Chapter 529: Chapter 109: Titan Koch, God of Thousand Faces (Part 2)
"No, that’s not right! You’re not an Ancient God at all! Your aura is just somewhat similar to one!"
"In the end, you’re just an Authority-Level Follower, just like me!"
"Hah. You almost scared me!"
"..."
Koch jumped in fright the moment he saw the enormous, Griffin-like behemoth appear before him.
He had thought he’d encountered an Ancient God.
But as it turned out, after carefully sensing it, he realized this giant Griffin’s Divine Body was merely a bit larger than his own.
It completely lacked the pure, ancient, and awe-inspiring aura of an Ancient God.
’What’s the use of having a huge Body Type!’
’In the end, it all comes down to a real fight!’
Besides, Koch now realized something else.
This ridiculously huge, Authority-Level Griffin was at an even lower level than him—barely at the Initial Entry state of the Authority Level!
’This thing?’
’And it dares to act so arrogantly before me, Koch?’
Koch was furious!
Not only had he lost so much territory, but now some mere member of an Ancient Divine Race who had just reached the Authority Level dared to provoke him!
That settled it.
The next moment, Koch’s figure shot upward.
At the same time, his entire Divine Body was covered by a thick, golden aura.
In just an instant, he transformed into a Golden Armored Giant nearly ten million kilometers tall!
At the same time, under his Authority’s influence, a billion-kilometer expanse of the surrounding Star Sea transformed into a world of flowing, golden light.
In this golden world, Koch’s Authority Power was amplified to its maximum.
The entire golden Star Sea was filled with shimmering streams of light, and much of that light formed into thread-like dotted lines that wrapped around him and the giant Griffin opposite him.
"Matter Law, Metal Authority?"
"A little interesting. However, an Authority like the Metal Law is ultimately just a minor path under the Matter Law."
"This is why a Clan is always a Clan! They’re naturally incapable of comprehending and mastering a High-Rank Law!"
"No matter. I will have you become another one of my faces. A Metal Law like this... ’we’ don’t have one yet. Although its Power is a bit weak, it’s not bad as a supplement."
The giant Griffin paid no mind to the golden streams of light encircling it.
Instead, it spoke to Titan Koch, uttering words that he found utterly confusing.
But whether he understood or not didn’t matter.
Koch had already attacked the moment the giant Griffin began to speak.
Like an ancient Warrior, he strode forward, stepping on the golden streams of light as he threw a punch at the giant Griffin.
A terrifying amount of Energy converged within his fist’s shadow.
The golden brilliance was like a small Sun.
Even the mere ripples of Energy it sent out were already causing the surrounding Space to emit faint, formless sounds of shattering under the unbearable strain.
However, just as his punch was about to smash into the giant Griffin’s chest...
...the Griffin suddenly vanished!
Yes, the giant Griffin had bizarrely disappeared right before Koch’s eyes.
It didn’t retreat into Subspace, nor did it dissipate like a projection.
Instead, it was more like it had transformed into endless, minuscule particles and vanished completely from the Material Interface.
Koch showed no surprise at this.
After all, even mortal Saint Tiers could perform Elementalization, and Deities could naturally do it even better.
So, to Koch, the vanished giant Griffin had simply converted its flesh-and-blood Divine Body into Star Energy Particles of its own Law, which now permeated the space.
’But what’s the use of doing that?’
’We’re both Authority-Level beings.’
Koch was absolutely confident. At such a short distance, right in the area where the Griffin had dissolved into Law-infused Star Energy Particles, all his punch had to do was erupt.
It would be enough to annihilate the vast majority of those minuscule, yet still highly concentrated, Energy particles!
It might not kill it, but severely wounding it would be no problem at all.
"HAAAH!!!"
"Die!!!"
Everything happened in an instant as the terrifying force of his punch finally erupted.
In that moment, a scene resembling a supernova explosion appeared.
A terrifying blast wave of light completely enveloped the area where the giant Griffin had been.
At the same time, the force of the punch erupted like a super-massive Particle Cannon, destroying everything in its path.
The might of this single punch shot out, reaching a region of the Star Sea nearly half a light-year away.
And this was just a Clan-Level Authority being.
Its Power was so terrifying, one could only imagine what a battle between Authority-Level Ancient Gods would look like.
After throwing that punch, the golden light of Koch’s entire Divine Body dimmed considerably.
After all, when facing another Clan-Level Authority being, he never planned to hold back, even if his opponent was only at the Initial Entry level of Authority.
But this punch, as powerful as it seemed, and even though it appeared to have affected the giant Griffin’s Law particles on a microscopic level, the impact was actually negligible.
In fact, the very instant Koch’s punch landed, unseen, in a moment that even Koch himself failed to notice, a bizarre Power shot out from behind, aimed directly at his head!
A massive Spiritual warning blared in his mind!
Koch whipped his head around.
He immediately drew upon the power within the region of the Star Sea under his Authority’s influence, concentrating it on himself.
Instantly, his body began to glow brilliantly once more.
However, it was all in vain.
His Authority Power failed to block the invasion of this bizarre force.
It was as if it was unaffected by any external force; not even the Power of a Law could touch it.
And so, in the end, the thread of Power shot straight into the brain of Koch’s Divine Body!
In the same instant, it tainted his Divine Format.
"How is this possible!!!"
"I!!"
"AHHH!!!"
His Divine Format was stained with chaos.
His Spiritual nature, and even his very consciousness, were stained with the gray of chaos.
