Chapter 513: Travel
It means he has about a decade to reach a strength that he can take on any supreme, even the peak sixth-order supreme, and a century or so to face the almighty Sovereigns who dominated eras with their terrifying talent and strength.
If anybody heard Apollo’s thought, they would call him mad, a psycho not understanding the meaning of ’supreme’ and ’sovereign’, but he believed it was possible. Maybe extremely difficult but not entirely impossible for him.
Now, he already has a goal to achieve, but first he needs to find a way to hide his strength and improvement in front of the Creation list. So, he decided to see the creation list with his own eyes and see what it actually is.
He didn’t wait much as he spent a day with his family and left the very next day. He is also going to look around and see the changes of Rion with his own eyes.
He didn’t travel by tearing through space; he flew normally. Even then, his speed was faster than eternal gods.
The Fletcher family has increased many times, as it was bigger than kingdoms on the eastern continent. New cities were built and equipped with teleportation portals for faster and safer travels.
This just didn’t happen in Fletcher’s territory but almost all over the Rion. The current region was so large that even eternal God wouldn’t be able to travel one-tenth of the land even in decades.
He quickly crossed the Fletcher territory and made his way towards the new centre of Rion. After all five continents merged, everything changed.
The Fletcher family land can be said to be in the outer regions of the eastern side of New Rion. He needed to cross quite a distance to reach the centre of Rion.
There are still some empire remains, but mostly they all are at the outer regions, even if they had the backing of some powerful ancient clans. Like the previous strongest empire of the eastern continent, the Sacred Light Empire, with the backing of angels, they were still able to maintain their empire, but it wasn’t like before, where they almost controlled the continent.
Now they can only occupy a relatively large portion of the eastern outer region of Rion.
The central region was a completely different world.
Almost every inch of it was occupied by terrifying ancient clans ranked within the top thousand of the Creation List.
Each of those clans possessed an unfathomable foundation.
Every one of them had produced at least one Sovereign in the past.
Some had even given birth to multiple Sovereigns, proving the terrifying depth of their heritage.
So, when he entered the centre region, he needed to be careful not to use his spiritual senses randomly at different locations, as who knows what kind of monster is sleeping there?
He travelled freely while enjoying the change. He visited different cities which were filled with numerous warriors and full of prosperity.
Yet beneath that prosperity lurked danger.
In the current Rion, anyone below the Void God Realm rarely dared to leave the safety of a city.
Although the world had become richer in resources and opportunities, it had also become vastly more dangerous.
Bandits, rogue warriors, and powerful robbers roamed the wilderness, constantly searching for their next prey.
Many of them belonged to a previous era and somehow survived, but their family, clan or any friends were all dead. Nothing to lose; most of them became wanderers, robbers or something else.
He even heard they created some alliance, and it wasn’t weak. Although most of them survived due to luck, they still were strong, as without sufficient strength, luck was also meaningless. From what he heard, they are transcendents within them and even seem to have managed to latch onto some rogue supremes.
So, the situation outside the cities is still a mess. And just as he was travelling and about to reach the centre of Rion, he met with those bandits.
A group of ships appeared above him in the sky. The ships weren’t bad, as they were high-level divine ships that could take on attacks of eternal gods.
The moment they spotted Apollo flying alone through the sky, they immediately judged him to be an easy target.
Despite his astonishing speed, he had no visible guards.
No escorts.
No personal skyships.
To them, he looked like someone with no powerful backing. A lone sheep wandering into a pack of wolves.
Over the years, they had robbed countless such travellers and amassed enormous wealth. Now, seeing yet another seemingly isolated prey, they quickly surrounded him from every direction.
Although a single Eternal God was insignificant compared to the strength of their bandit fleet... Meat was still meat. And they had never been the type to let easy prey escape.
The leader of this group of bandits appeared as a middle-aged man with a half-step transcendent realm strength. He was tall and had a ferocious aura, making it look like he was a terrifying being.
"It’s just a single person send fourth and the fifth leader; don’t let him escape." He ordered sitting in the main command room on the skyship and looked outside. He expected it was just a regular day, but suddenly he felt a chill down to his spine.
Apollo slowly raised his head and glanced toward the skyship.
Those calm blue eyes pierced through the high-grade Divine Warship as though it didn’t exist. It felt as though every secret hidden within him had been completely exposed. He seemed to become completely naked in front of the prey, he thought.
He wanted to say something, as he was sure this was wrong. Something was very wrong about the guy, and I wanted to warn the fourth and fifth leaders to not go out. But he seemed to be frozen by mysterious power, unable to move or say something.
At that moment, he felt like a fish lying helplessly on a chopping board.
Meanwhile, the fourth and fifth leaders stepped out of the warship, their killing intent surging as they prepared to crush Apollo. But from the beginning to end he didn’t look at the two.
"Silence."
His calm voice echoed through the sky.
Instantly, the terrifying aura of the two peak Eternal Gods vanished completely, as though it had never existed.
The two of them froze where they stood.
Not only could they no longer circulate their power... They couldn’t even move a single finger.
Without another glance, Apollo simply walked toward the skyship.
