Chapter 135: Chapter 135 My skills

With a sudden release, his powerful body slammed heavily against hers.

Alana couldn’t help but let out a soft moan.

The man lowered his head, burying his face in the warm crook of her neck.

“Can you feel it? My skills...”

Alana’s face flushed crimson; she was utterly bashful.

That bastard!

When it came to technique, she was still a long way behind him.

Because she wasn’t as wicked as he was, nor as flirtatious.

She closed her eyes briefly. “You...you win...”

The man chuckled.

“So you’re agreeing to it?”

Alana didn’t say a word, but her slightly puffed-out cheeks seemed to tell the man she wasn’t quite convinced.

Stephan’s thin lips curved slightly as he spoke calmly, “Open your eyes.”

“Why?” Alana instinctively opened her eyes, and the next second, the man suddenly brought his fist toward her face.

She was completely baffled.

The next moment, the man opened his fist, and as if by magic, an exquisite ruby

necklace swayed into her line of sight.

The ruby was teardrop-shaped,

surrounded by tiny diamonds that sparkled brilliantly. The ruby was a rich, vivid cherry red, dazzling and radiant, like a blazing fire, intense and warm.

Just by looking at the color and quality of the ruby, Alana could tell this necklace was worth a fortune.

“This...”

Stephan watched her reaction, his eyes burning with intensity. “This is a gift for

my girlfriend.”

Alana’s breath caught in her throat.

For her?

Stephan fixed his gaze on her and asked earnestly, “Do you like it?”

This was the first time he had put so much thought into a gift for a woman.

He felt that since he was confessing his feelings to a girl, he had to do it properly, with a sense of ceremony.

For example, giving a bouquet of flowers or a gift to show his sincerity about a serious relationship.

He had come across this ruby necklace by chance while on a business trip.

He thought it was beautiful and would suit Alana, perfectly, so he bought it without hesitation.

Buying it to give her as a gift to confess his feelings was just perfect. Alana bit her lip. “The necklace is beautiful.”

“But...it’s too expensive. I can’t accept it.”

“It’s not that expensive.”

It was only a few tens of millions.

“But I’m not worthy of it...”

The necklace was simply too beautiful; she felt she wasn’t worthy of wearing something so exquisite.

Stephan saw the fleeting glimpse of self-doubt in her eyes and couldn’t help but

frown. “Why wouldn’t you be worthy? In my eyes, you’re one of a kind. Nothing in the world can compare to you.”

Alana’s heart fluttered slightly.

As far as she could remember, no one had ever spoken to her like that before.

She had always believed she was someone who could be discarded at will.

A pitiful little thing who could be cast aside at will, what value could she possibly have? Yet here was someone who, standing before her, told her with such seriousness that she was truly one of a kind, that nothing could possibly compare to her.

Alana was deeply moved and said, “Thank you.”

She was thankful towards him for recognizing her worth.

Stephan gazed deeply at her, his voice deep and resonant. “What’s there to thank me for? I was just telling the truth.”

Alana bit her lip, saying nothing.

Stephan observed her reaction, thinking to himself that she must have gone through

something to be so lacking in confidence.

For some reason, a pang of pity flashed through his heart. He wanted to ask her why she thought that about him.

But he was also afraid of dredging up some painful memories for her. He’d wait until she was ready to tell him.

“Here, let me put the necklace on for you.” The man sat up slightly.

Alana felt a chill run through her chest and blurted out, “Don’t...I’m not wearing any clothes...”

Stephan chuckled softly. “Not being dressed doesn’t stop me from putting the necklace on you.”

Alana blushed, at a loss for words.

Yet she couldn’t help but shyly cover her chest with both hands.

Seeing her guarded expression, Stephan snorted with a laugh.

What was there to hide?

Everything, what should be seen and what shouldn’t, he had already seen it all countless times. Not only had he seen it, but he had touched it too!

Was there a single part of her body he hadn’t thoroughly explored?!

Even her chest still bore the imprints of his fingers and teeth.

However, the girl was naturally shy, so Stephan said nothing. He slowly unfastened the necklace, carefully draped it around her slender neck, and gently fastened it.

As if locking her entire being in place.

He curved his lips into a slow smile, his deep eyes fixed on the girl beneath him, who was blushing so fiercely she looked as though she were glowing pink.

With a deadpan expression, he said, “Since you put on the necklace I gave you, I have you firmly in my grasp, and you’ll never be able to escape.”

Alana’s eyelashes fluttered.

At her collarbone, the gemstone pressed against her delicate skin, feeling heavy.

It really felt just as he had said, as if it had locked her entire being in place.

She raised a hand and gently stroked the ruby, feeling its cool, smooth texture.

“Thank you.”

“I don’t want to hear you say thank you.”

Meeting the man’s burning, intense gaze, Alana understood.

Blushing, she gently

lifted her head, leaned in, and pressed her lips against his beautiful, crimson, full lips.

Stephan’s Adam’s apple bobbed as he instantly took control, cupping the back of her head and deepening the kiss...

He kissed her deeply and passionately. It was tender and passionate.

Just like his feelings for her, it was intense and urgent.

At that moment, Alana didn’t want to think about anything else; she let her emotions take over, wrapped her arms around the man’s neck, and responded to him eagerly.

When it was over.

Stephan couldn’t help but bury his face in her chest, holding her tightly with both arms, as if trying to merge her into his very being.

He nuzzled her gently, his voice low and hoarse. “I’m so happy...”

Finally, he had defeated her boyfriend, well ex-boyfriend now, who was always away on a business trip, and taken his place openly.

In that moment, it felt as though he had been waiting for this for a very, very long time. That feeling of truly claiming her as his own was both fulfilling and exhilarating.

It was like winning a battle, a sense of fulfillment bursting through him.

Alana’s small hand involuntarily rested on the man’s soft, dark hair, gently running her

fingers through it as the corners of her mouth turned up.

She was pretty happy, too.

It was a joy that radiated from within.

For the first time, she had bravely taken the first step toward her own heart. To give him, and her, a chance.

No matter how things turned out between them in the end, she would just enjoy the happiness of the moment.

Besides, it was just dating, not marriage.

She never expected marriage from him in the first place.

As it happens, his family had also been arranging a suitable marriage partner for him. So, she just needs to enjoy the process of being in love and be happy for a while.

The ending doesn’t matter right now.

Anyway, it always ended up the same way for her.

Alana and Stephan cuddled in bed for a while before getting up in a hurry.

They brushed their teeth and washed their faces together in the bathroom,a rare moment of tenderness.

Stephan never imagined that a girl would burst into his quiet life like that.

He used to think that since he hadn’t met a girl he liked, it would be just fine to live out his life alone.

Besides, he found women to be quite a hassle. They were always acting up and causing a fuss every other day.

Although he’d never dated anyone himself, his friends would constantly complain to him about how their girlfriends were meddlesome and annoying as soon as they started dating.
