Chapter 621: Chapter 640: Good News from Qian Xingxing

Her workout left her drenched in sweat.

Jiang Qiuqiu had originally planned to train until noon and then have lunch with Mrs. Ai’er before heading back. But at eleven, her terminal rang.

It was a call from Qian Xingxing.

Jiang Qiuqiu left the Gravity Room and took the call in the lounge at the end of the hallway.

He had good news to share.

"Qiuqiu, we’ve established our new company!"

Though it might have sounded like a joke, and not much time had passed, Qian Xingxing now truly had his own company.

After his meeting with Jiang Qiuqiu, he did some soul-searching and decided to be more decisive, to take back everything that was rightfully his.

First, he returned to Federation Star. Then, he hired several bodyguards and lawyers to demand that Qian Duoduo turn over all the assets his mother had left him, along with the real estate from his grandfather.

This move was incredibly bold and openly severed all ties with Qian Duoduo.

Hiring lawyers meant one thing: they were heading to court.

Qian Duoduo valued his reputation and the company’s image above all else. So when he saw the lawyers, the bodyguards, and a crowd of independent media reporters, his face went black as coal, and he completely lost his composure.

And so, the two parties began to squabble over all the messy details. Taking advantage of the chaos, Qian Xingxing sold off the 12% stake he held in the Federation Live Broadcast Company, offloading it all in one go to a rival company.

Since the shares were being sold to a sworn enemy, and it was such a large stake, the rival company agreed even though Qian Xingxing asked for a price above market value.

They even signed the contract swiftly.

After receiving the money, Qian Xingxing looked at the string of countless zeros in his account. Then he looked at his father—the man who would also frown, who could also show the expressions of an ordinary person.

Seeing his father occasionally look so powerless during their dispute, he suddenly found a surge of confidence.

’No one is invincible. Besides, I’m much younger than Qian Duoduo. Worst-case scenario... I’ll just wait a hundred years! I’ll outlast him!’

Bolstered by this newfound confidence, he quickly registered a company and brought Meimei and Wanxing back into the fold. The two of them immediately took on the role of HR and began aggressively recruiting from the talent pool.

They recruited for operations, for tech, for streamers—they recruited for everything.

While they handled recruitment, Qian Xingxing went to negotiate for a promising app he’d been eyeing. It wasn’t their first time in contact, and once the purchasing intent was confirmed, Qian Xingxing paid for it outright. Just like that, the live streaming app had a new owner.

And with that, the basic framework of the new company was in place.

The official website was under construction, and the app’s framework was already there. Its stability probably couldn’t match Federation Live’s, but it was usable. They could always find people to optimize it later.

Tech talent was hard to recruit, but with a strong financial push, the company managed to poach a few well-known tech hotshots.

Now, everything was ready. They were just waiting for the right moment for the new company to fire its first shot.

"So that means I can start directing my followers over after my contract is terminated?"

"Exactly." Qian Xingxing, invigorated by his new venture, said, "First, we’ll handle the contract termination lawsuit."

"The contract case should be straightforward, so the termination won’t take too long. Once it’s finalized, you can start directing your followers over. That way, there won’t be any legal disputes."

"What’s the new app called?"

"It was already on the market and had a decent market share, so I didn’t change the name. It’s still called New Star Live, same as before."

It was a strange coincidence that the original app’s name also included the word "Star."

It all felt like a wonderful twist of fate.

Jiang Qiuqiu agreed, saying she’d remember.

"Also, if you’re still at Starry Sky Wander this afternoon, Meimei and I will come find you."

"What for?"

"You need to sign the company’s share agreement," Qian Xingxing said. "We already agreed, Qiuqiu. You and I will each own half."
