Chapter 1014: Chapter 1012: The 18 Levels of Hell
Fengdu has clear laws and regulations; not causing trouble is one of them. Otherwise, even if you’re a General, you’ll still be punished.
However, the other party clearly didn’t care what White Impermanence said. The leading Chiliarch was furious, charged over without hesitation, and surrounded Chu Hao and the other man.
That Chiliarch Netherworld Soldier’s face was bruised and swollen. He roared, "Brat, I’ll make you regret this. Take him back to Hell."
White Impermanence thought Chu Hao would resist, but instead he said, "I’ll go with you."
White Impermanence was stunned.
"Bro, what are you trying to do?"
"Isn’t this Hai Mu very full of himself? I’ll go visit his territory and see just how cocky he really is." Chu Zhuangbi said arrogantly.
For some reason, White Impermanence actually started to worry a bit for this Chiliarch. Of all the people he could’ve provoked, he just had to provoke Chu Hao.
Hands and feet all locked with iron chains, Chu Hao was taken away like a prisoner.
Chu Hao glanced at the iron chains. The material of these chains was a special Underworld iron, forged specifically to restrain Ghosts.
Chu Hao looked quite interested and said, "Let’s go. Take me to see the Eighteen Layers of Hell."
The Chiliarch Netherworld Soldier sneered coldly. This brat was way too arrogant—what did he think the Eighteen Layers of Hell was?
A sightseeing spot?
Once you’re in there, you’ll be crying.
Chu Hao was escorted all the way to Fengdu’s official yamen, an office specially set up here to send some evil criminals to the Eighteen Layers of Hell.
The officials of the yamen froze when they saw the Chiliarch Netherworld Soldier—why was his face bruised and swollen?
However, he didn’t dare ask more. He greeted respectfully, "My lord."
The Chiliarch Netherworld Soldier said, "Open the prison gate."
In the depths of the yamen, a ten-meter-tall iron gate slowly opened.
A cold, dark aura surged out from inside the gate. Chu Hao was a bit curious and asked, "Does this lead to the Eighteen Layers of Hell?"
The Chiliarch was enraged. This brat was about to die and still looked like he was on a sightseeing tour.
"So much nonsense, move it."
They stepped through the giant iron gate.
The originally pitch-black gate, once stepped through, opened up to a bright view!
Chu Hao was shocked to find that they had appeared in front of a mountain gate. Here was a spiraling corridor leading downward.
And below, when you looked down, was an endless abyss. Piercing, miserable screams came from below, making one’s scalp tighten.
This abyss was way too big. Chu Hao couldn’t see what was on the other side at all.
Looking up, that was the sky of the Yin Realm.
The place they were in was clearly a massive Great Abyss.
This was the Eighteen Layers of Hell.
Chu Hao asked, "So the Eighteen Layers of Hell look like this? Nothing new, really."
One Netherworld Soldier couldn’t help saying, "You brat dare look down on the Eighteen Layers of Hell? You’ll suffer later."
They pressed down on Chu Hao and walked all the way down the corridor.
Chu Hao saw that there were prisons set around the corridor. Through the prisons’ huge iron gates, at a glance he could see that inside was its own little world.
He saw many Evil Ghosts being thrown into a huge oil cauldron.
Some hideous-looking Netherworld Soldiers held weapons in their hands. Whenever an Evil Ghost tried to climb out of the oil cauldron, they’d smack it back down into the cauldron.
Piercing, miserable screams.
Filled with despair.
These Evil Ghosts saw no hope at all, enduring the pain they deserved for the sins they had committed in their previous lives.
Even Chu Hao shuddered. Who could endure a punishment like this?
The Chiliarch Netherworld Soldier lifted his jaw high with a pained expression, roaring angrily, "First throw him into the oil cauldron and fry him once! Let him experience every torture in the Eighteen Layers of Hell one by one. Fuck your mother! You dare hit me?"
The surrounding Netherworld Soldiers looked at Chu Hao with a hint of pity.
Ordinary Evil Ghosts only had to endure one type of torture. Chu Hao, however, was about to suffer all of them.
There was no way he could last long.
Chu Hao said, "You really dare abuse your power over punishment?"
The Chiliarch Netherworld Soldier said arrogantly, "This is my turf. I do whatever I want."
"Throw him in for me."
The Netherworld Soldiers stepped forward, ready to take down Chu Hao.
All of a sudden, Yang Energy flared from Chu Hao’s body. The surrounding Netherworld Soldiers were stunned and backed away one after another.
They saw a scorching light on Chu Hao’s body, like raging flames, making them not want to go near.
"Ah!"
Some Netherworld Soldiers cried out in pain, their ghostly bodies almost catching fire.
"Y-you’re a living human?" The Chiliarch Netherworld Soldier looked horrified.
Indeed, after Chu Hao suppressed his living aura, he looked like a Ghost.
That was because he could alter his own aura at will.
Chu Hao sneered. Although there was no Yang Energy in the Yin Realm, his body was itself a massive Yang Energy storage device. The searing Yang Energy caused the chains on his hands and feet to start melting?
They were literally melting, like chocolate.
A crowd of Netherworld Soldiers stared, dumbfounded.
Chu Hao looked at them coldly and said, "Go on, keep at it. Let’s hurt each other."
"Ding... Host has successfully instilled fear while showing off, obtaining 9,000 Pretentiousness Points."
All the Netherworld Soldiers were so terrified they were almost kneeling.
They had never encountered a living human with such terrifying Yang Energy. This was ten times scarier than making them bask under the sun in the Yang Realm.
Chu Hao looked at the Chiliarch Netherworld Soldier and said, "You said you were going to throw me into the oil cauldron to fry me?"
The Chiliarch Netherworld Soldier was about to cry.
What kind of monster had he provoked?
This was the Yin Realm, yet he could release such terrifying Yang Energy—how was that even possible?
"I, I...!"
Chu Hao’s imposing body shook as he released even more terrifying Yang Energy.
At once, the Chiliarch in front of him screamed miserably, feeling as if he were surrounded by flames.
’No, it hurts, it hurts so much.’ This guy rolled on the ground, wailing and begging for mercy.
Chu Hao folded his arms and said, "You can’t even withstand one-tenth of this King of Show-offs’ Yang Energy. You really are pathetically weak."
This was the weakest Chiliarch Chu Hao had ever seen.
"I-I’m the General’s wife’s younger brother, don’t kill me. Let me go, the General will definitely give you benefits." The Netherworld Soldier cried out in fear.
Hai Mu’s wife’s younger brother—no wonder he could be a Chiliarch. Another one who climbed up via connections.
Chu Hao grabbed him and hung him right over the edge. Below was the endless Great Abyss.
Hai Mu’s wife’s younger brother was scared almost to the point of fainting.
If he was really thrown down, he’d definitely die.
The younger brother-in-law was so scared he almost pissed himself, begging, "I’m begging you, don’t do this."
Chu Hao sneered and said, "If I’d begged you just now, would you have let me go?"
The answer was—
No.
He loosened his hand, and the Chiliarch Netherworld Soldier plunged from high above into the depths of the Great Abyss.
You could still hear his screams as he fell, over and over. This Great Abyss was indeed very deep.
The other Netherworld Soldiers were all scared to the point of pissing themselves.
Chu Hao asked, "What’s down there in this Great Abyss?"
One Netherworld Soldier replied, trembling, "The end of the Eighteen Layers of Hell, reserved for imprisoning some very special Fierce Ghosts."
Chu Hao was curious and asked, "How special?"
"The deeper the level of the Eighteen Layers of Hell, the higher the rank of the Fierce Ghosts imprisoned, and the heavier the sins they committed. It’s said that there are even Fierce Ghosts that can’t be suppressed by the Eighteen Layers of Hell. They’re locked in the deepest depths of the Great Abyss, for all eternity."
Not even the Eighteen Layers of Hell can suppress them?
Chu Hao said, "Take me out of the Eighteen Layers of Hell."
The Netherworld Soldiers replied, trembling, "We don’t have the authority to enter and leave the Eighteen Layers of Hell. Only with the Jail Master’s written order can anyone go out."
Can’t even get out?
