Chapter 452: Chapter 452: New Tier Six Magic

HUMMMMM!

A silvery light descended to the ground.

When the light faded, Li Wei emerged from within.

He had returned to the Teleportation Plaza outside the Elemental Tower.

It was already night, and the Teleportation Plaza was nearly deserted.

A Flying Ship Pilot waiting for passengers at the edge of the plaza spotted Li Wei and hurriedly asked, "Need a ride on a Flying Ship? 1 Gold Coin a trip."

"Thank you, but no."

Li Wei simply cast his Object Control Skill and flew toward the Floating City.

Seeing that it was late, Li Wei decided not to disturb Valen’s rest.

He returned directly to the Celestial Realm.

"Eiris, are you asleep?"

Li Wei sent Eiris a message through his Magic Badge.

A moment later, Eiris replied.

"What’s the matter?"

Li Wei: "Do you have a way to contact the Space Tower?"

Eiris: "What for?"

Li Wei: "I left some things at the Space Tower last time. I’d like to ask someone there to help send them over."

Eiris: "No problem. Who are you looking for? I’ll help you get in touch."

Li Wei: "Victor."

Eiris: "The Elder from the Space Tower?"

Li Wei: "Yes."

Eiris was surprised. He hadn’t expected Li Wei to have already established a connection with an Elder from the Space Tower.

After a moment, he collected himself.

Eiris: "I’ll do my best to help you contact him. Milan might not be able to find Elder Victor on her own."

Li Wei: "Just do what you can. If it doesn’t work out, I’ll make a trip to the Space Tower myself."

If possible, he’d naturally prefer to save himself a trip to the Space Tower.

A round trip was extremely expensive.

Even Li Wei would feel the sting.

Eiris: "I’ve contacted Milan for you. She’s probably resting now. We’ll see if she messages back tomorrow morning."

Li Wei: "Alright, thanks."

Eiris: "Don’t mention it."

Early the next morning, Eiris sent a Magic Servant to deliver a Communication Crystal to Li Wei.

The Magic Servant relayed Eiris’s exact words.

"This Communication Crystal is from Victor, for you."

Li Wei accepted the Communication Crystal.

He sent Eiris a message: "Thank you."

He then sat down in his study and activated the Communication Crystal.

The Communication Crystal bloomed with light, and a figure appeared—it was Victor.

Victor looked at Li Wei and asked, "What did you need me for?"

Li Wei said, "When will the Purple Crystal Source Potion be ready?"

Upon hearing this, Victor paused for a moment before replying, "It’ll be ready in a couple of days. I’ll teleport it directly to you then. Keep this Crystal safe so we can contact each other again."

After speaking, he looked at Li Wei again. "You haven’t told anyone about our... arrangement, have you?"

Li Wei replied, "We signed a Magic Contract. Wouldn’t you know if I’d leaked anything?"

Victor chuckled. "It’s best that you haven’t."

"As for the Magic Contract... you and I both know its limitations."

With that, Victor deactivated the Communication Crystal.

Li Wei knew what Victor meant.

The Magic Contract may have bound them, but it wasn’t impossible to break.

Neither of them were ordinary Mages; there were plenty of ways to dissolve a Magic Contract.

After signing the Magic Contract with Victor, Li Wei had looked into numerous ways to unilaterally break it or violate it without suffering the consequences.

There were many methods. They were troublesome, but not without a solution.

The simplest method was to rely on one’s own immense power and simply brute-force through the consequences of breaking the contract.

The contract they signed wasn’t one witnessed by a Divine Spirit, after all.

Therefore, the price for violating it wouldn’t be too steep.

Of course, Li Wei had no intention of breaking the contract himself.

His concern was mainly about Victor breaking it.

It seemed Victor didn’t plan on breaking the contract either, and had even reminded Li Wei to uphold his end.

This put Li Wei’s mind at ease.

He put away the Communication Crystal and glanced at the sky outside.

’In just a few more days, I’ll have the Purple Crystal Source Potion.’

This was one of the reasons Li Wei had returned to the Elemental Tower.

Victor had promised him two vials of Purple Crystal Source Potion.

With those two vials of Purple Crystal Source Potion, his breakthrough to Tier Five was just around the corner.

The second matter was taking the Dragon Blood Tree.

The problem was how to transport it.

Simply uprooting the Dragon Blood Tree would be easy enough.

He could just put it in his Spatial Ring.

But Li Wei wanted to find a way to carry it with him and also be able to cultivate it.

One spell could make Li Wei’s idea a reality.

Mistral’s Magic Cottage.

It was a very special type of Space Magic.

The Magic Goddess Mistral had created this spell in her youth, seeking to fashion a safe haven she could retreat to at a moment’s notice to evade danger.

Unlike ordinary spatial creation spells, the space created by Mistral’s Magic Cottage was exceptionally stable and permanent.

It was not a temporary space.

It was equivalent to a portable little Secret Realm.

As the spell’s creator, however, Mistral did not hoard it for herself.

She selflessly shared it with all Mages, hoping every one of them could have a safe little haven.

However, the spell was incredibly difficult to learn.

It was rated at the peak of Tier Six.

It was only marginally simpler than a Tier Seven or higher Forbidden Curse Technique.

So, even though Mistral was willing to share the "Mistral’s Magic Cottage" spell with everyone, only a very small number of Mages were capable of learning it.

This very spell was recorded in the Elemental Tower’s Saint Villia Library.

Although traditional Mages weren’t particularly fond of the Magic Goddess, they hadn’t stooped to taking advantage of her legacy for their own benefit.

The Mistral’s Magic Cottage spell was free for all to learn.

Although it was technically free, only Tier Six Mages generally had the opportunity to access it.

After all, the spell was not only incredibly difficult to learn but was also stored on the floor dedicated to Tier Six Magic.

It was virtually impossible for anyone below a Tier Six Mage to get to it.

As an important member of the Hall of Truth, a student of the Purple Level Class, and the first-place winner of the exchange tournament between the five top mage towers, Li Wei naturally had the authority to enter the floor where Tier Six Magic was stored.

Li Wei went to the Saint Villia Library to learn his new spell.

’There really aren’t many Tier Six spells.’

He glanced at the surrounding bookshelves, discovering only a handful of Magic Books on them—no more than twenty in total.

Li Wei had a good idea why this was the case.

First, Tier Six Magic was extremely High Level. The higher the level of a spell, the more difficult it is to create, so naturally, there would be fewer of them.

Second, such high-level spells were typically treated as personal property; very few creators would share them so selflessly.

The Tier Six spells available for learning in the Saint Villia Library were either ancient creations from long ago, spells made public by their creators before their death, or those shared by others for a fee.

Only a tiny minority of spells could be learned for free.

Li Wei found the section for learning Mistral’s Magic Cottage.

[Mistral’s Magic Cottage (Tier Six, Entry Level)] 0/1000

With his current abilities, learning this spell would be a real struggle.

But at least there was hope.
