Chapter 194: A little Hint

[My real body is this universe itself, I only take upon a humanoid form to make conversing with my ’Master’s’ easier.]

Hearing her reply, Arthur couldn’t help but think of how convenient that was. He then shifted his thoughts to the matter at hand.

"If that person she came with was the one to tell her I was a progenitor, then how did that person know in the first place?"

[You should already know the answer to that. Think back to the being that you encountered before the start of the Nemo Planet auction.]

’The being I encountered?’

Arthur thought back to all the beings he met that day and it did not take him long to find the answer.

"Ha! I see, so whoever this watcher woman is, she is also a progenitor!

Since progenitors can recognize each other with just a single glance, she was able to do the same to me and she told Alexia."

[It seems you actually use that thing in your head. Now then, you all should scurry along. The rest of your family members are beginning to get worried.]

Hell casually threw shade at Arthur before chasing them out. She then exclaimed as if she remembered something and turned to Arthur.

[The ancient breed giant’s descendant. Tell him to search the Parmis Star system, one of the planets there has what you seek.]

Arthur was about to ask how she even knew what he was looking for but remembered her identity and closed his mouth. Instead, he asked a different question.

"Why can’t you just tell me which planet it is?"

[I have no reason to tell you, you should be grateful I even gave you a hint.]

Hell replied then waved her hands. Cosmic energy swirled around the quartet and they found themselves back in Aurora’s domain, in the same room Arthur spent two months in.

Surrounding them, were the surprised figures of Creusery, Aurora, Inglis, Belphegor, and Conrad.

"Where in hell were the lot of you?!"

Inglis was the first to recover from her surprise and begin scolding them. Aurora just silently grabbed Arthur’s arm and dragged him to the bed in the room.

She waved her hands and flames engulfed the shattered pieces of the cocoon on the floor, turning them to ash immediately.

Next, she flung Arthur atop the bed with minimal effort. Arthur tried to tell her he was fine and needed no further checks but the silent glare she gave him made him swallow his words.

After about an hour of multiple full-body scans and diagnostics, she finally let him go and join Diablo, Cattleya, and Hades who were still being scolded by Inglis.

And like so, Arthur’s awakening and the surrounding controversies came to an end.

◇ ◇ ◇

Arthur’s two-and-a-half-month disappearance caused him to miss a great many things.

The first, was his birthday.

Arthur’s birthday was on the last day of the year, and he had woken up halfway into the first month of the New Year.

He turned 15 while still, his body was still in the cocoon and his mind was busy trying to comprehend the great amount of information he now possessed.

He also learned from Cattleya about what happened before he entered the cocoon, he found out about his magic blooming and how she had sealed his energy with his true name, solving the problem of his energy for the time being.

’The ’time being’ is until I become a deity, even with the third magic, that will take decades, probably a century.’

His inter-spatial ring that contained all the items he bought from the auction, along with his phone and other personal effects, was in Cattleya’s possession and it took a week of begging before he finally got it back.

As soon as he did, he contacted Lewis and asked him to move the entire force over to Parmis and search the star system for a planet with a time-attributed law crystal.

Parmis was a relatively average-sized star system with nine planets in total and of those nine, four were uninhabited.

’These people did not do anything wrong by me so I hope it is on one of those uninhabited planets.’

Another thing he missed was his third-year final exams.

He had been absent from school for the last month of the school year and thus was not present for the exams that were taken either.

In fact, the fourth year was just beginning in a few days and since he had not completed his third year, the chances of him repeating were quite high.

To prevent that, he rushed over to Kreiz and met with a few of the directors, striking a deal with them to let him take his exams and officially enter the fourth year.

Although his results were not as good as before, it did not change the fact that he still passed the exams, and thus, he was saved from the shame of repeating or dropping out.

Upon his return to Aeturn, he was dragged by Cattleya for ’training’ but it was simply her beating him up for his actions that led to the incident where he almost lost his life in the Nemo Galaxy.

As for Lute, he was able to escape punishment, as Cattleya knew fully well that he could not have possibly predicted Arthur’s actions that day nor could he have prevented them.

Even if he was able to subdue the three demigods on time, the presence of ancient drifter Larry was also a deterrent in preventing Arthur from going to Nemo.

Speaking of Larry, upon his return to Aeturn after accompanying the progenitor drifter for a few days, he found out what transpired when he left and was naturally enraged at the result.

After all, Cattleya did destroy all their bases on Aeturn and multiple drifters lost their lives. He officially demanded compensation in various forms from the royal family in regard to Cattleya’s actions.

That matter was handled by Belphegor and Conrad who were more proficient in diplomacy-related matters.

Of course, Diablo did not let Cattleya off easy just like she did to Arthur.

◇ ◇ ◇

"I expected a commotion but this is a bit too much..."

Arthur spoke to himself as he stared at his phone. When someone as high profile as he was, goes off the grid for more than two months, people were bound to ask questions.

Coupled with the fact that he missed his final exams, even more, questions were raised as to where the young prince had vanished to.

"Things would have been much worse if I had decided to quit school."

He sighed and dropped his phone on the table before moving over to take his drink. He was currently alone in one of the fourth-year Class A cafeterias.

Since the academy was set to resume in a few days, and Arthur himself was very much jobless at home, he decided to return to school a bit earlier.

"Besides trying to use cosmic energy and increasing my law comprehensions, there’s nothing much to do."

Upon awakening his full progenitor authority and awakening as a sub-cosmic being, Arthur had seen great boosts to his law comprehension speed.

"I achieved a year’s work in a week, if that isn’t crazy then I don’t know what is."

He also used the law crystal that Diablo retrieved from the celestial, the crystal that caused him to have a target on his back.

Upon utilizing the crystal, he realized that some parts of the crystal’s knowledge were obscure and he could not view even the unorganized, incomprehensible parts.

"But that’s a problem for when I reach that stage. With that, I now have three laws under my belt.

Time, Destruction and Extinction."

A fifteen-year-old superior stage grandmaster who was already comprehending three powerful laws was not something you could find anywhere.

In fact, only a progenitor could achieve such a feat.

Arthur laughed to himself while thinking of this, in his hand, was a small orb of cosmic energy. Right from the time he was inside the cocoon, Arthur had already begun training on how to use cosmic energy inside that dark space with the throne and the grey orb, however, he could not make much progress as he had no one to teach him.

Now he was out, he had made considerable progress in just a few days with Hades’ tutelage. The latter agreed to remain in Hell for an extended period of time, to assist Arthur in learning how to manipulate cosmic energy.

Arthur passed his days like this, training to use cosmic energy, attempting to comprehend laws, and waiting for updates from Lewis.

Gradually, the day of resumption came as the first month of the year came to an end.

Arthur went over to the cafeteria, as usual, ate his meal as usual, and spent time there playing on his phone.

He found something online that caught his attention and he ended up being invested in it. This resulted in him subconsciously ignoring the gazes he was feeling from the returning students who came over to the cafeteria.

Seeing Arthur show up after being missing for months caused a buzz amongst the students and in no time, almost everyone knew the whimsical prince had returned.
