Chapter 511: Chapter 100: Titan’s Resolution, The Dragon Race Strikes First
Back then, they had tested the Power of the Earth Giant Dragon and the Dawn Giant Dragon after the two reached the Authority Level.
Of the four Titans, three had gone, while one remained behind to guard their home.
So, it was obvious.
Neither side came out ahead in that clash.
This led to the Titans’ subsequent standard procedure: leaving the Dragon Race be, while keeping them under surveillance.
After all these years,
the four Titans’ approach couldn’t be called wrong.
After all, they hadn’t engaged in a full-blown war with the two Dragons.
Not only did their own Power undergo a qualitative change, but they also gained many more Authority Level Clans under their command.
With their current strength, they felt they could destroy the Dragons—including the newly appeared Fiery Sun Giant Dragon—without much difficulty.
However...
"Destroying" them didn’t necessarily mean killing them.

The best method was to grievously injure, imprison, and seal them away.
Only then could they prevent the Dragon Race from rising from the ashes.
But what would be the price for doing so?
It would undoubtedly be immense.
They might even lose several Authority Level beings on their own side.
Was such a price really worth paying, given the vast foundation they now commanded?
Would they have to abandon one or two of the World Communities they had already conquered?
That wasn’t out of the question, of course.
But with the Fiery Sun Giant Dragon’s appearance, who knew if other Giant Dragons had returned with it?
What if they were lying in wait?
It had to be said,
the four Titans were no fools.
They had calculated every possibility.
After all, the Earth Giant Dragon had announced the Fiery Sun Giant Dragon’s return with such fanfare.
Even a fool would think something was amiss.
"This has become difficult to handle."
"We never should have allowed that old dragon to survive."
"We should have used our full Power to suppress them as soon as the Dawn Giant Dragon appeared."
"And now look at us. We’re damned if we do, and damned if we don’t."
Another of the four Titans, a figure shrouded in darkness, sighed and spoke.
"For us, the path to becoming Pillar Gods is all that matters now."
"It’s a blood feud between our Races, but tens of thousands of years have passed. Is it really something we can’t let go of?"
"If we think this will be too difficult and the potential losses too great, then let’s just leave it be."
"Exterminating the Dragon Race simply isn’t worth it, compared to potentially losing the resources and sustenance from our many World Communities after a war."
The last of the Titans, an Ancient God with a somewhat elderly appearance, spoke with a frown.
"Hah! So we ignore them. You think they’ll do the same?"
"What if they’ve come back for revenge? What if they plan to seize our territory? Are we just supposed to wait passively to be attacked?"
"Your thinking is far too simple. Even if they don’t seek revenge now, there’s no guarantee they won’t seize the first opportunity to do so in the future."
"The path to becoming a Pillar God isn’t something one can achieve just by having enough resources."
"Furthermore, that path brings with it a backlash from the rules set by the will of the Cosmos itself. If those creatures wait until then to make their move, it will be far too late for regrets."
"In short, as I see it, this is a war we must fight, whether we want to or not!"
"And it must be a decisive victory. We’ll seal every Ancient Dragon we can. If any revive in the future, we’ll just hunt them down and seal them again."
"Step by step, we will purge these threats."
The muscular Titan declared his final intention, his eyes cold and hard.

"Theodosius has a point."
"Isn’t that the very method we used to conquer such a vast territory in the first place?"
"Though we may suffer great losses by striking the Dragon Race now, as long as we are victorious, we will soon reclaim any lost territory!"
"Let’s go to war!"
"There’s nothing more to discuss. We should summon all our Authority Level subordinates at once!"
"It’s been a long time since we’ve made a move. This time, let’s show all those who spy on us, all those cowards hiding in the shadows!"
"Making an enemy of us will only lead to a miserable end!"
The Titan in the dark shadows finally agreed to the resolution.
As for the female Titan and the one with the appearance of an old man,
they exchanged a look and, one after the other, nodded in agreement.
The feud between the Giant Dragons and the Titans was ancient.
Now that things had come to this, there was no longer any room to let the matter slide.
No matter the cost, the Titans now intended to utterly annihilate the Dragon Race.
And just as the four Titans were summoning all their Authority Level Followers, in the region of the Star Sea where the Giant Dragon World was located...
...aboard a bizarre metal warship.
...the Clan Titan, an Authority Level Titan named Angus, wore a broad smile.
"Haha."
"Those old bastards. They think they’re safe hiding on the main star?!"
"They think they can just steal my territory by keeping me posted out here?!"
"Hmph! Those old fools."
"Now, if I’m going to suffer, you can bet none of you are getting off easy!"
Although Angus was a little nervous about the Fiery Sun Giant Dragon’s return, when he thought about his own situation and the message from the Ancestral Gods, his long-suppressed dissatisfaction was finally vented.
Going to war with Giant Dragons was no joke.
Who knew how many Authority Level Clan Titans would die this time.
But so what?
Authority Level beings could be revived anyway.
If they died, they died.
As for the fact that revival took time and their territories might be lost...
Hmph.
Angus had already come to terms with it.
He couldn’t get his hands on his own territory before, and he certainly wouldn’t be able to now.
Besides,
he might not even be among the Authority Level beings who died this time.
And even if an Authority Level being who died was later revived, it would likely be difficult for them to reclaim their original territory from within the Clan.
After all, time waits for no one. Who knew what the territorial situation within the Clan would be by the time a fallen Authority Level being was revived?
So, the thought of his fellow clansmen losing their territories, or even their lives,
filled him with an inexplicable sense of satisfaction.
It felt good not to be the only one suffering!

Better yet, most of the current Authority Level Clan Titans were descendants from the four direct lineages of the Ancestral Gods.
If these guys died,
Angus would be absolutely ecstatic.
It would be a way to vent the resentment he had held in his heart for the past three thousand years.
Of course, Angus had already made up his mind about this time.
Once the great war began,
he planned to be the first to charge into battle.
It would be best to die a worthy death.
That’s right.
Angus had no intention of making it back alive.
In his view, only the combination of taking credit for discovering the Dragons’ anomaly and dying a heroic death for the Ancestral Gods would truly make the four Ancient God Titans remember him.
That way, even after he was revived,
those old-timers wouldn’t dare to give him too much trouble.
And even if they were that audacious, he should be able to appeal directly to the Ancestral Gods for justice.
It was a beautiful thought.
He’d even forgotten about the safety of his two direct Followers.
In the end, what did Followers matter?
Angus had never cared about them.
As long as he remained at the Authority Level and possessed enough power,
he could find plenty of powerful subordinates in the future.
So naturally, he couldn’t be bothered to care about those who followed him now.
At a time like this,
he couldn’t very well take the risk of letting them sneak away, could he?
The great war with the Dragon Race was bound to be intense.
At this point, nearly every Deity inside this Iron Giant Ship was facing certain death.
Who could possibly escape?
At this moment, Angus was in a genuinely good mood.
He even started sipping wine again as he waited.
But just then,
suddenly, Angus’s Spiritual sense blared a frantic warning.
He was about to react in alarm, but in the next instant, his expression became calm and he sat back down.
And in the very instant he sat down,
the entire massive Iron Giant Ship was inexplicably yanked from the dimension of Subspace back into the material world.
At the same time, as the startled Deities regained their senses and used their Divinity to investigate the situation outside,
they discovered three terrifying Ancient Dragons watching them, their indifferent gazes fixed upon everything inside the Iron Giant Ship.

"This...!!!"
"It’s Ancient Dragons!!! And there are three of them!!!"
"We’re done for! They really are making a move on us! I knew staying here wasn’t safe anymore!"
"What’s the use of saying that now?"
"We should be thinking about how to save our own skins!"
"..."
The Deities fell into a panic, instinctively trying to transform into streaks of light to flee.
But in the next moment,
the entire Space seemed to freeze solid!
At that moment, all Deities below the rank of Main God were rendered completely immobile.
As for the Deities above Main God but below Authority Level, even those who could move found their actions slowed to a crawl.
In the end, the only one left who could still move normally was the Authority Level Titan, Angus.
