Chapter 514: Chapter 102: The Titans Attack, A Preemptive Strike

Traversing the dimensions between the material and immaterial.

Four Ancient God Titans, along with twenty-seven Authority Level Clan Titans, finally neared the Star Sea that contained the Giant Dragon World.

This time, nearly all of the Titan Race’s combat-ready Authority Level beings had been deployed.

The only ones left behind were the forces needed to defend the Titan Base Camp.

In any case, the fact that the Ancient God Titans left no one behind to defend their home world could be considered a gamble.

However, the Titan World had already been relocated long ago.

It certainly wouldn’t run into any trouble in the short term.

So, the four Ancient God Titans had a very simple plan.

They wanted to end this battle as quickly and decisively as possible.

"It seems that newcomer, Angus, has already been dealt with by that old dragon."

"Just as I thought. That old dragon really knows how to hold a grudge."

"He’s already started breaking our tacit understanding. He’s making it clear he wants a fight to the death with us."

All the Titans paused, looking toward the Material Realm.

The most slender of the four leading Ancient God Titans was the first to speak.

"This was bound to happen."

"We all knew it, but at our level, there’s truly no need for things to be this way."

"I have no idea what that old dragon is thinking, insisting on making an enemy of us."

The Titan who appeared as an old man sighed.

"What? Benedict, are you still thinking of making peace with the Dragon Race?"

The more feminine-looking Titan suddenly frowned.

"There’s no point in discussing that now."

"Since we have chosen to act, there is no turning back."

"..."

The four Ancient God Titans looked at one another.

Their expressions were all grave.

They knew the abilities of the Dragon Race all too well.

They would not be easy to defeat.

Even with all their elites deployed for this battle, deep down, the four of them still felt a little uncertain.

’How many Ancient Dragons have actually returned?’

’What if it’s far more than the three we know of?’

’How great will our losses be?’

Of course, such thoughts only flickered through their minds for a moment.

Regardless, they had already prepared for the worst.

Even if it meant a pyrrhic victory, they had to eliminate the Dragon Race this time.

As for defeat?

That was absolutely impossible.

Never mind the fact that the four Ancient God Titans themselves were at an average of Authority Level Perfection.

Consider the twenty-seven Clan Titans who followed them.

Not one of them was like Angus, who had only just achieved Initial Entry into the Authority Level.

Most of them had long since entered the Authority Level Stabilization Period.

Among the Clan, the six Titan elders of their direct lineage, who were responsible for managing the mortal world, had even reached Authority Level Peak.

Even though the Authority Peak of a Clan Level Titan was still weaker than an Ancient God in their Authority Level Stabilization Period...

...the gap was not that significant.

Two or three of them were enough to tie down an Ancient God in their Authority Level Stabilization Period.

The rest were not far behind.

With such a large group of Authority Level Clan Titans.

Losing was simply out of the question.

For a Clan member, reaching Authority Level Peak was essentially the apex of their power.

Taking one more step forward...

...was a near-impossible feat.

Their innate depth of life was insufficient, making it nearly impossible to ascend to the rank of a Pillar God.

Even their affinity for the Laws was nowhere near the level an Ancient God could perceive.

Could innate deficiencies be compensated for through acquired means?

At the very least, even if the Titans created Fake Dragons or stripped the Bloodline Power from other Ancient Gods to bestow upon their Clan...

...all they could gain was a boost to their Abilities and a slight compensation to their depth of life.

To become an existence on par with an Ancient God...

...was something that, aside from Lince’s True Game, no other being in the known universe had ever achieved.

"Let’s go!"

"Everyone, prepare for battle!"

"Let us go and face them!"

With that, the Clan Level Titans followed the lead Titan, all with grave expressions.

And so, the mighty host of Authority Level beings traversed the turbulence of Subspace, heading straight for their final destination.

But they did not know.

At this very moment, somewhere near this Star Sea, three Authority Level Ancient Gods of distinct forms had already made their Descent.

"They should be here soon."

"Turbulent energy fluctuations are already echoing through the nearby Subspace."

The ’Cancer’ of All Machines, shrouded in gray mist and hidden within a Material Realm nebula, spoke slowly.

"Oh, so soon?"

"Then again, they’re all big shots at or above the Authority Level Stabilization Period. Of course they’d be fast."

"What do you two think?"

"There are quite a few civilizations in this World Community that have been colonized by the Titan Race."

"A search of the Cosmos has already revealed plenty of targets. How about we let some of our little ones go have some fun behind their lines?"

The God of Thousand Faces suggested playfully, stepping out from the darkness in the humanoid form of a Faceless Man.

"Why not?"

"It’s a perfect opportunity to devour some more Life Planets. My children can breed more."

"I might even be able to cultivate a few more at the Authority Level."

"As reserve resources for my ascension to Pillar God, the more children I have, the better."

The Mother of All Things appeared as a formless mass of writhing flesh.

Then, atop her true body of writhing flesh, the upper torso of a beautiful woman swiftly took shape.

Devouring stars?

Coming from her mouth, it sounded as trivial as any other small matter.

It had to be said that the Mother of All Things and the God of All Machines truly lived up to their reputation as Deities born from the same Triple Star System.

Their forms and appearances were utterly bizarre.

In fact, their favorite pastime was also devouring stars.

Of course, they didn’t devour just any Life Planet. When it came to choosing, they both preferred magic-less Life Planets.
