Chapter 208: The fate of the snooping Olympian
|It has been a while, Sir Hades. You should have let me take at least an arm.|

Hades replied to the voice that suddenly spoke, the speaker then walked out of the tear. It was a slightly pudgy man with black hair and brown eyes, wearing the uniform of a military commander adorned with various medals.
He turned his gaze to Dionysus in Hades’ arms and spoke.
|It may be a matter of Olympus, but it is happening in Hell. I believe we deserve a take on this don’t you think, sir Hades?|
Dionysus’ face paled rapidly, he’d rather be caught by Hades than be caught by this man. Although he was subservient to his king, he was ruthless to anyone considered an enemy.
The man whose greed was said to know no end.
As a child born from a mother with the bloodline of gluttony, he had the power of devouring she possessed.
Rumours say he devoured hundreds of celestial deities in the last war Hell had with the celestials.
Of the four Grand Duchies of the Devildom.
The Grand Duke of Greed.
Mammon.

Aurora looked at the unconscious trio in front of her and sighed, she really didn’t know at what point she had turned into a babysitter.
’Reminds me of when Creusery was younger.’
Aurora’s son with Diablo, Creusery, was her pride and joy. When he was younger, she was practically a helicopter parent, always paying very close attention to him in case something went wrong.
She was a woman who paid little or no attention to things or people that were not related to her. She always kept a stoic look on her face and gazed at everyone and everything with disinterested eyes.
However, when she had Creusery, she changed.
She began paying perhaps, a little bit too much attention to everything around her and her son. Always on the lookout for any potential problems and trying to nip them in the bud.
Whenever the young Creusery went out on his ’explorations’, she would secretly follow him and take out anything that was more than he could handle in order to keep him safe.
Sometimes, he would return worn out and exhausted, sometimes passing out and she would watch over him like she was now watching over the trio in front of her.
"You really pop up whenever I think about you, huh?"
She spoke as space attribute magic condensed behind her and formed a portal. From within, a red-haired and-eyed man walked in and hugged Aurora from behind.
"That’s because I know mother’s heart best."
The man, Aurora’s son, Creusery, spoke with a smile on his face. He then gazed at the three unconscious children in front of him and asked.
"What happened to them?"
"Hades showed them a partial version of his true god form, they passed out from the pressure."
"Hmmm..."
Creusery wanted to ask why but decided that it wasn’t anything of his concern. He looked around the spacecraft and asked.
"Where is Hades now then?"
He knew full well about his mother’s aversion towards Hades as such, he was always on guard whenever the latter was around.
It didn’t matter if Hades was his nephew’s father, his mother was more important to him after all.
"He said he was going to deal with a ’pest’ he noticed."
"Pest? Then it’s probably the one Mammon noticed, huh?"
"Mammon?"
"Mammon and I were here for an inspection, we then noticed the construction of some large-scale spell circle and came over to check it out.
Seems my dear nephew is planning something, we left a few officials to supervise and were about to leave when Mammon said his ’greed’ sensed the presence of something it hated so he went to check it out."
Aurora nodded upon hearing Creusery’s explanation, she was not surprised to hear Arthur was planning something that would require a spell circle large enough to warrant Creusery’s attention.
’That law crystal too, just what is this boy planning?’

Mammon stepped out of the tear in space as he spoke while glaring at Dionysus in Hades’ hands.
|Yes, however, anything you do to this idiot would be taken as a declaration of war by my brothers. Let me handle him instead.
Oh and even if he’s my nephew, I won’t be nice.|
Hades’ hand burst into black flames as he spoke, the flames also burned Dionysus as he was being held by Hades, causing him to scream out in pain.
Unfortunately;
|Shut up.|
Hades slammed Dionysus’ body on the ground with enough force to crack the planet. He knew fully well that his flames were ones that dealt no damage to the god’s physical body.
That, however, was not the case for his soul.
For Hades who had killed the high-tier deity Gollmiran with ease a decade ago, dealing with Dionysus who was just a bit stronger was not much of an issue.
Of course, Dionysus tried to resist but Hades just snapped his neck, temporarily killing his physical body.

He then warped out of the area with normal teleportation magic after speaking, leaving Mammon behind.
"Are you really going to let him go, your Majesty?"
Mammon pulled out a small pocket watch and opened it before asking, it had the seal of his Grand Duchy inscribed on it.
It was a communicator that was recently introduced and was given to all of Hell’s main entities, a direct line to Diablo.
[Worry not, I have him in my sights. Carry on with the inspection of the next realm.]
"Yes, your majesty."
Mammon closed the pocket watch and entered into the tear in space after taking one last look at where Hades was standing.
’He didn’t erase the traces of his teleportation even though he could, is he trying to say he has nothing to hide?’
He thought that before scoffing as he entered the tear that slowly closed behind him.

Arthur Layla and Esna woke up three days later just a bit before they arrived back on Kreiz. The training session with Hades and Aurora, alongside the events that occurred afterwards, left the three far more exhausted than they had expected
Hades did not return with them, only leaving a message that he had to deal with a bug he found.
When the three returned to the academy, they spent two more days resting before finally resuming their school activities.
For Arthur, he had his schedule packed up every single day.
He had classes on weekdays, while on weekends and his other days off, he trained with Hades.
Hades taught Arthur a great many things, ranging from cosmic energy manipulation to using the faux true voice that sub-cosmic beings who weren’t deities could use and even cosmic energy teleportation.
The original plan of going over Parmis to use the law crystal core Lewis and his group found in 5 weeks was cancelled and pushed back by another ten weeks!
Furthermore, the long-awaited realm expedition was cancelled!
Arthur was distraught upon finding out that the Academy’s realm expedition for that year was to be cancelled.
There were certain circumstances that the students were not aware of that led to it being cancelled, but Arthur recalled meeting Creusery and Mammon on the spacecraft when he woke up.
They said they were conducting some kind of Realm inspection, and some of the realms to be used for the realm expedition were on the list of those to be inspected.
Connecting the dots, the realm expedition was cancelled simply because the Academy did not wish for the students to get entangled with whatever the cause for the realm inspection was.
Even Arthur was not privy to this information as it was something only Hell’s main entities were in the know of.
As such, Arthur ended up with another free five months as the curriculum for the fourth year, had nothing slated for them to do during that period.
Later on, it was then said that the cancelled realm expedition, would be postponed to the next year, in other words, Arthur would have his chance in his fifth year instead.
Although he did not like the arrangement at first, he thought about it calmly at a later date and realized it was better.
He had little to no idea what to expect in the Varona realm before discovering Lucifer’s ruin, so he decided to take the time to get even stronger than before.
The free time was spent on training, mock battles, and more training.
Hades did his best to teach Arthur all he could about being sub-cosmic in these five months, he even taught him how to use his divinity better as Arthur was just utilizing the energy the same way he did his aura and magic.
During the five months, Arthur learned a lot of magic, aura, and divinity techniques from Hades, he even managed to create a new variation of his extreme nothingness beside the seismic surge, after improving on the seismic surge, that is.
He also postponed his plans to cast the ’Third Magic’ and gave Lewis alongside his group a five-month vacation.
More experiments were conducted with Esna to figure out what other abilities she may possess as a godslayer too.
During this time, he also repaired his relationship with Lute to an extent, the same was the case with Larry as the two had a falling out when the latter returned to Hell.
Arthur also realized the reason Larry wanted him to attend the auction was so that the progenitor drifter can see him.
It was as simple as that!
As an ancient drifter, Larry had already been suspecting that Arthur was a progenitor, the same way Arthur was suspecting that Larry was not a ’high’ Drifter.
He then had Arthur come over to Nemo for the Auction to see the Progenitor Drifter’s reaction when he set eyes upon Arthur and it was as he expected.
Arthur was angry that Larry caused his identity as a progenitor to be discovered by more people he did not know or have any information about, while Larry was angry at Arthur’s mother’s actions, which led to the loss of many drifters’ lives and resources.
