These people rushed up without saying a word. Some beautiful women surrounded Duncan and danced, while others offered fine wine and food, intent on partying with him till dawn.
It was simply an enhanced version of a foreign carnival.
Duncan politely declined and then accelerated through the crowd.
As he passed through a dark alley, he heard faint whispers and moans. When he looked up, he saw on the second floor of the alleyside a mature and charming woman with light purple long hair, curiously observing him. She wore a cat mask on her face and held a delicate whip in her hand. Though it was daytime, candlelight could still be seen beside the window, along with half-transparent drapes hanging down.
"Handsome outsider."
"Want to come up for some fun?"
This alluring woman smiled enigmatically, and after her voice rang out, a head peeked from below her chest. It belonged to a beautiful, dreamy-eyed girl attached to the woman, with fluffy ears quivering, as if a girl from a second dimension, broken and played with, tilting her head to observe Duncan passing by.
A handsome and strong outsider.
The aura about him was clean, pure, unlike the original inhabitants of Bright Water City.
The residents here all carried the scent of revelry.
"Thank you. No need."
Duncan shook his head calmly. As he turned his head, he saw the emblem of the Cat and Goddess of Lust, knowing he had reached the pleasure district of Bright Water City.
The mature and enchanting woman looked slightly disappointed, lazily leaning against the window, her ample fullness like a resting golden cat, she chuckled softly: "Karina - Blazing Lust."
"If ever you plan to seek the ultimate pleasure in the pleasure district."

Duncan nodded calmly, "Alright. Goodbye."
He soon passed through this dark alley. The realm of the Cat and Goddess of Lust occupied only a small area, in the corner of the western city, and once past it, sounds of bustling voices can be heard again, witnessing figures wandering the streets, joyful or dejected, or deliriously ecstatic.

Duncan turned to see a beautiful woman clad in a light golden robe. She was a Prayer, though seeming young, perhaps had died a century or two ago.
A prayer reincarnated will become part of the Divine Country, she was likely a Priest in life.
Duncan looked at the chip she actively offered, knowing the ’plot’ had been triggered, slightly nodded, reaching to accept.
"Today is the day of the Lady of Smiles."
