Chapter 828: Chapter 711: Voldemort’s Wrath (Part 3)

So whether it’s for the team or to make things easier for myself, it’s better to hand over the captain position to someone else.

Kael guessed the new captain would either be Will or Grace, with the latter being more likely. That girl, like Cedric, is a Quidditch fanatic, and her enthusiasm for Quidditch even surpasses her grades.

Let’s put it this way, if the N.E.W.T. exam and a Quidditch match were on the same day, she’d definitely skip the exam without hesitation.

As for the Head Boy, forget it... Kael even pushed Prefect duties onto Cedric.

Dumbledore must have been aware of this and didn’t send over the badge.

Kael not getting the Head Boy and Quidditch Captain positions was a moderate topic at No. 12 Grimmauld Place, discussed by everyone for a whole day.

However, Fred and George were not surprised when they heard about it.

"Kael can walk sideways in the Ministry of Magic, why care about a Head Boy position?" Fred said nonchalantly.

"Just look at Percy," George said, "he’s the Head Boy but still has to listen to Kael now."

Even though Percy apologized and was forgiven by the Weasleys, Fred and George never gave him a friendly face, pretending not to see him like a stranger when they encountered him at the Ministry of Magic.

According to them, "Given the stupid things Percy has done, not beating him up is already the biggest restraint we’ve shown."

But anyway, hearing them say that made the others realize.

Indeed, as the youngest Senior Ministerial Assistant in the Ministry of Magic, Kael has been involved in numerous significant decisions, seemingly not needing to be a Head Boy.

So, the topic quickly shifted to the new book list and the courses Harry and the others were choosing.

"Which courses are you planning to take, Harry?" Ron looked at his grade report, "My Defense Against Dark Arts and Charm grades are pretty good, and Transfiguration just meets Professor McGonagall’s requirements."

"These are must-takes." Hermione said beside him, "You wouldn’t think of dropping Transfiguration Class, would you?"

"Of course not, though Professor McGonagall is really strict..." Ron said, then turned his head, "Hermione, why did you choose Potion Class?"

"Naturally, both Magic Potion and Transfiguration Technique are important!" Hermione said without raising her head, "In fact, I wouldn’t drop any class if I can take it."

"I don’t think so," Ron muttered quietly, "Anyway, I’m definitely not taking Snape’s class."

"Me neither." Harry nodded in agreement.

Since first year, he has fantasized about not having to face Snape in the dark underground classroom, and now his wish has come true, so he won’t willingly bring trouble on himself.

"I advise you to reconsider." Kael, chatting with Charlie, looked up at them, "There should be significant changes in this year’s Potion Class. Even if you decide not to pick it now, you’ll eventually add it."

"Can Snape force us to choose his class?" Ron raised his voice incredulously.

"Not Snape, for another reason," Kael said, "But trust me, it surely won’t be wrong."

"Do you know some inside information?" Ron pressed.

But this time Kael didn’t answer him, just calmly continued eating the roasted potatoes in front of him.

"I mean..." Ron’s face fell, glaring at Kael, "Do people who work in the Ministry of Magic hate finishing their sentences?"

"Are you just realizing that now?" Fred couldn’t help but laugh.

"It’s an old tradition in the Magic Realm." George raised an eyebrow.

Ron was even more annoyed, but no one spoke for him, even Mr. Weasley, as if the angrier he got, the happier everyone else at the table was.

After hesitating for a while, Harry still chose to trust Kael and made a mark beside ’Advanced Potion Making’ on the book list.

"Wait, Harry, are you also deciding to take Potion Class?" Ron said in shock, never expecting his strongest ally to defect.

"It’s just buying another book," Harry shrugged, "Anyway, my Potion grade didn’t meet Snape’s requirements, so he certainly won’t let me take the class."

"Isn’t that wasting Galleons?" Ron was even more puzzled.

But seeing Harry already made up his mind, he sighed and made a mark on his book list, muttering to himself, "I must be crazy. I wonder if books I’ve never used can be sold at their original price..."
