Chapter 35: Chapter 35: The First Interworld Trade

A small information window immediately expanded before Volcano’s eyes, displaying neatly organized information.

---

[Eternal Ice Crystal]

Grade: Common World Resource

Description:

A crystal formed naturally within regions of eternal frost after absorbing glacial mana for thousands of years.

Possesses exceptional cooling properties and is widely used in the construction of cold environments, preservation chambers, magical formations, and temperature regulation.

Can be refined into higher-grade Ice-attributed materials.

Current Market Value: 4–6 Faith Points per crystal.

---

Volcano’s eyebrows rose slightly.

"The description is clean... It even tells me what the resource is used for. That’s a great relief."

Letting out a quiet sigh, he carefully studied the Eternal Ice Crystal, his gaze lingering on its description.

"It’s an interesting item... I wonder if it could cool some of my world’s extreme heat zones..."

The thought alone piqued his curiosity. Without hesitation, he opened another material.

---

[Froststeel Ore]

Grade: Uncommon World Resource

Description:

A rare metallic ore naturally tempered by extreme cold.

Weapons and armor forged from Froststeel possess remarkable durability while permanently retaining low temperatures, making them especially effective against fire-attributed creatures.

Current Market Value: 45–60 Faith Points per kilogram.

---

"...That’s expensive."

He rubbed his chin thoughtfully while rereading the description.

"But... it could be incredibly useful for my species. Most creatures living on Volcan possess fire or sulfur-related attributes. If the Magnaris eventually learn to forge weapons from this..."

A smile slowly formed on his face.

"...it could completely change the way they fight."

Muttering to himself, Volcano continued opening the remaining materials one after another.

---

[Snow Lotus Seeds]

A rare medicinal plant capable of growing in frozen climates.

Highly sought after for alchemy and healing medicines.

---

[Spirit Ice Essence]

A concentrated elemental essence containing pure Ice Mana.

Frequently used for high-grade enchantments, cultivation treasures, and elemental rituals.

---

By the time he finished reading, Volcano finally understood why Nova had specifically offered those resources.

They weren’t random.

They were among the more valuable natural treasures produced by her world—resources that could actually prove useful on Volcan.

...Well, with the exception of the Snow Lotus Seeds.

Those probably wouldn’t survive for more than a few minutes in a volcanic world.

"That’s very kind of her..."

With that thought, he reopened Magma’s information.

---

[Magma]

Current Market Value:

3–5 Faith Points per cubic meter.

---

Volcano quietly scratched his cheek as he compared the values.

"...Now that I think about it..."

"If I trade one hundred cubic meters of magma, that’s only worth around three to five hundred Faith Points."

His gaze slowly drifted back toward Froststeel Ore.

One kilogram alone already exceeded the value of several cubic meters of magma.

"I guess equivalent exchange really does make sense..."

Completely unaware that Nova had quietly exaggerated how strictly the System enforced equivalent exchange, Volcano simply nodded to himself before reopening their private conversation.

Volcano: I think... I’d like Froststeel Ore.

Her reply came almost instantly.

Nova: Sure.

Nova: How much?

Volcano stared blankly at the message for several long seconds before awkwardly scratching the back of his head.

"...I honestly have no idea."This is the level of editing I think matches your novel best. Notice I didn’t rewrite Volcano’s personality or thoughts—I mostly stitched together fragmented lines, improved grammar, and let the Chapter breathe without changing its voice.

On the other side of the chat, Nova smiled to herself.

’Just as I thought...’

’A completely oblivious one.i thought he was testing me ..but I guess he wasn’t.’

After thinking for a brief moment, she typed another message.

Nova: Then... how about twenty kilograms?

Volcano immediately reopened the market information.

Twenty kilograms...

According to the estimated market value, it was worth somewhere between nine hundred and twelve hundred Faith Points.

Meanwhile, one hundred cubic meters of magma only amounted to roughly three to five hundred Faith Points.

"..."

A slight frown appeared on his face.

Something about those numbers didn’t quite add up.

Just as he was beginning to think it over, another message from Nova appeared.

Nova: Don’t worry.

Nova: Consider it a welcome gift between neighboring gods.

Nova: Besides...

Nova: You’ll probably be helping me again in the future.

"..."

Volcano remained silent for several seconds.

The way she talked... offering him more than he should be getting in a competitive game like Godcraft...

...reminded him of those scammers who sweet-talked him into buying overpriced junk, only for him to realize later that he’d been completely ripped off.

He narrowed his eyes.

"Is she trying to scam me somehow? But the numbers say otherwise..."

"Hmm... Froststeel Ore..."

"I could swear I’ve seen that somewhere before..."

Taking a few steps back, he reopened the Trade Platform and quickly scrolled through the countless listings.

His eyes suddenly stopped.

Seller: FrostQueen

Item: Froststeel Ore ×20 kg

Price: 20 Faith Points per kilogram

"Bingo!"

He pointed excitedly at the listing.

"This one’s selling twenty kilograms for only four hundred Faith Points."

He fell into thought once more.

"So... Nova isn’t actually giving me anything extra... is she?"

"...Or maybe she is?"

"Could her Froststeel simply be of a higher quality?"

"Or is FrostQueen just selling hers cheaply because she needs Faith Points?"

"...Ahh..."

He sighed heavily as he stared at the listing for a few more seconds.

"It’s my first trade, and I’m already overthinking everything."

In the end, he simply waved his hand dismissively.

"Forget it."

"It’s only magma."

"My world produces endless rivers of the stuff anyway."

"No need to sacrifice any more brain cells."

He reopened the chat.

Volcano: It’s a deal.

Without further hesitation, he filled in the trade request.

Recipient: Nova

Item: Magma

Quantity: 100 m³

Requested Item: Froststeel Ore ×20 kg

After checking everything one last time, Volcano pressed Confirm.

A translucent notification immediately appeared before both of them.

[Trade Request Sent.]

[Waiting for the other party’s confirmation...]

On the other side of the universe, Nova’s eyes lit up as another notification appeared.

[Trade Request Received.]

Sender: Volcano

Offering: Magma ×100 m³

Requesting: Froststeel Ore ×20 kg

A satisfied smile curved across her lips.

"...He really accepted."

Without the slightest hesitation, she pressed Confirm.

The System immediately responded.

---

[Ding!]

[Both parties have accepted the trade.]

[Verifying available resources...]

[...]

[Verification Complete.]

[Removing resources from World: Volcan...]

[Removing resources from World: Icefrost...]

[Initiating Interworld Transfer...]

For a brief moment, both gods watched in silence.

Then...

A brilliant crimson pillar descended upon one of Volcan’s countless lava lakes.

At the same time, a pale-blue pillar enveloped a massive stone reservoir hidden beneath Nova’s frozen settlement.

The System quietly completed the exchange.

One hundred cubic meters of magma vanished from Volcan.

Twenty kilograms of Froststeel Ore disappeared from Icefrost.

Moments later, the crimson pillar inside Nova’s underground chamber erupted.

Molten magma poured into the enormous reservoir she had prepared beforehand, radiating an intense heat that rapidly pushed back the surrounding frost. Dense clouds of steam immediately filled the cavern.

Nova couldn’t help but smile.

"It worked..."

"The geothermal chamber is finally complete."

At almost the exact same moment, the blue pillar upon Volcan slowly faded.

Where molten lava had flowed only seconds earlier now rested twenty gleaming ingots of pale-blue metal.

Despite lying amidst scorching volcanic rock, each ingot continuously released a faint icy mist. The surrounding lava hissed violently as the temperature around the ore visibly dropped.

Volcano floated closer, his eyes sparkling with curiosity.

"So this is Froststeel..."

He carefully reached out and touched one of the ingots.

It neither melted nor became warm.

Instead, it continuously radiated a pleasant chill that stubbornly resisted the overwhelming heat of Volcan itself.

"...This is incredible."

The next moment, he shot into the endless Void, pumping both fists into the air.

"YES!!"

"I finally did it!"

A broad grin spread across his face as excitement coursed through every fiber of his being.

Right then, another notification appeared before him.

[Ding!]

[Congratulations.]

[You have completed your first interworld trade.]

Rewards:

• 50 Faith Points

• Title Unlocked: Newbie Trader

---

Volcano blinked.

"...There’s even a reward for this?"

A grin slowly stretched across his face.

"Oh, my freaking God..."

"I freaking love Godcraft!"

His excitement lasted only a moment before another thought suddenly surfaced.

"...Now then..."

He looked down toward Volcan, his gaze shifting between the distant Silicari settlement and the thriving Magnari tribe.

"Where should I place this Froststeel..."

"Near the Silicari’s?"

"The Magnari’s I saved?"

"...or near Gree Ka Go’s settlement?"

His fingers rubbed thoughtfully against his chin.

"Either choice....could change the future of an entire civilization."
