Chapter 684: Welcome to Vornak World

A few days later, the private ship finally arrived near the troublesome Intermediate Grade World.

At least, that was what Garion thought.

He stood near the window with both hands in his pockets, staring at the endless sea of stars outside.

The view looked no different from normal space. There was no giant glowing barrier, no massive world wall, no obvious boundary, and no dramatic cosmic gate blocking their path.

Garion raised an eyebrow. "So, where is it?"

Feron, who was sitting lazily behind him, looked up with mild amusement. "Where is what?"

Garion glanced back at him. "The Intermediate Grade World. Didn’t you say we were arriving soon?"

Feron’s expression turned a little smug. "We already entered it."

Garion paused.

A moment later, he turned around fully. "We have?"

Feron nodded calmly. "Yeah. A few hours ago."

Garion stared at him for a second. "Hah? Since when?"

"I just told you. A few hours ago." Feron leaned back in his seat and tapped the armrest with one finger. "The wall between worlds can’t be seen normally. It’s not like there’s some giant glass dome floating in space."

Garion frowned slightly. "Then how does that work?"

Feron thought for a moment before explaining, "Just think of every world as a block in a giant game of Tetris."

Garion’s expression became strange. "Tetris?"

Feron waved one hand lazily. "Yeah, yeah. Small worlds are small blocks. Bigger worlds are bigger blocks. Low Grade Worlds occupy smaller regions, Intermediate Grade Worlds occupy much larger regions, and High Grade Worlds are massive as hell. Everything fills space in different shapes and sizes."

Garion slowly nodded. "I see."

Feron continued, "A world isn’t only one planet. It’s a whole territory governed by its laws, energy, space, and World Will. Once you pass into that territory, you’ve entered the world."

Garion looked back toward the stars. "Interesting. But how come I didn’t sense the change at all?"

Feron’s lazy attitude returned. "Because we’re still only Star Realm."

Garion raised an eyebrow.

Feron explained, "At our level, we can move through a world’s territory without feeling much resistance, especially if we don’t attack the foundation of the world. The World Will won’t care much about ordinary Star Realm beings entering and leaving."

He paused, then added, "When someone reaches the peak, though, or when someone above the world’s natural limit enters, that’s different. At that point, they can start feeling the resistance. The stronger and more aggressive they are, the clearer that resistance becomes."

Garion rubbed his chin. "I see. So Celestial Realm beings feel it because they exceed this world’s natural ceiling."

"Exactly." Feron nodded.

Garion looked back toward the endless stars outside the window. "Alright, then what’s the name of this world?"

Feron tapped the armrest again. "Its official name is Vornak World."

Garion raised an eyebrow. "Vornak?"

"Yeah." Feron leaned back lazily. "Not exactly a beautiful name, right?"

Garion nodded honestly. "Sounds like a place where everyone punches rocks for breakfast."

Feron laughed. "That’s actually not far off."

Garion turned toward him. "So what kind of world is it?"

Feron’s expression became more serious. "Vornak World is an Intermediate Grade World known for body cultivation. The reason is simple. Their world is harsher than most other worlds of the same grade."

Garion rubbed his chin. "No wonder their bodies are strong."

Feron continued, "Yeah. That’s also why they don’t go down easily, even when they’re poisoned, burned, or hit with other nasty methods."

Garion’s interest grew. "Sounds annoying."

"Very annoying," Feron replied without hesitation. "That’s why Father said they’ve been a headache, and that’s why he sent you here."

Garion nodded. "Okay, okay. Where’s our first target, then?"

Feron pointed toward a planet visible through the ship’s projection screen. "That one. It’s the main and strongest planet in this world, and it’s also called Vornak."

Garion’s eyes lit up. "Okay, then. Let’s go to that planet."

Feron immediately raised one hand. "No. Let’s park the ship here."

Garion looked at him. "Why?"

Feron gave him a flat look. "Because I don’t want my ship to get destroyed. We’re Star Realm beings now. We can move through space ourselves."

He stood up and opened the back hatch of the ship.

Garion sighed. "Fine, fine. Let’s go."

The hatch slowly opened, revealing the endless darkness of space beyond it.

Feron stepped forward first, his lazy expression carrying a hint of excitement.

Garion followed with both hands in his pockets, while the others stood behind them, already feeling the pressure of the world ahead.

Vornak World.

A harsh Intermediate Grade World filled with powerful body cultivators.

For Garion, it sounded less like a problem and more like a damn playground.

---

On Vornak Planet, inside a massive black-stone fortress built into the side of a mountain, a tall man suddenly opened his eyes.

His body was enormous, covered in rough battle scars, and his skin looked as hard as dark iron. Even while sitting on a stone throne, his presence made the air around him feel heavy.

A moment later, the stone floor beneath him trembled slightly.

RUMBLE!

Several warriors standing below immediately lowered their heads.

The man slowly looked toward the sky beyond the fortress ceiling, as if his gaze could pass through stone, clouds, and space itself. "There are intruders."

One of the warriors raised his head. "Lord Vornak?"

The man’s eyes remained calm. "Astral World people again, huh?"

The warriors below exchanged glances.

None of them looked surprised.

This was not the first time people from the Astral Cosmic Civilization had come here.

Most of them either came to threaten Vornak World or negotiate with them, trying to make them submit and join their side.

To the people of Vornak, those visitors were usually just annoying.

Lord Vornak leaned back against his throne and waved one hand lazily. "No need to make a big deal out of it."

A scarred woman with braided black hair stepped forward. "Should we intercept them before they land?"

Lord Vornak’s expression did not change. "Just send some people to handle them like usual."

The warriors immediately understood.
