Chapter 2: Chapter 2

Soren’s biological father, the Great Demon Emperor of this Endless Demonic Domain, had six Demon Venerable children, Soren was the sixth.

Above him were three half-brothers and two half-sisters.

Because of his cowardice, Soren had always been looked down upon by his siblings, they would trip him up for fun and even humiliate him to his face.

He watched helplessly as his mother, who had tried to stand up for him, was locked in the Black Water Dungeon by the Great Demon Emperor, suffering torment while he didn’t dare utter a word.

His newly wedded wife had been making eyes at and hooking up with his third brother, Abel, barely two nights after joining the family.

Because he was too much of a coward, the Great Demon Emperor felt utterly humiliated in front of his old subordinates, considering Soren the greatest shame of his life.

Three days ago, he publicly announced that he was completely severing their father-son relationship.

Whether in life or death, they would have no contact.

But in reality, Soren’s comprehension ability was extraordinarily high, so high it was almost absurd.

His cowardice caused him to constantly worry about the sky falling, rendering him completely afraid to fight anyone.

As a result, besides himself, absolutely no one knew just how ridiculous his strength truly was.

In this vast, boundless Endless Demonic Domain, aside from the Great Demon Emperor who had reached the absolute pinnacle, Soren was the undisputed number one.

Yet this coward just kept falling down and playing dead.

Not only did he fail to change despite everything, he lost all hope in life, and so, this morning, he took a sword and ended himself.

Soren was so angry he laughed.

You are truly a useless wimp! You could endure all that? What a total waste of your Lower-Tier Demon Emperor strength.

You have the power to stab others, yet you go and stab yourself to death, even the heavens must have been unable to watch any longer, which is why they brought me over to replace you!

Fine. I took your body and inherited your strength. As thanks, I’ll live on in this world in your place. I will also help you save your mother.

Since it had already happened, Soren could only accept it and make peace with it...

Make peace, my ass!

He had just transmigrated and was already being besieged! Who could make peace with that?

What did the deaths of the White Dragon Sect and Mountain Moon Cult disciples have to do with him?

Searching through his memories again, Soren instantly understood.

The nine thousand nine hundred disciples of the Mountain Moon Cult were indeed turned to ashes after their spiritual energy was drained by a demonic technique.

But it wasn’t him. It was Soren’s second brother, Duke.

Duke had intentionally left his name behind to frame him for fun.

The three thousand disciples of the White Dragon Sect hadn’t been killed at all. It was purely an excuse for the Sect Master and the others to vent their anger and gang up on him.

The other ten major sects and hundred minor sects were all in similar situations.

In the past, when the Great Demon Emperor was still protecting Soren, they wouldn’t have dared. But now that the father-son relationship was severed, every last one of them came running.

Hypocrites.

What a bunch of hypocrites.

But he wasn’t the old him anymore.

As a Demon, if he wasn’t ruthless and decisive enough, he would only be reduced to a stepping stone for these so-called righteous factions.

"The young master has treated this old one well. It is time for me to sacrifice his life to repay the young master." The one-meter-tall old man to the left of the bone chair stepped forward.

Soren turned to look at him, feeling a trace of surprise.

According to his memories, this old man was a , a trusted aide to Soren’s mother named Arnold.

Now he was one of Soren’s most trusted people, he had taken care of Soren for over three hundred years without a single mistake.

Their master-servant bond was excellent.

"Master Arnold, if anyone is going to die first, it’s me. How is it your turn?" The Minotaur to the right of the bone chair slammed his giant iron hammer into the ground, cracking the rock beneath.

His name was Bruce, the most unique half-beast in the Azure Spirit World, accepted neither by the beast race nor the human race.

Once, while severely injured and fleeing for his life, he escaped to the Endless Demonic Domain and was saved by Soren.

From then on he was dead-set on following him, a fiercely loyal, frontline death-sworn warrior.

"There’s no need to fight over who goes first, it’s meaningless. None of you are escaping!" The cold voice of the red-dressed empress echoed from opposite them.

Arnold walked forward a few steps on his cane, chuckled twice, and just as he was about to speak, Soren stood up and grabbed his shoulder.

"Young master, you..." Arnold didn’t understand what Soren meant, his face was full of doubt.

Bruce was also confused, gripping his huge hammer tightly, wary of the other side suddenly attacking.

"You are the Cold Moon Empress, Lysara, right? They all have their self-righteous reasons. What’s your reason for killing me?"

Bruce and Arnold looked as if they had seen a ghost.

"The young master actually spoke?"

"In the past, the young master hated speaking to strangers. Even when misunderstood by his own brothers and sisters, he wouldn’t utter a word. Today..."

A proud look flashed across the breathtakingly beautiful face of the Cold Moon Empress, standing in the void like a snow lotus, her voice carried the coldness and majesty of the distant ancient past.

"Exterminating demons is the duty of human cultivators. As a newly advanced Lower-Tier Empress of the human race, I have every reason to help them eliminate demons and defend the Dao!"

"Then why didn’t you come before?"

The air suddenly went dead silent.

Soren watched her eye twitch, speechless, and smiled. "Because you were afraid of the power of the entire Endless Demonic Domain, right?"

"You figured that since the Great Demon Emperor cut ties with me and left me for dead, you don’t have to be afraid anymore and can vent your frustrations on me?"
