Chapter 525: Chapter 107: The Titan’s Dilemma, The Decisive Moment (Part 2)

If they couldn’t be sealed, the revived Authority Level Deities would just come back time and time again to cause trouble for the victors.

It would be a completely endless war of attrition.

Guarding against a thief for a thousand days?

That wasn’t good news for anyone.

So, in Their eyes,

What did it matter to Them if the entire Giant Dragon Race was annihilated, or if all the Titans were?

The Titans had over thirty Authority Level members, not to mention the four of them at the Ancient God Power Level.

If either side were to be completely wiped out, the other would be doomed to face endless trouble for ages to come.

Of course, the situation might change if a Pillar God were to appear on one side.

But was becoming a Pillar God really so easy?

What’s more, the Titan Race’s territory was already out in the open.

And their attackers?

The Titans still had no idea where they came from.

That made the situation extremely tricky.

Unfortunately,

While these four Ancient God Titans were entertaining the idea of a truce...

...Lince and the Three Gods of the Cosmos had no such intention.

’You can’t even find my faction, so how could you possibly get revenge after you’re dead?’

’If we don’t go after you, who else would we target?’

This was likely the true thought process of Lince and the Three Gods of the Cosmos at that moment!

There was nothing more to be said!

Lince and the Three Gods of the Cosmos were set on devouring the Titan Race!

——————

Lince and the Three Gods of the Cosmos met again in the familiar Dark Space.

"It’s time to make our move."

"I have already made all the arrangements for where we’ll strike."

The God of All Machines looked extremely conceited, as if certain this battle would be a real eye-opener for Lince.

The Mother of All Things chuckled.

"I, too, am ready. I’ve had my children make thorough preparations to seal off Subspace."

"I don’t expect it to trap the four Ancient God Titans, but it should at least hold on to a good number of the Authority-Level ’main courses’ under Their command."

The God of Thousand Faces was more of a lone wolf.

"I don’t have that many underlings, nor do I have any true Authority Level Followers."

"So, it looks like I’ll have to do the heavy lifting. We will be joining the fray ourselves."

"But let’s get one thing straight: the blood food belongs to whoever takes it down first. No snatching."

The God of Thousand Faces put on a warm, utterly harmless-looking smile.

But was he really so harmless?

Him going in personally was one thing, but the ’we’ he mentioned was something else entirely.

When Lince and the other two heard this, they immediately understood what he meant.

It seemed the God of Thousand Faces planned to bring some of his other incarnations this time.

No, ’incarnations’ wasn’t quite the right word.

After all, strictly speaking, each of his incarnations *was* him.

’So, how many ’hims’ is this guy going to bring this time?’

’And what kind of terrifying power will they display?’

Lince was both curious and solemn.

As were the God of All Machines and the Mother of All Things.

In any case, now that the three of them had laid out their plans, Lince added:

"In that case, it is indeed time to make our move."

"I have nothing to prepare."

"After all, my two clan members and I are just the bait, so I can only do my best on the main battlefield."

As Lince said this, he gave a slight, self-deprecating smile.

"That’s good."

"We have never seen you go all-out in the Material Realm, Nigredo."

"We hope you don’t disappoint us~"

the Mother of All Things teased.

"Wouldn’t dream of it."

"He has the Authority of the Fiery Sun, after all. When it comes to a straight-up fight, I doubt many Law Powers can confront the Law Power of a Nig Hog head-on."

The God of Thousand Faces was playing the jokester again.

He had essentially pointed out Lince’s advantage for him.

But, as the God of Thousand Faces also implied,

that only applied to a head-on confrontation.

If it wasn’t a direct fight, things could go very differently.

Besides, there was no real way to rank Laws as stronger or weaker.

Since they were all Ancient Gods, the Laws they commanded were inevitably Upper-Rank Laws, all aligned with the path to becoming a Pillar God.

Thus, at their Authority Level, the ultimate contest came down to one’s personal foundation and the power of one’s standing.

Where did Lince’s advantage lie?

Lince, of course, knew the answer.

It was an advantage that the Three Gods of the Cosmos also possessed.

The advantage granted by their permissions within the Cosmic Game.

As long as they were willing to use their permissions to draw upon the game’s reserved Energy... ...when it came to a war of attrition... ...truthfully, Lince and the Three Gods of the Cosmos weren’t afraid of any other Authority Level Deities.

As long as they weren’t completely outmatched in terms of standing and raw power.

Lince was confident that very few Authority Level Deities of a similar standing existed in this world who could compete with them in a battle of attrition.

Of course, if the Evil Deities on the other side also possessed a foundational power from a fragment similar to the True Cosmic Game...

...then all bets were off.

Moreover, he was certain that across the entire Cosmos, there must be many other beings like him and the Three Gods of the Cosmos who were empowered by the game.

The only difference between them was the scale of their respective games.

It was a difference in the total amount of energy their games could mobilize and reserve.

Of course, the primary features and functions of different fragments would surely vary as well.

Therefore, if Lince and his allies were to encounter such beings in the future, it would be hard to say who would come out on top in a conflict.

"Alright, let us waste no more words."

"Let’s all get ready!"

"If this battle goes smoothly, I believe we will take another great stride on the path to becoming Pillar Gods!"

The God of All Machines didn’t even need to emphasize that point.

Four Ancient God Titans, all at an average level of Authority Level Perfection.

Their Clans were formidable as well.

If they could devour all of this...

The Three Gods of the Cosmos wouldn’t have shown up if the prize wasn’t tempting enough.

In the end, risk and opportunity went hand in hand.

With the True Cosmic Game backing them, it would be a catastrophic loss not to go all-in.

The time and place for the decisive battle were all but set.

Soon, the four figures vanished from the Dark Space.

Meanwhile,

Lince’s consciousness returned to reality, and he quickly nodded to the Earth Giant Dragon and Dawn Giant Dragon beside him.

The Earth Giant Dragon saw the nod and said nothing.

Instead, he immediately pulled the Aubri Giant Dragon World, which had been hiding and fleeing alongside him in Subspace, back into the Material Realm.

The three of them then simply hovered in place, waiting quietly.

The very moment the three of them came to a halt,

within a one-light-year radius of their position in the Star Sea,

the entire empty expanse of the Star Sea began to undergo a terrifying transformation.

Against the dark backdrop of the Star Sea, vast quantities of dark matter energy began to stir to life.

In that instant, the pure darkness seemed to transform into a black sludge.

This sludge squirmed and twisted ceaselessly,

as if undergoing some bizarre transformation.

But this bizarre transformation vanished as quickly as it appeared, lasting only an instant.

Everything seemed like an illusion.

But inexplicably, within this region of the Star Sea, several planets that looked like Death Stars suddenly appeared.

There were many such barren planets, and they were widely scattered.

Under normal circumstances, few beings would pay any mind to these Death Stars.

And this was precisely the handiwork of the Mother of All Things.

As for the God of All Machines?

Hidden within the chaotic currents of Subspace corresponding to the Material Realm, he had already gathered a vast number of mechanical fragments.

These layered mechanical fragments were constantly buffeted and swept about by the chaotic currents of Subspace.

But no matter how the currents of Subspace raged, the fragments never strayed from the area within a one-light-year radius of their target in the Material Realm.

Meanwhile,

a large number of Sinful Gods appeared among them.

These Sinful Gods used the Metal fragments as cover, concealing themselves within the debris.

But they weren’t idle.

Right now, They were busy tracing patterns, performing a task akin to constructing Energy nodes.

The next moment, as the Energy nodes were completed in succession, in just an instant,

at least a hundred worlds across different regions—planets the Cancer of All Machines had kept in reserve as blood food—completely collapsed.

Vast numbers of living beings were instantly reduced to writhing flesh and blood, which surged into the collapsing Space.

All the Energy and flesh were compressed into the nodes by the Power of Law, leaving no visible trace of anything unusual.

In short, the Cancer of All Machines was pouring all of his reserves into this one battle, so His preparations were completed swiftly.

And finally?

There was, of course, the God of Thousand Faces.

However, the God of Thousand Faces made no grand display.

He simply observed the changes in the vast region of the Star Sea from a higher dimension, and then smiled.

With that smile,

the Space around Him suddenly began to ripple.

One, two, three...

An unknown number of terrifying figures appeared.

No fewer than a hundred different beings swiftly concealed themselves within the formless darkness of the surrounding Star Sea.
