Chapter 3703: Arrogant

Editor: Nyoi-Bo Studio

"Idiot! Overestimating yourself!"

Beside him, Regin stared fixedly at the phantom of the Sea God in the sky, and anger immediately surged up in his heart. His fists clenched tightly, creaking.

He finally understood.

Directly using the power of a god-tier divine statue to summon the Sea God could save a great deal of time.

But this was simply impossible to achieve!

These two madmen had used his fear to obtain Sea God Island’s resources and forcibly carried out the summoning of the Sea God.

What exactly were they trying to do?

"Stop him!"

Xavier shouted and immediately led a group of guards beside him to try to interrupt the ritual.

"Wait!"

Regin suddenly roared.

The people under Xavier immediately stopped and looked at the enraged Island Lord Regin.

"Idiot! Is stopping him still useful now?! It’s already too late! Let him continue!"

Regin stared fixedly at Fang Heng, who was controlling the ritual.

They had no time left.

Now, stopping the ritual was possible—but then what?

Start the divine awakening ritual all over again?

Suddenly, a crazy thought uncontrollably surfaced in Regin’s mind.

If... just in case?

What if this guy was extremely lucky and actually succeeded in summoning the Sea God?

He suddenly thought—he was a devout believer of the Sea God.

If the Sea God was truly summoned, he could request the Sea God to eliminate the false god’s believers, and at the same time, completely crush the other two main islands underfoot, becoming the true ruler of this world!

Xavier was stunned when he heard this.

He also realized it.

They were already on a sinking ship; it was too late to get off now.

Around the ritual platform, more and more priests controlling the magic array collapsed from exhaustion of mental strength.

Several god servants standing in the distance looked at Fang Heng, their brows tightly furrowed.

The scene they had expected—Fang Heng bleeding from all seven orifices and collapsing mentally—did not appear.

How was that possible?

Was that guy still holding on?

And he did not seem to be consuming much at all?

Just how terrifying was his mental strength?

Fang Heng stood at the center of the ritual magic array, frantically pouring mental strength into the formation beneath his feet. He raised his head and looked at the rapidly solidifying phantom over the distant sea.

Almost there...

The sea surface trembled violently!

Massive amounts of seawater gathered from all directions, spinning and accelerating, forming whirlpools dozens of meters in diameter. The whirlpools spun faster and faster until they turned into towering water pillars that shot straight into the night sky, circling the Sea God’s phantom.

"Boom!!!"

The water pillars exploded.

Countless droplets scattered in all directions, each one carrying terrifying force, turning into mist that filled the sea.

Within the mist, the massive Sea God phantom faded, while the terrifying pressure rapidly receded.

The seawater split on its own, revealing a deep abyss beneath the ocean.

Feng Tiya’s figure emerged from the depths.

Her blue serpent-like hair floated in the air, drifting within the sea mist.

Her eyes slowly opened, revealing deep blue pupils.

"Thud!"

It was unknown who started it first, but almost everyone on Sea God Island—including the priests, god servants, and even Island Lord Regin—knelt in worship.

"Greetings, Sea God!"

Xavier felt like he was going mad.

Sea God!

It really was the Sea God!

That madman had actually done it! He had truly summoned the Sea God!

Something that should have been impossible had actually happened right before their eyes.

How had he done it?

Xavier subconsciously looked toward Fang Heng from the corner of his eye.

What the hell!

Xavier’s pupils suddenly shrank to pinpoints, as if he had seen something unbelievable.

That guy!

He was still standing!

On the highest stone platform of the ritual site, Fang Heng was still standing upright, looking toward Feng Tiya from afar.

Had he gone insane? Did he dare to offend the authority of a god?

"He’s crazy..." A priest who was already prostrated on the ground whispered while glancing sideways. "Looking directly at the Sea God... that will bring God’s Punishment..."

The surrounding priests did not dare to speak.

The god servants also did not expect Fang Heng to actually succeed in summoning the Sea God, and all of them lowered their heads in worship.

Regin also noticed Fang Heng’s strange behavior, but he no longer had the time to think further. Gritting his teeth, he forced himself to raise his upper body under the pressure and deeply bowed toward Feng Tiya.

"Great Sea God! Your believer Regin welcomes your descent! Our island is under attack by false god believers. I beg you to protect your people!"

Feng Tiya completely ignored Regin. Her deep blue eyes focused on Fang Heng, and she frowned slightly, "Fang Heng?"

The entire place fell into dead silence.

Everyone lying prostrate on the ground thought they had misheard.

Fang Heng?

The Sea God had called out that young man’s name?

Wait, that person was called Fang Heng?

The same name as the false god’s believer?

The priests did not dare to lift their heads, but the god servants all looked at Fang Heng in confusion, completely unable to understand the situation.

"I’ve been looking for you for quite a while, but I couldn’t find you."

Fang Heng shrugged and spoke casually. "Had to use this method to get you out. A bit troublesome, but it worked."

Feng Tiya looked even more puzzled and asked, "You were looking for me?"

"There are some things I wanted to ask for your help with. If you don’t mind, how about we go somewhere else to talk?" Fang Heng smiled and paused before continuing, "I think the Underwater World would be nice."

Regin stood frozen, his mind blank as he watched Fang Heng casually chat with Feng Tiya.

He was supposed to be the Sea God Feng Tiya’s believer!

Why was Feng Tiya completely ignoring him?

And what exactly was Fang Heng’s identity?

Why was Fang Heng speaking to the Sea God as if they were just chatting?

Regin felt that all the shocks of his entire life combined were not as overwhelming as these few minutes.

For a moment, all his schemes felt like a joke.

"Alright. Follow me."

Feng Tiya raised her right hand lightly, and a finger traced slowly through the void.

"Whoosh!"

The sea surface ahead was split open down the middle by an invisible giant blade.

The two ocean walls rose dozens of meters high, their surfaces surging with deep blue tides, revealing a passage leading into the abyss of the sea.

Fang Heng nodded and was about to step forward when he suddenly stopped, turning to reach out toward the divine statue.

"Whoosh!!"

A magic array appeared beneath the divine statue, spinning rapidly. The entire statue suddenly burst with intense blue light.

"Crack crack crack..."

The divine statue trembled violently, and fine cracks appeared across its surface.

That madman!

What else did he intend to do to the divine statue?

Regin stared at Fang Heng with unwavering eyes.
