Chapter 652: God Gym Goes Live

Inside the Black Fang Pirates’ hidden base, the atmosphere was extremely heavy.

The base was built inside a massive hollow asteroid, surrounded by broken ships, floating debris, and dark defensive formations.

In the central command room, Varkas "Black Fang" sat on a large metal chair, his expression becoming uglier with every passing second.

His scarred face twitched as he stared at the empty communication screen in front of him. "What the hell are those people doing?"

Several pirate officers lowered their heads.

No one dared to answer.

Varkas’s fingers tapped against the armrest of his chair.

TAP. TAP. TAP.

"It has already been a week," he said coldly. "A whole damn week, and there’s still no news?"

The room became even quieter.

One pirate swallowed nervously. "Boss... maybe they’re still hiding and waiting for a chance?"

Varkas slowly turned his head toward him.

The pirate immediately shut his mouth.

Varkas’s voice became colder. "Do you think I’m stupid?"

The pirate’s face went pale. "N-No, Boss."

Varkas leaned back in his chair, his expression dark. "Those assassins were not amateurs. If they failed to kill Garion, they should have at least sent a signal back."

His eyes flashed with anger. "But there’s nothing."

The pirate officers exchanged nervous looks.

One of them finally said carefully, "Then... it seems they died."

Varkas’s face instantly twisted. "What?"

The pirate trembled. "I mean... if there’s no signal at all, then maybe they were killed before they could respond."

BANG!

Varkas slammed his fist onto the armrest, crushing part of the metal chair.

"Damn it!"

Dark-red killing intent spread through the command room, making all the pirates stiffen.

Varkas stood up slowly, his massive body releasing the pressure of an Early Star Realm pirate leader. "That bastard Garion."

His voice became low and venomous. "First, he humiliated us with that silver ship. And now even the assassins are gone?"

Varkas gritted his teeth. "I should have destroyed him myself."

At that moment, the door to the command room suddenly opened.

A pirate rushed in with a panicked expression. "Boss!"

Varkas turned his head sharply. "What now?"

The pirate quickly kneeled. "There’s something approaching our base!"

Varkas frowned. "Something?"

"Yes, Boss. It’s not an inanimate object."

The officers looked confused.

Varkas’s eyes narrowed. "Speak clearly."

The pirate swallowed. "It’s not a ship, not a drone, and not a meteor. It’s a living being."

The entire command room went silent.

Varkas’s expression turned strange. "A living being?"

"Yes, Boss."

"How the hell did they find my base?"

The pirate shook his head quickly. "We don’t know. The target suddenly appeared near the outer asteroid zone and is heading straight toward us."

Varkas’s aura became heavier. "How many people?"

The pirate hesitated for a second.

Varkas growled. "Answer me."

"One."

Varkas paused.

Then his expression slowly became colder.

"One person?"

"Yes, Boss. Only one person."

For a moment, Varkas stared at the pirate in silence.

Then he suddenly laughed.

"Hah."

The laugh was low and full of killing intent. "One person dares to approach my Black Fang base?"

The pirate lowered his head even more.

Varkas’s grin became cruel. "Good."

He walked down from his chair, his heavy steps echoing through the command room.

THUD. THUD. THUD.

"I was already in a bad mood."

His eyes burned with violent anger. "Since some idiot came here alone, I’ll take my anger out on him."

One officer quickly asked, "Boss, should we activate the defense cannons?"

Varkas waved his hand. "No need."

He cracked his neck and walked toward the exit.

CRACK!

"I’ll go out myself."

The pirates immediately stepped aside.

Varkas’s killing intent surged as he smiled coldly. "Let’s see what kind of bastard is brave enough to knock on my door."

---

Outside the Black Fang Pirates’ hidden base, Rovak floated alone in open space.

Behind him, far away among the drifting asteroids, Alira’s silver ship remained hidden with its stealth barrier activated.

Inside the ship, Alira adjusted several recording screens while wearing a communication earpiece. "Rovak, can you hear me?"

Rovak touched the earpiece in his ear and grinned. "Yeah, I hear you."

Alira checked the camera angles one by one. "Good. Are you ready?"

Rovak cracked his knuckles.

CRACK! CRACK!

"Ready."

Alira looked at the main screen, then glanced at the livestream interface floating beside her.

"Okay. Three... two... one..."

Her finger pressed the activation button.

"Start."

At the same time, several hidden recording devices around the ship locked onto Rovak from different angles.

Rovak nodded.

Then, following the script Alira directly fed into his earpiece, he began speaking.

Meanwhile, far away at Astral Cosmic Terminal One, Paren sat inside his office with a tired expression.

In front of him was a glowing interface connected to one of the most popular social media platforms in the Astral Cosmic Civilization.

Astral Tube.

Paren had personally created the official God Gym account.

Then, using God Gym’s recent fame after the Newbie Tournament, he pushed the livestream directly into the high-ranking recommendation list.

Within seconds, countless viewers began entering.

[God Gym Official Livestream]

[First Star Realm Customer Test]

[Live Combat Demonstration]

The viewer count began to climb at a terrifying speed.

Ten thousand.

Fifty thousand.

One hundred thousand.

Three hundred thousand.

Across different planets, terminals, faction halls, merchant ships, and training grounds, people started noticing the stream.

"God Gym?"

"Isn’t that the organization that trained Dahlia?"

"They’re livestreaming?"

"What the hell are they showing?"

Inside the Ignis Dragon Clan branch, several dragon elders frowned as they opened the stream.

Inside the Silverian Clan, multiple silver-skinned experts also watched with narrowed eyes.

Even among the Drakhor Race, many warriors received the notification and casually opened it out of curiosity.

But among all the viewers, two people froze the hardest.

Elisa and Slifera.

Rovak’s friends.

At first, both of them had only opened the livestream out of curiosity because they knew Garion, after all.

But the moment Rovak appeared on the screen, both of them went completely silent.

"What the hell is this? Why is Rovak in God Gym’s livestream instead of Garion?"
