Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Shelter Game
Congratulations, you have been fortunate enough to become a participant in the Shelter Game.
You have received an advanced bionic body. Please take good care of it and upgrade it.
You have received a basic shelter. Please upgrade it as soon as possible to withstand unknown risks.
You have received a small amount of survival supplies.
You have received two androids (x2).
The planet you are on is fraught with danger. Please proceed with caution after leaving the shelter.
Your shelter will face different dangers every 10 days. Please handle them properly.
The planet is permeated with high-intensity radiation. Please ensure your body remains in a low-radiation state.
You can open the system panel by concentrating.
Finally, I wish you a pleasant game.
Ye Yun opened his eyes and stared at the metallic room, completely bewildered.
’A shelter game??’
’I was living just fine on Blue Star. I don’t want to play any stupid shelter game.’
But after a moment of complaining, he quickly calmed down.
It had already happened, and his complaints wouldn’t change anything. That being the case, he might as well face reality calmly.
He took a deep breath, trying to compose himself, then focused his attention on the translucent screen before him.

Besides his personal attributes and the shelter’s status, there were a few options at the very bottom.
[Trade] [Build] [Produce] [Chat].
The corner of Ye Yun’s mouth twitched. ’Jeez, this interface is set up just like a game.’
’Are these high-level aliens running some kind of cash-grab scheme?’
Ye Yun clicked on Trade.
The exchange was completely empty, which made sense. The other players had likely just woken up, same as him.
Ye Yun opened the Build tab. The blueprints on it were all grayed out, indicating they couldn’t be built yet.
The [Produce] option was also unavailable. It seemed it needed to be activated separately.
Soon, Ye Yun clicked on the last option, the chat interface.
The chat interface was divided into two sections: a public chat room and a private one.
Ye Yun looked at Public Chat Room 001.
"Help, what the hell is going on?"
"This has to be a stupid prank!"
"Oh my god, is this heaven? I’ve got two hot girls in my shelter who do whatever I say!!!!"
"Those are androids! Calm down."
"So what if they’re androids? I just checked out the quality. They’re way better than those silicone dolls that cost thousands."
.....
Seeing everyone mention the androids, Ye Yun’s interest was piqued.
He opened the map included with the system.
The current shelter was very small. It had a total of seven construction zones, three of which were currently unbuilt.
The four existing structures were:
Dormitory LV1, Power Room LV1, Storeroom LV1, and Entrance Gate LV1.
Looking at the system’s list, Ye Yun felt a bit helpless.
This so-called shelter was truly a bit shabby.
He left the dormitory and found himself in a narrow metal corridor.
This single corridor separated the six other construction zones, with the Entrance Gate at one end.
To the left of the dormitory was the Power Room, and to the right was the Storeroom.
As soon as Ye Yun approached the Power Room, its valve-like door slid open automatically.
In the center of the Power Room was a square, blue, glowing object, with several wires plugged into its base.
As Ye Yun stared at the glowing object, its specific details appeared in his vision.
[Nuclear Battery]
[Power Generation: 1 point/hour]
[Durability: 999/1000]
Standing next to this nuclear battery were two androids.
Their appearance was almost indistinguishable from humans, with smooth, lustrous skin and perfectly proportioned bodies.
If not for the serial numbers on their foreheads and the obvious mechanical joints visible on their limbs, Ye Yun would have almost mistaken them for real people. It was no wonder the guys in the chat room were going crazy.
As Ye Yun drew closer, the previously motionless androids immediately activated.
"Welcome back, Administrator."
The two androids spoke in unison, their voices devoid of any emotional fluctuation.
Ye Yun rubbed his nose, a little embarrassed. He wasn’t quite used to being addressed like that.
Even though they were androids, their flawless appearance and near-human expressions still made him feel a bit awkward.
"Um, do you two have names?" Ye Yun asked tentatively.
The android on the left immediately replied:
"According to the shelter system’s settings, we do not currently have names.
The Administrator can name us."
Ye Yun hesitated, glancing at the serial numbers on their foreheads.
’They might look almost human, but they’re still just robots at the end of the day.’
’It would feel weird to give them real names.’ With that thought, he stopped hesitating.
"Then your names will be One and Two."
One and Two replied simultaneously:
"New designation confirmed."
Ye Yun looked at One and Two’s detailed information.
Name: One
Strength: 3
Perception: 3
Endurance: 3
Charisma: 3
Intelligence: 3
Agility: 3
Luck: 3
Durability: 100% [Repairable]
Power: 100%
Their overall stats were lower than his, but the advantage was that they only needed to be charged, not fed or watered.
Since the Power Room required an operator to function properly, it meant that if no one was operating it, the room couldn’t generate electricity.
Therefore, under normal circumstances, one android had to remain in the Power Room.
Of course, the two could also take turns.
Currently, the entire shelter’s power consumption was 4 points per day.
This meant that the Power Room only needed to run for four hours to meet the shelter’s electricity needs.
It was then that Ye Yun noticed a square, silver construction robot in the far corner, besides the two charging pods.
However, this thing’s intelligence level was even lower than the androids’. It couldn’t even manage a simple conversation and could only receive construction commands from the system.
Ye Yun couldn’t think of any commands to give the two androids for the time being, so he left the Power Room and walked into the adjacent Storeroom.
In the middle of the Storeroom was a huge circular disk.
[Material Quantum Transporter]
[Description: Allows items and materials to be circulated among different exchanges.]
Next to the disk were four neat rows of metal shelves, which held very few items.
Ye Yun walked to the nearest shelf and picked up a blue cube, slightly smaller than his fist. It had a yellow lightning bolt symbol on it.
[Small Power Cube]
[Description: Can be converted into 1 point of power.]
Ye Yun looked at the other shelves.
The other two shelves held compressed food and drinking water, respectively.
Both of these items were also square, but they were a bit larger than the power cube.
The compressed food was yellow with a knife and fork symbol, while the drinking water was green with a water drop symbol.
[Small Food Cube]
[Description: Restores 100 Sustenance upon use.]
[Small Water Cube]
[Description: Restores 100 Hydration upon use.]
Currently, he was the only one in the shelter who needed food and water. The other two androids only needed to be charged.
According to the system’s instructions, his body required 100 points of Sustenance and Hydration each day.
The next moment, he realized there was a serious problem.
