Chapter 497: Chapter 497: Ostentatious Show-off
Speaking of Chen Shen, Jiang Baocu had no good feelings.
That guy once teased Li Ye, which led to Li Ye transferring to another class and nearly getting expelled; he also hit Feng Yijin without asking for the reason and almost hit Sheng Tang as well.
His grades were excellent, and he was particularly handsome, plus his usual arrogance always attracted some naive girls to lavish their excessive enthusiasm on him.
I heard that a freshman girl pursued him tirelessly even though she knew he already had a girlfriend.
He was also quite proud of his popularity among girls, maintaining an air of superiority.
Liang Wei was his childhood friend; they had been classmates from elementary school all the way to high school and were very close.

Sheng Tang responded with a casual "Oh."
She put the love letter away, planning to throw it away after school.
She didn’t know Liang Wei well, but after hearing Jiang Baocu’s few words, she instantly felt nothing good about him.
"Why is he suddenly pursuing you?" Jiang Baocu asked, "Doesn’t he know you have conflicts with Chen Shen and Bai Shaolin?"
"Who knows." Sheng Tang replied nonchalantly.
Later, during the lunch break, Sheng Tang, Jiang Baocu, Yan Jinzhi, and the others went to the dining hall. While she was getting her food, someone spoke to her.
"You’re eating so little for lunch? Still dieting? You’re already very skinny." The guy said.
His tone was very friendly.
Sheng Tang examined him. She had seen him once during a class werewolf game; he was from their class.
He was tall, probably on the school’s basketball team, and was wearing a jersey, probably heading straight to practice after lunch.
His skin was a bit dark, high nose bridge, thin lips, fairly handsome, just roughly attractive.
Sheng Tang didn’t recognize him, but she thought to herself, "Could he be Liang Wei?"
While she was thinking this, Jiang Baocu spoke from behind her, "Sheng Tang, go buy three bottles of yogurt. I’ll carry your tray over."
Then, Jiang Baocu said to the guy, "Liang Wei, can you move aside?"
Liang Wei stepped aside a bit.
He was indeed Liang Wei.
Sheng Tang glanced at him; from head to toe, he was not her type.
She handed the tray to Jiang Baocu, went to the side and picked up three bottles of yogurt, then returned to her seat.
They sat together with Yan Jinzhi and some other girls. Jiang Baocu handed the remaining bottle of yogurt to Yan Jinzhi and continued talking to them without mentioning Liang Wei.
On the way back, she finally mentioned it to Sheng Tang.
"How do you feel?"
"I don’t know him." Sheng Tang replied, "No feelings at all."
Jiang Baocu said, "For some reason, I just don’t like him; his look gives me the impression he might lack decency."
Sheng Tang laughed, "You can judge appearances?"
She had no intention of getting too familiar with Liang Wei, so she kept the matter of the love letter to herself, and Jiang Baocu didn’t mention a word.
Unexpectedly, Yan Jinzhi soon found out.
She asked Sheng Tang, "Liang Wei is pursuing you?"
Jiang Baocu was startled, asking for Sheng Tang, "Who told you that?"
"He posted it on his Moments." Yan Jinzhi said.
Then, she handed her phone over.
On Liang Wei’s phone, he posted a photo of Sheng Tang, Jiang Baocu, and others having lunch in the dining hall.
He captioned it: "Saw the girl I have a crush on, my heart almost jumped out."
In the whole photo, there were many people, but only Sheng Tang’s face was in full view.
Quite a few mutual friends commented, even Yan Jinzhi could see them.
"Wow, it’s Sheng Tang!"
"Brother, you’re being aggressive, pursuing Sheng Tang?"
Some girls also commented.
Liang Wei didn’t reply.
"This is..." Jiang Baocu was stunned, "He is too high-key, isn’t he?"
Sheng Tang saw it and frowned slightly.
She thought that boys’ feelings were sensitive and fragile, so she planned not to accept him and not to make it public; even Jiang Baocu kept quiet about it in front of others.
Unexpectedly, Liang Wei seemed to be showing off this matter.
Sheng Tang felt very uncomfortable.
"I don’t know." Sheng Tang said.
Yan Jinzhi saw that both Sheng Tang and Jiang Baocu were unhappy and asked in surprise, "Did I say something wrong?"
"No." Sheng Tang said, "The school officially discourages early romances, he said nothing to me but announced it openly in Moments, isn’t that too pretentious?"
