Chapter 195: Chapter 160: Wizard Slayer

The Wizard’s Power was connected to his Spiritual Power.

At that moment, the Master Level Tier Two Wizard could feel the terrifying pressure being exerted on his Protective Force Field with absolute clarity!

The Protective Energy Force Field, which was being forcibly torn apart, erupted with overburdened, deep-blue electrical currents that crackled like lightning in the sky.

As the Wizard’s gaze passed through the fissure in the Protective Force Field and met Reinhardt’s cold, merciless Full Coverage Helmet, his peripheral vision caught sight of the Extraordinary Armament on Reinhardt’s left wrist. His pupils constricted, and he took a terrified step back with his left foot.

The strange, glowing green bracelet emanated an aura like a black hole; whenever his Wizard Perception drew near, the only feedback he received was that of endless darkness.

How could he not be shocked?

He had trained in the Ash Soil Star Zone for six hundred years and encountered countless Extraordinary Knights, but this was the only piece of Extraordinary Armament that had ever filled him with the fear of facing the unknown.

It was as if this thing had been created specifically to counter their Mighty Power.

A Wizard Slayer.

He stared intently at Reinhardt, his thoughts racing like lightning. ’Even though this guy is just a One-star Military Rank rookie, his strength is completely disproportionate to his rank.’

’If I actually fight him, I’ll definitely get tied down and won’t be able to escape...’

The Wizard’s gaze went past Reinhardt. Not far away, two figures were approaching him at extreme speed, and they were both old acquaintances.

Master Level Tier Two Wizard, the conqueror of Vinsidika, the famous Wandering Mage, Akhan of the Spiritual Fire.

Master Level Tier Two Wizard, the Interstellar Pirate and Legendary tomb raider Zakaria, who once had a bounty of two hundred thousand Radiant Gold Coins placed on him by the Old Empire.

In the Ash Soil Star Zone, both of these men were renowned regional powerhouses.

Even an ordinary Four-star Earth Knight serving the Empire would not necessarily be their match. To deal with them, the Empire would need to dispatch at least a Battle Group Commander from an Elite Formation.

As for who he was, that was not important.

What was important was that he had to find a way to get Raphael out of this damned place immediately. He couldn’t leave the slightest opportunity for the Imperial Knight or those two greedy bastards.

Although he was quite strong himself, he wasn’t capable of fending off an attack from three people at once.

At this moment, the Wizard’s Secret Treasure implanted in and connected to his spinal nerves sent a signal to his brain, informing him that the next short-range Space Teleportation was ready.

Without a moment’s hesitation, he gathered the Wizard’s Power in his left hand and unleashed it in a sudden blast. The immense, kinetic-redirecting force was meant to push his body away from Reinhardt, buying him precious time to activate the Wizard’s Secret Treasure.

But having succeeded once, it was far too naive of him to think he could use the same trick on Reinhardt again.

When this Extraordinary Power, which could slightly alter the direction of kinetic energy, struck the Defeated Demon’s absorption shield, it was like a clay ox sinking into the sea—it vanished without a trace.

Immediately after, the barrel of a firearm was shoved right in his face. It was so massive it could be used as a club, an intricate mesh of gears and Mechanical Structures with energy circuits glowing a deep blue, and it had a twenty-millimeter caliber.

The Wizard’s face instantly turned deathly pale.

’This is bad—!’

BANG—!

An Explosive Bomb, packed with compressed Energy from the Power Backpack, slammed viciously into the Wizard’s forehead!

The massive recoil from firing the weapon struck Reinhardt’s shoulder like a Power Hammer. Even with his Earth Knight Level Physique, he still felt significant pressure.

For a Mortal, this terrifying force would have been enough to tear their body apart.

Tafurin was, after all, a Master Level Tier Two Wizard. Although his strength was far from the peak of this Level—not even a third of the way there—a single Explosive Bomb could only interrupt his spellcasting; it couldn’t blow his skull open.

The smoke and dust cleared.

Tafurin’s face was covered in blood, his forehead a mangled mess of flesh. His heart nearly leaped out of his throat, and he broke out in a cold sweat!

’If that weapon’s destructive power had been any greater, I would have been killed instantly!’

Fortunately, that level of power wasn’t enough to blast through his skull, only tear away some flesh. But the terrifying pressure of facing Reinhardt head-on was almost suffocating.

However, the Wizard’s greedy nature compelled him to hold onto the treasure he had acquired. He used his Spiritual Power to firmly lock down Raphael’s mind, preventing him from resisting.

At the same time, he once again tried to activate the Wizard’s Secret Treasure connected to his spine and escape with Raphael.

Suddenly, he discovered with horror that the Wizard’s Power within his body had plunged into some incredibly heavy space, falling completely out of his control. Even his Spiritual Power was being heavily suppressed!

Tafurin snapped his head up.

At some unknown point, the Energy Force Field protecting him had dissipated. A colossal figure emanating a terrifying aura now stood before him.

A left hand, like an iron pincer, violently seized his chin and lifted him high into the air.

The terror in Tafurin’s heart was beyond words. He thrashed about in the air, kicking and punching, but the force of his blows against the heavy Power Armor was weaker than a polishing cloth.

He wanted to curse, wanted to beg for mercy, but with his jaw clamped shut, he couldn’t utter a single word, only managing to produce muffled whimpers from his throat.

At that moment, the two attacking Tier Two Mages suddenly stopped. They discovered that in their Wizard Perception, the area where Reinhardt stood had completely transformed into a terrifying zone resembling a black hole.

Meanwhile, of the other group of attacking Interstellar Pirates, one was executed on the spot by Matthias.

Manon didn’t even need to act. The other two, a pair of Six-star Military Rank Official Knights, saw their Mighty Power and flesh completely melt into two piles of gore upon contact with Agate’s Energy Weapon.

Reinhardt’s Full Coverage Helmet betrayed no emotion. He stared coldly at the Tier Two Mage in his grasp, brutally ripping the Wizard Robe from his body and exposing a mutated form that had undergone extensive alchemical modification.

Then, his right hand reached behind the wizard, grabbing the Wizard’s Secret Treasure that granted him the ability of Space Teleportation.

Tafurin’s eyes were now filled with absolute terror. He shook his head frantically, begging for mercy, pleading for Reinhardt to spare him, but it was all in vain.

As Reinhardt violently tore away the Wizard’s Secret Treasure connected to the man’s spinal nerves,

his spine shattered, nerves snapped, and a torrent of blood gushed out!

The Wizard in Reinhardt’s grip went still, his eyes bulging as a mask of terror and pain froze on his face.

He tossed the Wizard’s corpse to the ground. Raising his right hand, the chains of his Black War Axe rattled—CLANG CLANG—as onlookers watched with twitching eyelids, until the War Axe returned to his grasp.

At that moment, Reinhardt was like an emotionless killing machine. He stomped down, crushing the Wizard’s head to finish him off.

He then turned to stare down the Wandering Mages and Free Knights who were trying to rush past and rob him, his voice low and cruel as he directly confronted Kles’s people.

"Everything here now belongs to the Imperial Administrative Region. You have one minute to leave. Otherwise, you will face the consequences."
