"Enough. There is no need to discuss this matter even further," The queen said, putting an end to the discussion. "We have saved her life, and Miss Ruan has saved the lives of the cubs. No one owes anyone anything; anyway, if you use your minds, then you will be able to see that Miss Ruan is bound to cause some splash in the future. It is not foolish to befriend her when we still have time."
Queen Rong was far-sighted and knew that Ruan Chanchan was bound to make it big in the future. Her skills alone were enough to make a name in the beast world. Just look at this kang that she had created; if it were known to the other tribes, they could sell it for a good sum of money. Money that would help them develop their own tribe.

"Why will I sleep so soon, your highness? I did not do anything, and I am not tired. Everyone in the tribe takes care of me and wouldn’t let me do anything other than what I am supposed to do. But what about you? You look terribly tired. If you are feeling tired, then you should go rest for a moment." When Ruan Chanchan saw Rong Xian, she heaved a sigh of relief. Even though this mer was the prince of the tribe, he was the only one she knew in the tribe and could get along with him a little bit. She was quite thankful that he came to talk to her after all; staying in the tribe with no one to talk to was a bit tiresome.
Rong Xian could not help but smile when he heard Ruan Chanchan’s care for him. It was not the first time she had cared about him, but it still made him feel all warm and fluttery. He knew that Ruan Chanchan was a bit different, but he never thought that she was this different. He sucked in a breath and sat down next to him before saying in a low voice, "Tell me, Miss Ruan. Are you going to imprint on Xie Daiyu?"
"Of course." Ruan Chanchan did not think that there was any other choice other than imprinting on Xie Daiyu. The two of them were already together, and she was not the kind of person who would abandon a mer after using him; even if Xie Daiyu would be fine, Ruan Chanchan did not want to leave him. First of all, she felt responsible, and secondly, she did feel something for the mer. Lastly, staying with him was a blessing for her. Xiao Xi told her that Xie Daiyu was the one person who could help her soul stabilise in this world, even though it hadn’t quite latched onto this body properly.
Ruan Chanchan had no intention of dying just yet, so she might as well stay with Xie Daiyu lest she end up getting into trouble that she didn’t want to invite for no reason. Anyway, when she first came to this world, it was Xie Daiyu who helped her. He had taken care of her even when no one did, so how could Ruan Chanchan not respect him even when she slept with him?
When Rong Xian heard her response, he was not happy at all. He knew that he was being unreasonable; after all; he did not even know Ruan Chanchan before Xie Daiyu and she got together. How could he blame her for liking someone?
