Chapter 686: Two Women Shamed Vornak

The space outside Vornak Planet became strangely quiet.

Several Vornak warriors floated in the distance, coughing blood, their armor cracked and their bodies trembling from the damage Iris and Varka had just given them.

Their expressions no longer carried mockery.

Only shock remained.

Varka rolled her shoulders and laughed loudly. "Hahaha! Come on, don’t tell me that’s it. I thought Vornak warriors were supposed to be tough."

Iris wiped the blood from the corner of her lip and clicked her tongue. "They’re tough, but not tough enough."

The bald Vornak warrior’s face turned ugly.

His fists clenched so hard that the bones in his hands made sharp cracking sounds. "You arrogant outsiders..."

Before he could finish speaking, Feron slowly floated forward.

His lazy expression had returned, but the pressure around him was no longer weak.

He looked at the injured Vornak warriors and chuckled. "Heheh. Hey, is this all you’ve got?"

The Vornak warriors glared at him.

Feron pointed lazily toward Iris and Varka. "Even my girls beat you this easily, and they were only warming up."

Varka laughed from the side. "Damn right."

Iris crossed her arms, flames flickering around her shoulders. "If this is all Vornak has, then I’m disappointed."

The bald warrior’s expression became even darker, but this time, he did not immediately charge forward.

He had already seen enough to understand that these two women were monsters.

The lazy young master in front of him did not seem simple either.

Worse than that, the people standing behind them had not even moved yet.

Garion, Dahlia, Arden, Mersha, Valtor, Seira, Loraine, and Erlin were still watching calmly, as if this fight was nothing worth getting excited over.

That silence made the Vornak warriors feel even more pressure.

Feron’s eyes sharpened slightly. "Now, you better return and tell your leader to come here."

His voice remained casual, but the threat inside it was obvious. "Or, if your leader is too busy sitting on his throne and acting important, just send your strongest fighter here."

The surrounding space became colder.

Feron leaned forward slightly, his tone becoming even more annoying. "Either way, stop wasting our time."

The bald Vornak warrior stared at him for several seconds.

His pride screamed at him to fight.

His instincts told him to leave.

In the end, he clenched his teeth so hard his jaw trembled and waved one hand. "Retreat."

The remaining Vornak warriors immediately pulled back, carrying the injured ones with them as they shot back toward the planet.

Garion watched them leave and nodded in satisfaction. "Not bad, Feron."

Feron turned around and shrugged lazily. "What can I say? I learned from the best shameless bastard around."

Garion’s mouth twitched. "Are you talking about me?"

Feron gave him an innocent look. "Who else?"

Garion stared at him for a second before laughing. "Hahaha! Good answer."

For some reason, the others felt that this was not something he should be proud of.

---

The defeated Vornak warriors returned to Vornak Planet in terrible condition.

Several of them were coughing blood, their armor shattered, and their bodies covered in burns, bruises, and broken bones.

The warriors who could still move carried the injured ones back toward the massive black-stone fortress built into the mountain.

The moment they entered the throne hall, the heavy atmosphere inside became even darker.

Lord Vornak sat on his stone throne with both eyes closed, his enormous body unmoving like a mountain. The warriors immediately lowered their heads, not daring to breathe too loudly.

The bald warrior from before stepped forward with a pale face. "Lord Vornak."

Lord Vornak slowly opened his eyes. "What happened?"

The bald warrior clenched his fists, shame filling his face. "We failed."

Several warriors behind him lowered their heads even further.

Lord Vornak did not speak.

That silence was worse than anger.

The bald warrior gritted his teeth and continued, "The outsiders are not ordinary Astral World people. Two women from their group fought us first."

Lord Vornak’s eyes moved slightly. "Two women?"

"Yes." The bald warrior’s expression became ugly. "One used dragon flames. The other fought like a wild beast. Both of them clashed with us directly using their bodies."

A few warriors nearby looked shocked.

They fought Vornak warriors physically?

For the people of Vornak, that was almost insulting.

The bald warrior lowered his head even more. "They beat several of us without using any proper techniques. Their physical strength is abnormal."

The throne hall became completely silent.

Lord Vornak’s fingers slowly tightened around the armrest of his throne.

CRACK!

The black stone armrest cracked under his grip.

The warriors below immediately stiffened.

Lord Vornak’s expression remained calm, but the air around him became terrifyingly heavy. "So that is why you returned like this."

The bald warrior knelt down. "Please punish us."

Lord Vornak slowly stood up from his throne.

RUMBLE!

The entire fortress trembled.

His massive body rose like a dark iron mountain, and brutal pressure swept across the hall. Several weaker warriors nearly dropped to their knees from the weight alone.

Lord Vornak looked toward the sky beyond the fortress ceiling. "They beat my warriors in my own domain."

His voice was low, but every word made the hall shake. "They came here, mocked Vornak, and now they dare ask for my strongest fighter."

A cold, dangerous look finally appeared in his eyes. "Good."

The stone floor cracked beneath his feet as his anger pressed down on the entire throne hall. "They have officially pissed me off."

No one dared to speak.

Lord Vornak walked forward, each step making the fortress tremble beneath him. "I want to see just how strong these outsiders really are."

Lord Vornak stopped near the entrance of the throne hall and looked back at the warriors behind him. "Call the others."

The scarred woman’s eyes sharpened. "All of them?"

Lord Vornak’s dark iron-like body released a heavier pressure, making the cracked floor sink beneath his feet. "Yes."

His voice became colder. "It’s time to show those outsiders what real power looks like."

The warriors immediately lowered their heads. "Yes, Lord Vornak!"

A moment later, dozens of brutal auras erupted from the fortress and shot toward the sky.
