Chapter 86: VIP Release Announcement
[Regarding Updates]
I’m hesitant to make promises. It’s better not to promise at all than to make one I can’t keep.
I can absolutely guarantee 4,000 characters a day.
However, I do have a goal: to work my way toward 10,000 characters a day.
The key words there being "try" and "work toward."
While update volume is Life, Quality is the soul.
I’ll do my best to post more updates without sacrificing Quality.
Later on, if I update 10,000 characters a day, I will split it into four Chapters, not five.

[Regarding Content]
Many readers have said my writing is full of filler.
Especially the 30 Chapters about the test at the beginning of the school term.
But here’s the frustrating part: my reader retention was already dropping in the preceding Chapters, but during those 30 Chapters, it went back up.
In fact, it rose every day and never once dropped.
It only started dropping again after the test was over.
So I’m at a loss.
Everyone was complaining, yet the reader retention rose.
[Regarding Style]
I consider my writing style to be quite detailed, which I don’t think should count as filler.
But it seems that not many readers enjoy this style.
I’ve tried changing my style to be more concise and pack more content into each Chapter.
But it’s very difficult. I always get the feeling that I haven’t explained things clearly enough, and I worry that my readers won’t understand.
Besides, changing my writing style mid-serialization feels very awkward for me as I write.
Plus, once the book goes premium, I’ll have to release bonus Chapters, which makes it even harder to change my style on short notice. It really ties my hands.
So for now, I’ll stick to my own style.
[Future Plot]
There will be more Female Hero subordinates.
Race Improvement will also be starting very soon.
Also, each character will undergo a different style of Genetic Enhancement.
Overall, the Female Heroes are complete women, but they will possess characteristic Genes from different Races.
Here’s a small spoiler: "Gu Qing will be able to use Silk Spinning soon."
This kind of small change shouldn’t be a major turn-off, right? I think it’s quite fun.
However, I’ll have to be more restrained with the "R-rated content" that everyone loves so much.

Especially for a new author like me, who won’t be given any special consideration.
So I’ll try my best not to push the envelope too far. The novel has to survive, after all.
