Chapter 125: The Primordial Kings

Lady Moonveil arrived soon after.

A powerful force of heaven and earth pressed down within the mountain. Even before she drew close, she could feel its vast, overwhelming weight.

This was not a mountain ordinary cultivators could shake.

Deep shock filled her eyes.

"Was this truly done by the Divine Firmament Heir?"

"Absolutely!"

Lady Moonveil could hardly believe it.

As one of the geniuses of the younger generation, she had never imagined the gap between herself and the Divine Firmament Heir would be this enormous.

If Torin could be suppressed by a single palm strike, then she likely would not fare much better.

Whether Worldbinder Layer 5 or Worldbinder Layer 9, before this power of heaven and earth, there was no real difference.

"Let me try."

A Paragon Realm wandering cultivator stepped forward. Seeing that no one could move the mountain and that Torin remained trapped within it in despair, he refused to believe it was impossible.

He took out a great seal and poured all his strength into it before smashing it toward the mountain.

"This is a Celestial Grade Arcane Relic. Forget this mountain, it has more than enough power to flatten the entire hundred thousand mountains. Everyone move aside!"

Boom!

The Paragon Realm cultivator attacked with full confidence.

The seal struck the mountain suppressing Torin.

Then came a deafening thunderclap.

The seal flew backward.

The mountain did not move in the slightest.

"Ouch!"

The Paragon cultivator recalled the seal, only to find that a chunk had broken off.

His heart ached so badly that he cried out in regret.

Even a Paragon Realm cultivator using a Celestial Grade Divine Armament could do nothing.

As for the others, there was no need to even try.

Either an Immortal Realm cultivator had to make an attempt, or someone had to bring out a Sovereign Relic.

Torin sighed.

"Looks like I’m really going to be suppressed here for ten years."

Alex drew his sword and struck.

Clang!

The sword light shattered.

The mountain remained unmoved.

Alex said, "At least no one else can break this mountain open and harm you. Wait here. I’ll ask Master for help."

"Wait!"

Torin said decisively, "I lost this match fair and square. I accept the result. Don’t make Master come here and lose face over this. It’s only ten years. A blink of an eye."

"..."

Alex thought for a moment, then nodded.

"If that is your wish."

He looked at the mountain.

It was not only Torin who had been suppressed.

This mountain had suppressed the entire younger generation of the Celestial Arc Realm.

The Divine Firmament Heir had been silent for years, but the moment he acted, he shook the world.

From now on, this mountain would likely become an insurmountable pass in the hearts of countless prodigies.

Inside the forbidden land.

Mountains and rivers lay ruined.

The earth was desolate.

Endless ruins stretched for thousands of miles.

Terrifying ravines crisscrossed the land.

Ancient bloodstained war banners fluttered in the wind, carrying a vast and desolate aura.

Broken weapons and shattered Arcane Relics were scattered everywhere, along with the bones of cultivators who had died within the forbidden land.

They had come from countless different eras.

Caelum walked across the ruined land.

The divine ability of the hidden vault at his forehead manifested.

His eyes pierced falsehood and saw through all things, unaffected by the forbidden land’s strange power.

"Hm?"

He let out a soft sound of surprise, then turned toward another direction.

The smell of blood filled the air.

Corpses soon appeared before him.

Every one of them wore a twisted expression and had died a miserable death, as if they had encountered something horrifying before dying.

Caelum examined them carefully.

He actually recognized their origin.

"Astral Hall."

More than that, they were the same group that had entered the forbidden land not long ago.

Many of them were probably players.

Looking ahead, he saw a lone figure standing amid the corpses, drenched in blood, sword in hand.

The man clearly belonged to Astral Hall.

His eyes were blood red.

His face was twisted with abnormal excitement.

In his hand was an ancient hide scroll covered in what seemed to be scripture.

The moment he noticed Caelum, he was startled.

Without a word, he rode his sword and fled.

Caelum did not bother investigating what had happened there.

He took out the fragment he had bought from the old stall owner and studied it for a moment.

Then he activated his hidden vault divine ability and launched it forward.

The fragment turned into a streak of light and flew into the depths of the forbidden land.

Caelum followed close behind.

He did not know whether this method would work, but it was worth trying.

The streak of light rushed onward.

Caelum plunged deep into the forbidden land.

When he passed a burial mound, strands of ominous black aura drifted through the air.

Decay and ruin filled the world.

The instant Caelum stepped into the graveyard, something changed.

Bang!

A figure wrapped in ominous black mist erupted from the ground.

Its eyes burned with a desperate hunger for life as it lunged at Caelum.

The shadow laughed madly.

"Hahahaha! I can finally live another life..."

Boom!

Caelum paid it no mind.

With a single palm strike, he drove the shadow back into the burial mound, along with the entire graveyard, crushing it deep into the earth.

These were nothing more than lingering souls and obsessions left behind after being affected by the ominous aura of the Primordial Kings.

Such corruption was certainly dangerous.

But danger depended on where it appeared.

And whom it provoked.

Within the Celestial Arc Realm, Caelum could suppress it with a wave of his hand.

A short while later, the fragment stopped before an extremely ominous black mountain.

The surrounding ground was littered with broken Divine Armaments and Arcane Relics covered in markings similar to those on the fragment.

Clang.

The fragment fell to the ground.

The crisp sound was especially sharp in that dead silence.

"This should be the place."

Caelum stepped forward.

The hidden vault divine ability at his forehead saw through everything.

Then his gaze locked onto the interior of the ominous black mountain.

Without warning, he struck out with his palm and blasted the entire mountain away.

Boom!

Beneath the black mountain was an eerie altar.

Four bronze chains bound an old man to it.

His face was withered like a dried corpse.

The commotion jolted the old man awake.

The moment he opened his eyes, he saw Caelum standing right in front of him.

Without the slightest courtesy, Caelum raised his fist and smashed it down on his head.

"Old thing, here’s your greeting gift."

Boom!

Caught completely off guard, the withered old man was stunned by the punch.

Then he reacted.

At a glance, he recognized Caelum’s Divine Physique.

In an instant, hatred accumulated over countless ages erupted into an earthshaking roar.

"Worldbreaker Divine Physique!"

Boom!

That roar caused the entire forbidden land to erupt.

Terrifying phantoms awakened from slumber one after another.

Even under the suppressive force of the forbidden land, they forced their projections to appear before Caelum.

If one asked whom the Primordial Kings hated most, the answer was obvious.

The first Worldbreaker Divine Physique.

There was no second place.

The Ancient Celestial Court had suppressed the forbidden lands and ended the Primordial Age.

But the Worldbreaker Divine Physique had personally slaughtered the Primordial Kings.

He had cut off their heads one by one and piled their corpses into mountains of blood.

No matter how many ages passed, that hatred remained carved into their bones.

Caelum knew perfectly well about the blood feud between the Worldbreaker Divine Physique and the Primordial Kings.

That was why he had never planned to be polite.

When meeting these people, slapping them first was the correct approach.

Terrifying phantoms stood in the void, as though their presence alone could crush heaven and earth.

Caelum showed no fear.

His battle intent surged higher and higher.

The divine phenomena of his hidden vaults appeared around him.

The Perfect Grand Cycle drew upon the suppressive power of the forbidden land.

Caelum stood proudly against the terrifying phantoms of the forbidden land.

These were the Primordial Kings buried within Eternal Vale.

He reached out and decisively summoned Bladeleaf.

Facing the Primordial Kings, Caelum’s spirit soared.

"If this were the Infinite Realms, I wouldn’t dare provoke you."

"But here?"

"What can you do to me?"
