Chapter 951: I’m Good at Any ‘Fighting Style’

Chapter 951 – I’m Good at Any ’Fighting Style’

Yue stared at him.

The battlefield was silent.

Even the cracked black stone seemed to stop repairing itself for a second, as if the pocket dimension itself had paused to admire the sheer audacity of that defense.

Yue’s long sleeve fluttered in the stale crimson air. One side of her hanfu was scorched. A lock of hair had fallen across her cheek. Her usually serene ancient-dragon composure looked like it had been placed in a furnace, lightly fried, then presented back to her with Lux’s signature stamped on it.

"You..."

Her finger trembled as she pointed at him.

"Y-You!"

Lux looked calm.

Too calm.

That alone made it worse.

Yue inhaled through her nose. "You obeyed the rules and broke the rules at the same time!"

Lux immediately shook his head. "Denied."

"Denied?"

"Yes."

"You cannot deny reality."

"I deny interpretation."

Sira’s voice came from outside the pocket dimension, muffled slightly by the spatial barrier but still loud enough to be a crime against peace.

"He’s doing contract language! Run, Yue!"

Yue’s eye twitched.

Lux looked toward the barrier.

"Sira."

"What? I’m helping her survive."

Yue lowered her hand slowly, her lips pressed into a thin line. She looked at Lux from head to toe. Her jaw tightened.

"Let’s stop the training here. For my sanity."

"Also valid."

Yue sighed, and for a second her entire ancient presence softened into pure mortal frustration. "I need time to process the fact that your combat style includes battlefield seduction constructs."

Lux placed one hand over his chest.

"They are not only seduction constructs."

Yue glared. "They weaken willpower, slow movement, create pressure, and—"

"Fine. We stop here." He rolled one shoulder, stretching slightly, the motion drawing the remaining crimson light across his bare torso in a way that made Sira press both palms harder against the barrier. "But just in case you want to know..."

Lux smiled. "I’m available after this."

Yue stared.

"I can grind levels here on the battlefield," he continued smoothly, "and train in other locations too."

Sira went completely still outside.

Like a predator hearing prey step on dry leaves.

Lux lifted his fingers one by one. "Battlefield. Bed. Bathroom. I’m good at any ’fighting style’."

Yue blinked.

Ancient dragon that she was, her brain interpreted the words through martial tradition first.

Naturally.

"Fighting style?" she repeated slowly. "Like... Dragon-Coiling Palm. Falling Moon Step. White Crane Folding Wing. Nine-River Spear Form. Mountain-Breaking Elbow. Lotus Shadow—"

Lux burst out laughing.

Not mocking.

Not cruel.

Just genuinely delighted.

"Oh no, dear."

Yue stopped.

That word.

It slipped too casually from him, warm with amusement, dangerous because it sounded natural.

Yue’s brows drew together. "What?"

Lux’s grin widened. "I mean different styles."

Sira, outside the battlefield, slowly slid down the barrier like she had been spiritually wounded by anticipation.

Lux began counting again, completely shameless. "Doggy style. Missionary. Spooning. Cow—"

Yue’s face went red.

Not pink.

Red.

A full ancient dragon system failure. "Okay!"

Lux stopped, still smiling.

"I heard enough." Yue pointed sharply at Lux. "Get me out of here."

Lux raised both hands. "As you wish."

His tone was polite.

The kind of polite that made Yue suspect he was absolutely going to remember this forever and bring it up at the worst possible time.

He lowered his hand and muttered, "Cancel."

The ring responded.

[Sovereign Event Horizon Ring: Dominion Release Confirmed]

[Pocket Battlefield Collapsing]

[Spatial Law Field Returning To Normal]

The world cracked.

Not violently.

Elegantly.

The false horizon folded inward. The crimson veins beneath the black stone dimmed. The sky above them shattered into long streaks of dark gold and then unraveled like silk pulled into a ring. Distance snapped back. Pressure vanished. The battlefield dissolved around them in layers, leaving behind only the faint taste of smoke, jade energy, and Lux’s extremely questionable training decisions.

A heartbeat later...

They were back in the living room.

Lux appeared standing near the couch.

Still topless.

Still in torn pants.

Still looking unfairly fine for someone who had trained with an ancient dragon for three hours.

Yue appeared beside him, still dignified despite the dirt, torn hanfu edges, loose hair, and the lingering blush she was trying very hard to murder through sheer willpower.

Sira appeared outside the collapsed boundary exactly where she had been watching, already half-rising from the sofa.

Lux prepared himself.

Because he knew Sira.

The moment the barrier disappeared, she was going to pounce.

There were very few certainties in life. Taxes. Greed. Coffee superiority. Sira pouncing on a shirtless Lux after being forced to watch for three hours without touching.

He braced.

Sira’s eyes gleamed.

Her body tensed.

Then...

"What the hell, Greed!"

The scream came from the other side of the living room.

Not Sira.

Lux turned his head.

Gula stood near the entrance, frozen in place with a tray of sweets in her hands.

The tray looked ridiculous at the moment.

Tiny cakes.

Chocolate-coated fruits.

Cream puffs.

Sugared pastries arranged with Gluttony-level devotion.

And in front of her stood Lux Vaelthorn, half-dressed, battle-lit, hair messy, chest bare, pants torn at the hips, looking like a luxury scandal had escaped from a painting and started ruining household logistics.

Gula stared.

Lux stared back.

Sira froze mid-pounce.

Yue quietly looked away, possibly deciding that if she did not acknowledge any of this, she might regain her composure within the decade.

Lux blinked. "What?"

Gula did not answer immediately.

She looked at him.

Really looked.

Slowly.

From the messy hair.

To his shoulders.

To the defined chest.

To the V-line disappearing beneath torn fabric.

Then back to his face.

Her lollipop was missing.

Which meant something serious had happened.

Finally, she muttered, "You look better than I imagined."

Sira pointed at Gula instantly. "See? See? I told you!"

Lux looked between them. Then placed one hand over his chest with wounded dignity. "I am standing here after a serious cultivation sparring session, and everyone is objectifying me."

Sira smiled. "Yes."

Gula nodded slowly. "Yes."

Yue, traitor that she apparently was becoming, murmured, "Understandably."
