Chapter 58: Grimoire Forbidden Technique

She didn’t reply, still, luxuriated in the afterglow, her body was drenched in sweat as she sprawled helpless on the chair, made a total mess in her skirt, cum stained, her ruffled hair, obscured both eyes.

Even after cumming twice. The aphrodisiac hadn’t died down. My length still stood hard.

But I had succeeded to quell the burning hunger in me while my dick on its own still craved to fuck. I shoved it down burying back into my pants. If this keep going, I might end up having sex with her, giving her what she wants.

The air in the living room reeked like sex. I prepared to take a step to air the room. Maltie clutched my hand. Her grip was weak, not holding me. I jerked away.

"What do you want now?"

She straightened, brushed her hair from her eye.

"We haven’t yet had sex." She reached tugging me back to the chair. "Don’t leave me hanging." She purred.

"Nope, I’m not having sex with you. I already gave you my conditions. Your spy network and information brokers is what I need."

Maltie pried her hand grip from me herself. She rose, straightening her blouse and her skirt.

"I messed my self up." She whined, shifting uncomfortable in her cum stained skirt.

I flung up the windows, allowing the fresh air flood the room. Maltie spotting what I was doing lifted a finger. A tiny wind swirled around her finger. The air around the house whipped, rattling picture hung on the wall or cup thing place around. Then she banished it, expelling the smell out of the house, bestowing the house a refreshing air.

Her affinity is air. She wields elemental magic too.

"You’re welcome."

"I never asked you to."

"Well. Since you’re seeking to seize control of my spies and information brokers, maybe if you reveal me what you need them for, I’ll entertain."

"You not in the shoes to negotiate, Maltie."

"Okay just a round, and I promise, I swear I’ll give you access." She rose, clasped my hand, begging. "I can use a binding curse on myself, if I don’t give you access, then I’ll lose my magic, pls."

My lips opened. I moved to refuse on instinct then my ears pricked. I swallowed the words back. "Wait? You can use binding curse?"

"Yes I can..."

"Isn’t it a forbidden magic?"

She grew nervous, slowly, releasing my hand. She faltered off. "I shouldn’t have said that. How do you know it’s a forbidden magic."

"Lucky guess. Besides a magic which works by inflicting your self with a curse doesn’t seem like normal magic." I concealed the fact I witnessed Amiko use it. The information about goblins I don’t think is public and from Maltie personality she probably peddle information out.

I couldn’t risk telling her.

Maltie answer. I advanced close. "How did you know how to use binding curse. If you don’t speak I’ll conclude you probed into the forbidden vault which you claimed you don’t access to. I suspect the queen wouldn’t pardon you if she discovers out... maybe I could earn a promotion for delivering in a traitor. What do you reckon. Are you prepared to talk now."

"..." Maltie flicked her eyes. "You really starting to irritate me."

"Good to hear."

"...I didn’t open the vault didn’t I explain how the gate mechanism works? You need me, the queen—"

"And Aldric, the late amor of heart house." I interjected finishing the rule. "I still recall. Still you aren’t revealing the truth. If you’re claiming you didn’t master the forbidden magic before the vault was locked it implies you performed it after. So tell how did you learn it?"

Maltie then circled around. She hugged her arms around herself, thinking. She drew a deep breath steadying herself. Something I observed about her her innocent façade mostly crumbles when she agitated. Had witnessed it twice on a roll. Uttered.

"It a book." Maltie gazing out the window.

"A grimoire of forbidden technique. Inside the vault there are artifacts but there was a single grimoire in it which has records of hundreds of forbidden technique. When the vault was being constructed before all forbidden artifacts was placed into the vault. I succeeded to exchange the grimoire with something else and slipped away. Ever since then the vault hasn’t been open and I have succeeded to stay unnoticed."

Maltie then pivoted around, staring into my eyes with seriousness. "I’m telling you this cause I trust you wouldn’t tell anyone including your maiden Quinette or mostly Aria. If the queen discovers out my head would be on a platter served to dogs by tomorrow."

"Where’s the grimoire?"

"I hid it. Only I know where it is."

"A grimoire of forbidden magic." I echoed the words. "In the grimoire is there magic how to construct a domain, a dungeon."

"I suspect so but your blood wouldn’t be able to rival the darkness of the forbidden magic."

"Then how can you use it."

"Construction magic."

I raised an eyebrow. "What that."

"Learning magic demands you to ingest part of the grimoire darkness into your core to be able to cast such, but my magic construct magic enables me to forge anything. That way I can forge the magic without having to absorb the darkness to replicate it."

I gazed at Maltie. I couldn’t grasp what she said at first. It seemed clear and at the same time didn’t which left me bewildered.

Construction magic? But if one wants to conjure ice they channels their mana to forge the magic.

Wait. It clicked.

Mana and affinity core has to match to produce the magic the wielder desired to conjure.

Someone with fire affinity core mana will produce mana suitable to conjure fire related magic.

They can’t try to conjure ice it won’t work.

So for me to be able to use dark magic the grimoire with infest my mana core with dark mana. I rubbed my chin. Hmm.

"Maltie if I understood you correct your magic doesn’t mimic an existing element dwelling in your mana but freely permits you to forge anything you imagine. Am I correct."

She smiled. "You comprehended that faster than I expected. Yes that’s how it works. That way I didn’t need to absorb the darkness sewn into the grimoire to use the magic within it."

"Good." I smacked my hand once. "Get me the grimoire."
