Chapter 296: Exploring the Planet

As for where Arthur went after leaving the lab, it was to the planet where the Domain’s entrance was located.

Naturally, he teleported to the first hall where the Deity realm golems stood guard before leaving through the door. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

The Domain was located in another dimension that had overlapping coordinates with that planet, and since Arthur’s current spatial control was not enough for him to jump dimensions, he had to leave through the door like a normal person.

"Come to think of it, Mum was able to break into the Domain with her bare fists. Would I be able to do that when I get to her level or is Mum just an anomaly?"

The boy pondered to himself and thought about his entire family, realising that none of them conformed to what which was established as ’normal’ and came to a conclusion.

"High-tier deities probably can’t do that normally. Mum’s just an irregular."

Such were the thoughts he was having as he walked out of the domain’s doors, re-emerging at the ruins of the small town in front of it.

His watch beeped and he took a glance at it, seeing that it had been reconnected to the Academy Network and was trying to pinpoint his exact location.

"The Realm Expedition.

It feels like it’s been ages since I got here but it’s only been a few months. Or rather, Just two weeks?"

Seeing that the time that had passed outside was shorter than he expected, Arthur realised the time dilation effect of the Domain was far more than he thought.

"I miss Layla and the others."

He pulled out the pair necklace that Lucifer had given him, one that could allow those wearing them to confirm the vital statuses of the other, and find their location too.

"Linked Echoes; A Cosmic Artifact that belonged to Great-grandma, huh?"

Muttering to himself, he put the necklace on and tossed the other into his subspace, deciding to give it to Layla before pulling out the Nexus Translocator, a teleportation ring that warped the user to a random area when in danger and put it on.

"As much as I feel tempted to use the Cosmic Teleporter, I wouldn’t do it...for now.

Let me just spend a few days exploring this planet before going to where Layla is."

Arthur muttered to himself before kicking off the ground and into the air. Cosmic energy wrapped around his body and he cast an instant acceleration spell, attaining his top speed in an instant and zooming off into the distance.

He had already gotten the coordinates for the planet where Layla and the others were and could go there with the aid of the Cosmic teleporter.

Just that he needed to find an area with high cosmic energy concentration to use it as he didn’t want to touch the energy that it had accumulated and only use that one to traverse to other universes.

So he had to absorb enough to teleport and create a portal to the coordinates where Layla and the rest were.

"This is very useful. Honestly, it’s more useful than Lostvayne for the current me."

As Arthur spoke those words, he felt Lostvayne tremble lightly, right before Celestia’s voice rang out.

[Shut up, hunk of Nullinium. You’re too powerful for master to use you so right now you might as well be useless.]

Once again, Arthur was completely baffled by Celestia’s brazen attitude towards Lostvayne.

’Come to think of it, isn’t Lostvayne supposed to be an Ego weapon?’

[This thing’s Ego can only speak in a sound frequency that can’t be heard by lower existences.]

Celestia answered his inquiry as he moved, citing the reason why although he could perceive the weapon had some sort of will, he could not directly communicate with it.

[When you find my fragments, I’d be stronger than this thing so no need to bother with it. You can just keep it as a decoration.]

The sword kept running her figurative mouth so Arthur ended up shutting her up with threats of no movies while internally wondering how exactly Celestia ’watched’ the movies in the first place.

’Celestia’s real origins are quite vague too...’

At first, both Arthur and Celestia believed that the sword was his Soul Weapon, a materialization of his soul, or in essence, a crystallization of all his energies combined.

However, they both quickly debunked that theory due to the fact that she had fragments of herself scattered in various unknown places.

But even so, it was strange as Arthur could tell that from the very first instant that he summoned Celestial, there was already a contract between both of them.

What’s more, he could indeed sense his energy crystallized energy in Celestia’s make-up, hence the reason why the whole scenario just seemed bizarre to him.

As he was thinking about that he realised he was getting closer to his destination.

The current Intermediate Stage Epic Realm Arthur was capable of easily attaining Supersonic movement speed.

If he used his wings to fly, then he would be somewhere in between Supersonic and Hypersonic speeds.

Even so, Arthur didn’t use his wings now because he didn’t want to draw too extra attention towards his race where he was going. He had even used the concealment ring to make himself look like an Intermediate stage master realm.

One of the reasons why Arthur learned to fly without wings was simply because his wings resembled that of a Leviathan devil’s too much and depending on where he was, it could cause issues.

For starters, races like humans, Elves and other humanoid races in other universes perceived Devils as inherently Evil and would attack without hesitation.

He really didn’t want to get caught up in a stupid situation because some fool somewhere thought he was a devil and tried to attack him.

"It’s kind of stupid though. The Devil race is just like every other race out there. We’ve got the ’good’ ones and the ’bad’ ones.

Yet, some silly races blame the Devils for whatever bad things happened to them simply because of a few bad devils they’ve seen."

The boy sighted lightly as he increased his speed once more, blitzing through the air so fast that he crossed over a thousand metres in just a second.

’I’m still in Supersonic territory.’

Arthur’s speed was naturally higher than average Superior stage Epic realms, courtesy of his sub-cosmic physiology that have him higher overall parameters when compared to other beings in his realm.

In just two hours of flight, he could cover nearly ten thousand kilometres of distance and he could maintain this speed due to his ridiculous energy reserves and the fact that he was mostly using ambient cosmic energy to fly.

Speaking of which, although Devils could use their wings to achieve faster speeds and also aid themselves in combat, their wings also substituted for magic catalysts, happifying the quality and quantity of their energies.

Basically, most Devils didn’t use magic catalysts or magic staves when casting magic because they could simply use their wings as magic catalysts.

For those who still added magic catalysts or staves to the mix like Inglis, it only served to increase the potency of her energy-based attacks and resulted in a very disastrous experience...for her targets, of course.

But despite this, their wings served as very large targets in combat and this was another reason why he learned to fly without them.

When sparring with Hades, the man had always taken advantage of Arthur’s wings to trap him and beat the heck out of him.

This made the boy end up limiting his usage of his wings, however, if it was absolutely necessary, then he would not hesitate to use them.

Him not using them was simply to avoid unnecessary stress, not because he was afraid of using them.

Anyway, the boy flew for one more hour before finally arriving at his destination, the city near where he had met Urdusin and his group a few weeks ago.

"Wait. It’s a few weeks for me but it’s probably only been a few days for him."

Arthur felt adjusting his perception was going to take quite a while as he landed on the ground near the island Lucifer’s Vestige destroyed.

"They haven’t finished moving the Gorilla’s corpse? Oh well, it’s not gonna rot anyway, its body is still brimming with magic power."

Just as Arthur said that he noticed a few people in the area who seemed to be guarding the giant corpse, and a few faces looked familiar.

He flew over to them and naturally, they noticed him, but before any of them could speak Arthur decided to mess with them a little bit, releasing his aura to intimidate them with the law of destruction’s power.

All the guards nearby felt like an invisible force was pressing down on their very existences, while their souls instinctively cried out in alarm upon sensing the threat of the energy of the law of destruction.

What’s more was that the energy was very potent as Arthur wasn’t just using ambient law essence, but was generating it from his body as he had stepped on the path of comprehension.

As such, the threat of destruction they felt was the same as if a transcendent was using the energy of the law to do the same.

Seeing as half of them passed out instantly, Arthur realised he had gone a bit too far with his little prank.

’My comprehension of the law of destruction did increase by nearly 10% so it makes sense it’d be a lot more powerful.

Should have toned it down more.’

Arthur’s little stunt ended up attracting forces from the nearby city, and due to the fact that the energy of a law was sensed, they dispatched a trio of Legendary Realm guard captains.

Following behind them to check on his squad was a familiar face, but upon seeing Arthur, the man’s complexion paled instantly.

While the trio of Legendries were wondering why they could sense the residual law of destruction from a kid who looked to be in the Master realm, Arthur rose his hand and waved at Urdusin with a mischievous grin.

"Yo! Urdusin!

Been a while, hasn’t it?"
