After spending more than two months on Honkai Earth, maxing out the affection of many girls and reaching level 240, Nolan felt that his strength should be sufficient.
He decided to try using the hydromancy that Mona had studied for a long time to see if he could divine the location of his home planet, Earth.
Earlier, he had already used Citlali’s Affection Skill to choose an auspicious day, a day when his luck would be greatly increased and everything he did would go smoothly, and performed the divination then.
The result was extremely fortunate. He actually managed to divine Earth’s coordinates!

Of course, this wasn’t a major problem. With the virtual tracks guiding the direction and his infinite energy supply, Nolan could simply travel forward at full speed in a straight line without worrying about getting lost.
Based on his calculations, it would take roughly two to three years to reach Earth.
Obviously, that wasn’t a short amount of time. Nolan felt it might be better to spend some time increasing his level further and gaining more power before setting out, which might allow him to travel faster.
If at level 240 it took two to three years, then at level 250 it might only take two to three months, or even just a few days.
With that in mind, Nolan went to the Herta Space Station and once again asked Asta to help gather the locations of some Stellaron-contaminated zones.
Clearing those contaminated zones was the main source of his Adventure EXP. While there were many world bubbles, the speed at which they provided cultivation progress was relatively slow.
While waiting for Asta to organize the data, Nolan also encountered an invasion by a notorious organization known as the Annihilation Gang, specifically an entity called the "Duke of Inferno."
Who knew what it was thinking, believing that sending just a strand of spiritual flame would make it untouchable.
Nolan captured that invading wisp of flame, then used a bit of Emilie’s Affection Skill "Perfume Detective" to easily locate its true body, which was in a place called the "Everflame Mansion."
In an instant, he traversed space to the location of the Everflame Mansion and directly activated Guinaifen’s Affection Skill "True Name: Guinevere."
With indiscriminate mental suppression, everyone in the Everflame Mansion who had been going about their business one moment collapsed unconscious the next, with no possibility of resistance.
Nolan arrived at the main hall of the Everflame Mansion and saw five people lying unconscious. Perhaps they had been discussing something before collapsing.
Among the five, one had a head resembling a flaming goat skull, yet was dressed in a neat suit. Nolan had even seen its projection when he first entered the Sea of Quanta.
Clearly, it was the "Duke of Inferno," the master of the Everflame Mansion.
To the right in front of the Duke of Inferno, two figures had fallen. One was a man with silver-white hair wearing sunglasses. From the information obtained through the Affection Skill, Nolan learned that he was "The Tuner," Akash, one of the Duke’s adopted children. Beside him was "The Scribe," Dubra, who appeared as a young girl and was also one of his children.
The last two included a fiery-looking woman with red hair, known as "The Shackles," Caterina.
The other wore a wide white hat, had long black hair, and a pure white dress. From both sides of her head grew forward-curving black horns, and behind her extended a slender, heart-shaped tail. She looked somewhat like a succubus.
She was "Dahlia," Constance, also an adopted child of the Duke of Inferno, and possessed golden affection potential.
After thinking for a moment, Nolan used Command Seals to control them all. From now on, he would have them act as agents of justice, traveling across the galaxy to right wrongs and atone for their past sins.
At the same time, they could help him search for places where he could farm Adventure EXP.
One could only imagine the spectacle of the once Destruction-devoted Duke of Inferno now saving people across the galaxy.
After dealing with the group from the Everflame Mansion, Nolan prepared to leave. Before departing, however, he brought along Constance, the woman with golden affection potential.
He planned to keep her with him at the space station for a few days, max out her affection, and then let her go carry out acts of justice.
After returning to the space station, Nolan stayed there for a few days. During this time, he happened to run into Topaz again, who had come to discuss cooperation with Sserkal. He joined in on their negotiations as well.
At the same time, he had Sserkal deliberately prolong the discussion, allowing him to smoothly max out Topaz’s affection.
He obtained an Affection Skill called "Strategic Investment":
[Strategic Investment: You can invest in the future of a lifeform, including but not limited to wealth, knowledge, and special skills. In simple terms, he could invest something into anyone, and as they improved in that area, ten percent of their gains would be returned to him.
This skill was particularly suited for large-scale investment. If he invested a sword technique into one million people, and each of them improved their proficiency by ten points through training, then even with only ten percent returns, Nolan could max out that sword technique instantly!
Aside from unexpectedly encountering Topaz, he also successfully maxed out the affection of "Dahlia," Constance. Her Affection Skill was "Pure White Succubus," which passively increased Nolan’s charm and made it easier for him to gain the affection of others.
This effect was similar to some of his titles and other Affection Skills.
However, it also had a "stealth" effect. As long as he willed it, he could conceal all of his information, making it impossible to be detected by any means.
Finally, there was the ability "Never Defeated by Betrayal," which allowed him to sense others’ malicious intent toward him, and when facing situations that qualified as "betrayal," he would never lose, no matter what.
