Chapter 33: 33. Who’s Daddy’s Little Girl?
Three days later, Austin’s cheeks could be seen rubbing against the protruding tummy of his beloved wolfkin.
Both of them had been invited by Rowena, and right now they were currently in Rowena’s mansion but hadn’t met with her yet.
But since Rowena was still busy and not ready to meet with them yet, Austin thought now would be the best time to rain kisses on his beautiful wife’s huge belly.
It was a daily routine for him to kiss her tummy at least ten times every morning, so Nora had already gotten used to it by now.
This was why she was smiling as she watched him talk to the baby inside her as though their baby could already see and hear them.
"Who’s daddy’s little girl, huh?"
"Yes, you are."
"Yes, you are."
*Muah...muah....muah...* Austin rained even more kisses before rubbing his cheeks gently against her belly.
Meanwhile, Nora was still smiling as she gently ran her fingers through his brown hair.
But right now her face was red with embarrassment, because usually this was an indoor and private event between the two of them.
Or more precisely, the three of them, with the third being their yet-to-be-born child.
This had always been their daily routine, so it felt a little strange to see Austin doing it in a different setting, especially since she was already used to it back in the workshop where they had been staying for the last five months.
However, Austin wasn’t sharing the same feeling of embarrassment, simply because he was too happy to worry about what anyone else thought of him or his wife.
"Hmm....that’s ten kisses for you, my little one."
"Should daddy give mommy her own kisses too, or should I give you some more?"
"Alright fine, my little pupcake wins."
"Here comes daddy’s new round of kisses."
Austin gently lifted Nora’s shirt to have better access for raining her tummy with kisses, but Nora instantly held his head gently with both hands.
"Hubby.....?"
"Hmm? You want kisses too?"
"No, I mean yes. But not right now. Can’t we do this later?"
"Why?"
"Because there might be others outside right now. Don’t you think we should...?"
"Alright fine, I’ll be placing your kisses and hers on pause for now."
Hearing this, Nora felt a bit more relaxed.
With her heightened sense of hearing and smell, she could definitely sense the presence of the maidservants waiting outside their room and possibly listening to what was going on inside, and that alone was really embarrassing for her.
So it made her really happy to see Austin respecting her wishes.
"Thank you."
"You’re welcome." Austin replied as he gently covered her tummy by placing her shirt back down.
Over the last five months, a lot of things had changed since Austin and Nora had begun dating.
Nora had been training and eating a lot.
She had also been taking good care of her body, so her soft buttocks had gotten a lot bigger over these last few months, along with her thighs and her big juicy melons too.
Of course, this only made her even more attractive, and Austin couldn’t be happier to have such an amazing partner.
His lips instantly widened into a grin as he tried to take his seat, but before he could sit right next to his beautiful wife, a knock on the door suddenly drew both of their attention toward it.
*Knock* *Knock*
The door opened slowly and a maidservant entered before bowing respectfully to both Austin and Nora.
"Sir Austin, the Countess would like to meet with you now." The maidservant addressed him respectfully.
Austin acknowledged her words, then drifted his attention back to Nora.
He swiftly informed her that he would be back soon, and she nodded in understanding.
Seeing this, Austin got up and left the room with the maidservant.
Upon stepping out of the room and trailing behind the maidservant, Austin noticed other beautiful female elves dressed in similar attire.
Yes, they were beautiful, just like every other elven maid in the mansion.
But that wasn’t the most important thing he had noticed, because aside from their beauty, Austin had noticed how every single one of them bowed respectfully whenever they either walked past him or simply noticed his presence, before resuming whatever it was they were doing.
However, Austin couldn’t help but notice how each of them had a smile on their face whenever they greeted him as well.
If they weren’t smiling, they would definitely giggle cutely before minding their own business.
This change in how they treated him made him feel a bit more relaxed and happy, unlike the first time he had arrived at this mansion.
At the time, everyone in the mansion had seen him as someone not worth their time or effort, but now, if he requested anything at all, the maids would be more than happy to provide it.

And so, time passed, and Austin had met up with Rowena in her private study.
The two were currently seated with a small round desk between them, containing green tea.
"I’m sure you must be wondering why I summoned you and Nora here." Rowena stated softly as she grabbed her mug to drink her tea.
"Is it not to discuss the new terms of our contract?"
"Not really. We still have a few more days until our agreement expires, but there’s something that’s been bothering me for quite some time now, and I feel it would be better to let you know how I feel about it."
"And what would that be?"
"I’m sure you can see that Nora will be due any day now, and I don’t need to remind you what position that places you in, especially since you’ve become a hot topic on the lips of many nobles across the kingdom."
"It’s just a rumour among them. I don’t think anyone really believes I am the creator of the potions."
"Yet, they’ve shown eagerness to offer you deals of their own. This is simply not the act of people who believe your involvement in all of this is merely a rumour. By now they should have known the truth, especially since Legolas himself had spotted a few spies and scouts circling around your workstation at night."
Although Austin never intended to hide the fact that the potions were all his idea, the truth remained that what he really cared about more than anything was simply his own peace and quiet.
All he wanted was to live a simple life with his beloved wife and children, and nothing else was more important to him than that.
Of course, he would love to be rich enough to have a house to live in with his family, but aside from riches, Austin cared little about fame.
However, he was still unsure of what Rowena was trying to offer him based on everything she had said so far.
"I understand what you are saying, Countess. So what do you want me to do?"
