The blue panel showing the status of the Survivors wouldn’t last for long. There was only a 10-second timeframe before it was gone.
Because of that, Tomas moved quickly as he was also curious about Amer’s status.
He heard how Amer consumed several types of Gene Enhancement Serums and how he reached level 10, so he knew that he’d have an extraordinary status compared to them.

Tomas was able to enter the tent and realized that there were already seven people inside.
Still, his attention swiftly focused on the blue crystal at the center.

"Silent Dash..." Tomas repeated as he saw the Gene Skill.
With Amer’s Spirit Sense, his sensitivity to spiritual energy was leagues beyond theirs.
So it wasn’t really that surprising if he was able to obtain a Gene Skill. Still, Tomas and a few others couldn’t help but feel a little jealous.
"Let me try next!" Another man spoke.
Tomas recognized the man since he was also part of the construction group.
Based on their previous conversation, the last time he had checked, he was only Level 5 with only one passive skill, Hardy Constitution.
Over the past weeks, he had a few drops of Golden Liquid so he should have a decent level by now.

Leron was also unsure of the answer. Still, he felt like it was related to the fact that he had been exposed to a lot of the poison or the strange herbs that Aurora had been managing in the Freedom Shelter before.
’It must be related to that, but I’m not sure.’
Anyway, a few more Survivors continued checking, and aside from being two or three levels higher, there was only a slight increase in their Skill Mastery.
It was unlike Amer, who gained a new skill.
Soon, it was Tomas’ turn.
"Ohh... Tomas. We’ll wait for you. Let’s report our progress to Sir Kai together."

Just like that, the others waited for him as they needed to inform Kai or his representative about their new skill or any progress, so they could be given proper jobs depending on their stat.

The moment Tomas’s new status appeared, the tent filled with gasps.
"Level nine?! Your improvement is even better than mine!" Amer blurted out.
"He gained two active skills at once... Silent Breathing and Seven Silent Steps!" another said in disbelief.
The envy could be seen...
Tomas had gone from a sturdy frontline worker to someone with stealth techniques that most of them could only dream of.
"I didn’t know I had these skills... How am I supposed to use them?"
"Now that you know the, you just have to imagine it... Maybe call out the name of your skill in your mind..."
"What a pity... If I knew I had these skills, I wouldn’t struggle during the siege."
"Right... Sir Russel said that he didn’t know he was using his Roar Skill as well. It’s okay to not know you have a skill."
Tomans wryly smiled.
His Iron Skin had gotten better, and now he had Sharpshooter precision on top of it.
The others looked at him with a mix of admiration and frustration, wondering why their own progress hadn’t been as dramatic.
Tomas scratched the back of his neck, embarrassed by the attention. "It seems the serum I took works well with me. Right, it wasn’t just Alpha Gene Enhancement... it was Prime Gene Enhancement. Maybe that’s the reason. I guess I was compatible."
That explanation only fueled the envy further.
Several survivors exchanged glances, already considering whether they should request Prime Gene Enhancement Serums instead of the standard Alpha ones.
If Tomas could get new skills, then perhaps they could too.
Soon, the group left the tent together to make their report.
Outside Kai’s tent, they were surprised to see Sera waiting...
She still looked beautiful as ever.
"Are you here to report your progress?" She asked.
"Yes!"
"Let me hear about them instead." Sera said softly.
None of them rejected the idea, and soon, she received their report, even congratulating all eight of them for their progress.
Her words made them blush... There was pride mixed with embarrassment before they left quietly afterward.
Inside, Kai opened his tent flap and asked what had happened...
At this time, Sera noticed some changes in Kai’s pupil and recalled something...
"Have you reached Level 40?"
