as he couldn’t completely ensure the camp didn’t have anti-reconnaissance measures.

"I’ll go take a look first."

Ying volunteered.

"Be careful."

Gauss advised.

Though Bruno and the other dwarves were anxious for their companion, they knew there was no need to hurry and could only suppress their restless feelings, waiting on site.

During this time, Gauss took a distant look at the town ruins.

After observing, he indeed spotted several green figures at a few high points.

Uncertain of the size of the internal scale.

They occupied the ruins of a human town, seemingly trying to establish a goblin town on this foundation.

No wonder he hadn’t scanned many goblins along the way, they must have all been gathered in this remote, deserted ruin far from the town.

After waiting quietly for a while.

A shadow quickly flitted over, finally gathering into Ying’s body.

"There are many goblins inside; they have dug a small underground city in the town."

"I haven’t seen your dwarf companion yet; he might be imprisoned."

Ying stated simply.

She didn’t conduct too much reconnaissance inside, as the wandering shadow, though concealed, also had the risk of being discovered.

"This should be the place."

Bruno took a deep breath.

The monster force capable of capturing Toga was certainly not simple.

Nearby monster tribes matching the target should only be here.

"Let’s prepare for action after a combat meeting then," Gauss decided.

According to the clues along the way, it was probably this monster tribe.

Besides, they were already here.

Can he leave such a goblin group secretly developing in the town ruins alone?
