Chapter 7: Chapter 7: Emotional Strategy! Empathy Effect!
Back in his study, Evan lit a cigarette and thought about how to conquer Emma.
He couldn’t rush it.
From buying the bubble tea, he got an idea.
To win a woman, give her what she likes the most when she needs it the most.
Every woman with feelings and desires has weaknesses. There is no unbreakable defense! Only men who use the wrong method fail. There is no woman who can’t be conquered if you do it right.
Evan wasn’t the type of foolish guy who mindlessly bought women endless gifts without getting anything in return. He believed in strategic giving — offering value at the perfect moment to create desire and obligation.
Emma liked luxury items and good food. He would start there to raise her intimacy and slowly break down her defenses.
Evan remembered the Bulgari necklace she wore. He opened the website and checked. Even the cheapest clover necklace cost over two thousand dollars. The LV bag she wanted was even more expensive. Still, he smirked. Now that he had the System, everything felt different.
If used correctly, these wouldn’t be losses — they would be investments. With his new power, he was confident he could turn every gift into a decisive advantage.
But looking at his bank account, he only had about two thousand dollars total. Not enough for any of it.
Luxury was out. He would focus on food, shopping, and emotional tactics...
According to the system, Emma had worries — probably about the audition.
She was graduating soon and stressed about her future.
Just then, the TV turned on downstairs, mixed with Emma arguing loudly on the phone.
Evan thought for a moment, then went downstairs.
"Emma, watching TV?" Evan greeted her warmly.
Emma had changed into a loose T-shirt and short skirt. She sat on the couch drinking tea and watching a girl group show.
She only gave a polite "Mm" and looked a bit angry.
Evan sat at a safe distance and asked gently, "Emma, you’re graduating soon, right? How’s the audition at your school going?"
Emma sighed. "I didn’t make it before, but Star Entertainment is forming a new girl group. This is my last chance..."
"How could they reject you? You’re so talented, great dancer, beautiful. Why didn’t they pick you?" Evan asked, sounding supportive and annoyed at the company.
"Brother-in-law, you really understand! But this industry is so dark! Everything needs connections and dirty rules! Talent means nothing!!" Emma complained angrily and started telling him about her past auditions.

Evan was excited. This was working.
"You can’t miss this chance with Star Entertainment. You have to try! I’m free these days. I’ll drive you there and cheer for you!" Evan said warmly.
[Current State: Talking, relaxed, interested, touched] [Intimacy: +3 (30 Beginner)]
"Thank you, brother-in-law! You’re so good to me! No one else supports me!!"
Emma’s phone buzzed. She angrily picked it up, recorded a voice message and snapped, "I’m in arts school! What’s wrong with joining a girl group?! I’m not your wife, you don’t control me! I think we’re not right for each other! Stop bothering me!"
She threw the phone aside.
Evan’s eyes lit up. "Emma, what’s wrong? Fighting with your boyfriend? You should talk nicely. That temper of yours needs work."
"Brother-in-law, you don’t know! My ’boyfriend’ is so annoying!" Emma complained. "We’re not even married yet, and I don’t know him that well either, but he’s already thinking so much — always opposing my audition and trying to stop me from doing what I like! He wants me to work at his family company after graduation. It’s in another city! How often could I come home to see mom, dad, and you?! I don’t want that!"
She pouted, clearly frustrated.
What an idiot, Evan thought to himself. Her boyfriend is literally stupid. That kind of guy obviously doesn’t know how to date or treat women at all — always trying to care and rule over so many things, thinking he can control her life. How could he try to control such a beautiful woman and force her to give up her dreams? If it were me, I’d support her... and slowly make her mine.
