Chapter 25: Avia Monarch

Allen stared at the newest Title he received for completing the quest and couldn’t help but marvel at its effects.

[Title: Avia Monarch

Effects: 1) All flying enemies will have their speed decrease by 10%.

2) All allied flying units have their speed increased by 5%

3) User flying speed increased by 3%

Range: 100 km (Does not affect the 3rd effect.)]

"Alright~"

Allen smiled as he relished seeing the powerful effects of the Title.

’I was initially more excited due to seeing the Stellanet Router listed in the quest rewards. However, this doesn’t fall short in any way.’ He thought.

’Now I have successfully managed to save at least 20000 SP which would otherwise have been spent on the Stellanet Router. Glad that I held off from buying it yesterday.’

"Hmm? Oh yeah, there were other rewards for killing the Hammerclaw. Let’s see."

He looked at the system panel, ignoring the mention of all the Ungraded Zombies, and simply focused on the rewards for slaying the Hammerclaw.

’There it is.’ 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

[Congratulations!

You’ve killed a Grade Three Undead Hammerclaw for the first time!

Reward: i) Water 500 L, ii) 2500 SP, iii) Chicken 50kg, iv) Grenade X10]

’Tonight, I’m eating some deer. Slrrp~’

Allen licked his lips as he thought of it.

As for what type of deer he meant...

The image of three bouncy pairs of flesh appeared in his mind.

’Knock it off. Remember why you came. Focus on the mission.’ Allen shook his head and brought himself out of his own reverie.

"Time to clear up the filth from this place. Hopefully I find some survivors."

He said as he prepared for a bloody fight against the zombies.

’Speaking of bloody... my injuries... what happened to them?’ Allen wondered as he recalled the initial strike the Hammerclaw made against him while he was relishing the feeling of being unstoppable.

He had been minorly injured by that which resulted in minor cuts and a few drops of blood.

However, now that he scanned his own body, he found none of those injuries.

It was as if they didn’t exist in the first place.

The only way someone would be able to tell that he had been injured was if they noticed the small blood stains on his clothes.

While Allen was trying to come up with an answer as to why his injuries had been healed, the System’s voice rang inside his head.

[If you’re wondering why your injuries have all been healed, I can answer you.] The System said, offering to answer his question as if able to read his mind.

Allen didn’t bother with that and decided to ignore it for now and instead focused on what the System said.

"Really? Why didn’t you say anything sooner?" He asked.

[You didn’t ask.]

The System replied.

"Whatever. Just tell me the answer." Allen ordered.

[It’s because of one of the six rewards you received when you awakened The Super Market System.] It answered, voice emotionless as always.

Allen tried to recall which one it was until it struck him as he realized what the System was talking about.

’It’s the fourth reward.’ He recalled, the memory of the fourth reward flashing in his head.

[4. Combat Mastery- Makes you an expert in combat as physical capabilities are enhanced.]

’I just thought it made me stronger and nothing more. But now it seems there’s more than what met my eye that day?’ He was stunned to know that it had more implications than he thought.

He brought out the rewards pane that displayed the six rewards and focused on the fourth one as he read each word with the gaze of a scholar.

’So that’s why...’ An expression of understanding appeared on his face as he inwardly nodded to himself.

[Have you understood?] The System asked.

"Yeah. It’s because of the enhanced physical capabilities right?" He asked, wanting to confirm his thoughts.

[Affirmative.] The System replied.

"..."

Allen went silent as he realized the powers of these rewards.

’So? I basically have Regeneration for minor injuries? This is just... too good.’ A smirk appeared on Allen’s face as he thought of the possible scenarios it might be useful.

’This allows me to be more direct and strong willed against my foes as the need to worry about my injuries slowing me down are now dramatically less.’ He thought.

’What should I call these powers? The Six Rewards?’ He thought, trying to come up with a name for the powers.

’Nope, calling them the Six Rewards sounds quite bland and boring.’ He thought, dismissing the notion.

’Hmm, what else can I call it then?’ He thought, stroking his chin with his arms crossed as he floated in the air.

It wasn’t until six minutes had passed by with him not moving an inch that he finally came up with a suitable name.

’Traits... The Six Traits... yeah, let’s go with that.’ He thought, satisfied with the name.

’Oops, I got distracted again. Well then, time to clean up the mess below.’

Over two hours had passed by with Allen cleaning up most of CD2 of the scourge known as zombies.

He had already killed way more than 14000 zombies and the number was still growing.

It was within Allen’s expectations for there to be more zombies in CD2 compared to Wion, considering one used to be a place for wealthy people of the city while the other was a place anyone could go to at any time.

When he checked the panel that showed his SP balance, he couldn’t help but smile in delight.

Before coming to CD2, he had 51200 SP.

(A/N: I made a mistake in Ch 23. I miscalculated and said it was 48200 SP. I have now fixed it. Thanks for bearing with me.)

Now, after taking into account the 13000 zombies and one Hammerclaw, he had earned...
