Chapter 62: 62: New investment idea.

Xu Ming who was sitting by the monitor suddenly widened as he stared at the market data.

"No way."

Several employees looked over.

"What happened?"

Xu Ming pointed at his monitor.

"It’s Titan Manufacturing."

The room immediately became quiet and everyone crowded around.

There they saw what made Xu Ming react, after all, the stock price had surged again.

The company’s valuation had climbed another one hundred million yuan.

Just like that.

For several seconds, nobody spoke.

Then Chen Wei covered his face.

"There goes another million yuan of profit..."

The words sounded particularly painful.

The employees collectively felt their hearts ache.

They had sold barely an hour ago, one hour.

If they had waited a little longer, Autumn Investment would have earned even more.

Li Na leaned back in her chair.

"I don’t even want to look anymore."

Zhao Yue nodded repeatedly.

"You’re right."

The stock chart was becoming physically painful to watch.

Meanwhile, Benny felt an entirely different emotion.

A wave of relief washed through his entire body.

Thank goodness, thank heavens, thank every deity that might ever exist.

If they had delayed selling by another hour...

Benny didn’t even want to think about it.

He would have been completely doomed.

The more he thought about it, the more terrifying it felt.

If Autumn Investment lost five million yuan, he would personally receive fifty million.

But if he wanted fifty million through profit?

He would need fifty billion yuan in profit.

Fifty. Fucking. Billion.

The comparison alone nearly gave him a heart attack.

He had almost missed his chance, fortunately, disaster had been narrowly avoided.

At least this time due to Lucy timely warning.

After calming down slightly, Benny looked toward Lucy.

"So what caused the spike?"

Lucy opened a report and then she read out from it,"Titan Manufacturing released a new product earlier this morning."

"A new product?"

Benny frowned.

Lucy nodded.

"The product is called TitanCore."

Several employees immediately straightened in their seats.

Even though they had already heard about it, the product was still shocking.

Lucy began to explain,"Imagine a factory with a thousand workers."

Benny nodded.

"Normally, the factory owner has no idea what’s happening inside.

He doesn’t know which workers are slacking. He doesn’t know which machines are about to break.

He doesn’t know where materials are being wasted. He doesn’t know where money is leaking away."

Benny nodded again as that sounded normal.

Lucy tapped the report.

"TitanCore solves all of that, it tells the owner everything. Which machine needs maintenance, which production line is inefficient.

Which worker is underperforming and where materials are being wasted and most importantly, where costs can be reduced."

Lucy continued.

"According to the demonstration, a factory that uses TitanCore can reduce operating costs by more than twenty percent."

Benny blinked.

Twenty percent?

That was a lot.

Chen Wei immediately understood.

"If that’s true..."

Lucy nodded.

"If that’s true, every factory owner in the country will want one."

The room became silent and everyone immediately understood.

A twenty percent reduction in costs wasn’t just saving money.

It was making more profit every single day.

For a small factory, it meant survival.

For a large factory, it meant millions.

Lucy continued.

"The company announced that TitanCore will be sold through a subscription model. Customers can’t simply buy it once and be done with it."

She paused briefly before adding,

"They’ll have to pay every year."

The employees collectively sucked in a breath.

Meanwhile, Benny felt that something was wrong.

If TitanCore was really this incredible...

Then why had he never heard of Titan Manufacturing in his previous life?

The thought lingered in his mind, but he couldn’t come up with an answer.

Li Na let out a sigh.

"No wonder the stock exploded."

Xu Ming nodded in agreement.

"The market isn’t valuing Titan Manufacturing as a manufacturing company anymore. It’s valuing them as a technology company."

Suddenly, everything made sense.

The soaring stock price and the flood of new investors.

A technology company and a traditional manufacturer were valued very differently.

If TitanCore truly became an industry standard, then Titan Manufacturing’s future would be difficult to estimate.

Li Na looked toward Benny.

"Boss, should we buy back in?"

As the team’s industry analyst and market researcher, she couldn’t help asking the question.

"The future looks very bright for this one."

Several employees immediately nodded.

Even Chen Wei looked tempted.

From every angle, Titan Manufacturing appeared to have enormous potential.

However, Benny didn’t hesitate.

"No."

The answer came instantly.

Benny calmly continued,

"We’ve already made enough. Let’s focus on finding new projects."

The room fell silent before they all slowly nodded.

It was their boss money, and just simply following his words, they had already locked in millions of yuan in profit.

There was no need to doubt him.

Meanwhile, Benny maintained a composed expression.

Internally, however, his thoughts were very different.

No thank you, young lady.

Benny silently stared at Titan Manufacturing’s stock price that was slowly rising.

Their new product helped factories operate more efficiently, reduced manpower requirements, lowered operating costs, and increased productivity.

The more he thought about it, the more obvious it became that the market was currently obsessed with this direction.

Then a thought suddenly appeared in his mind.

If factories were becoming increasingly automated, what about farming?

Benny frowned slightly as he considered the idea.

Factories could replace workers with machines to reduce costs, but agriculture was different.

Crops still had to be planted, managed, and harvested.

All of that required a tremendous amount of time and effort, and sometimes the harvest didn’t even turn out well.

Some crops would be damaged, while others might spoil entirely.

And they also had to look out for the weather.

The more he thought about it, the more promising the idea sounded.

He could purchase huge plots of land.

Naturally, he intended to choose land that wasn’t particularly fertile and then hire people to work it.

It’s like... it’s a money pit, he thought to himself as a smile involuntarily formed on his face.
