Sheng Tang accompanied her grandfather for half a month.

The mother regretted it countless times.
Throughout the girl’s long life, the mother often lashed out, even scolding and hitting her, calling her a vixen’s daughter, blaming her for ruining the mother’s life.
Yet the girl was unfazed by it all and grew up to be an optimistic, lively, and even empathetic honor student.
Eventually, the daughter pursued the same career as her mother, becoming a hydro-engineer, frequently traveling around.
As the mother aged, an old friend came to visit after many years, saw the daughter and exclaimed, "She’s too much like you, exactly like the younger you."
The mother’s face was full of tears.
She had spent her life being self-sacrificing, yet despised herself for it.
Finally she realized she hadn’t raised the child as a burden from her deceased husband and his mistress, but had nurtured a talented individual, created a more successful version of herself.
When the daughter won an award, she repeatedly thanked her mother.
She had always known her identity and understood her mother. But what she felt the most was the love and warmth her mother gave her.
Upon finishing the script, Sheng Tang’s eyes were wet with tears, and she remembered herself.
Though there was quite a gap between herself and the girl, she found a sense of resonance.
She felt she could perform well.
Though the story isn’t complex, even somewhat self-sacrificing, it conveys a sincere emotion and explores the group of "single mothers" and celebrates women engineers.

The success of "White Snake" gave Wang Chuiyang a successful commercial film, fulfilling her goals with "White Snake," and she felt very grateful to Sheng Tang.
Her father was once the chairman of the Qinglan Award committee, so Wang Chuiyang knows which projects are likely to win, and which teams excel at promotion.
This "Never Loved You" movie title is actually an ironic "phrase," showcasing the main character’s deep love for her daughter all along.
The "mother" character is played by the famous Qinglan Award-winning actress Li Zhijin.
Mr. Li is a performing artist, very skilled, having won numerous prizes, Qinglan Award judges especially favor her, she’s won the Qinglan Award thrice, once for best supporting actress, twice for best leading actress.
