Chapter 397: We Will Meet Again!

[Unknown Prison.]

BAM!!!!

The bedrock of the prison groaned under an unimaginable weight. Julian slowly raised his head toward the sky of his eternal confinement, watching in grim silence as the massive sixth sun violently cracked and shattered into a million burning shards. Only five glowing orbs remained, but there was absolutely no joy or triumph on his face.

"You felt it too, right?" The colossal Hydra forward from the gloom, bringing out one of its massive, scaled heads to look directly at Julian.

"Although the mark I placed on her was forcefully sealed by her mother, this so much uncontained rage... I can feel it echoing through me." He stood up from his stone seat, his piercing golden eyes instantly glowing a volatile, blood-red hue.

"Do you want to break out and go to her?! The strength of the seals holding you back is now significantly weakened."

"No... She can handle this." He said softly, his voice a low, terrifying rumble as he forced himself to sit back down, tightly controlling his escalating rage.

"Handle this? She literally destroyed your seal without even knowing it! If she continues to exert this much raw, unbridled destruction—"

The Hydra abruptly froze mid-sentence, its instincts flaring as Julian shot him a lethal, unblinking glare from the side of his eyes. The ancient Primordial dragon had been chained alongside the young man for thousands of years, and in that fleeting moment of panic, it had actually forgotten exactly what kind of terrifying monster was trapped inside this prison with him.

"I don’t care!" Julian stated, his voice clipping with an absolute, terrifying conviction. "Even if she completely destroys the entire second world! As long as I can finally get out from here, I will protect her with absolutely everything I have... Even if the totality of the four worlds are turned against her, I will stand by her side until the end." He fiercely clenched his fists, the stone beneath his boots shattering into fine dust.

"Once I get out of here, I will locate her first... Try to stabilize our relationship, and then focus my full attention on these annoying pests." He vowed, the raw malice in his voice causing the great Hydra to lower its massive head, bowing in absolute agreement.

[Third World — Marriott’s Hidden Chamber.]

Deep within the subterranean catacombs of the Third World, the undead skeleton’s true main body slowly opened its glowing crimson eyes from its deep meditation.

’She actually destroyed my separate clone body with a single strike?’ The skeleton calculated, its ancient consciousness reeling:

’That separate body possessed the exact strength of a seventh Star. Matching her current strength with the higher worlds’ definitive ranking system, she should be at the fifth star stage. Defeating a seventh Star while being a mere fifth star... She must have used a method to boost her physical strength, and even gain pure divine energy.’

The skeleton exhaled a hollow sigh of wind, lost in deep thought:

’Should I attack again? But I cannot enter the lower realms with my strength. Not only that, she completely destroyed the Abyss and forcibly removed one primary seal from Julian’s prison... I must report this anomaly back to the King.’ It closed its hollow eyes, sending a high-priority, telepathic message across the dimensions to its ruler.

The very next moment, a grand, majestic voice echoed directly inside its mind, vibrating its skull.

["Stay where you are in the Third World... With only five seals remaining, Julian can now technically bypass the absolute seal, but he can only do so with a mere 10% of his full, terrifying strength. At that suppressed level, he won’t be able to enter the dense spatial layers of the first and second worlds, but he can easily enter the third. Although he possesses the theoretical capability to also enter the fourth world, he won’t make that fatal mistake with me actively standing here... So remain stationed in the Third World. Sooner or later, the golden Angel clan’s heir will also inevitably arrive at that world. As for Mirabella... Hmmm, her situation is entirely different. I will personally get back to you on her destiny."]

The skeleton slowly listened to every single word of the decree, and respectfully nodded its bare head: "I understand completely, My King." It whispered into the dark, closing its eyes once more to await the changing of the eras.

[Lamashtu’s Faction Headquarters.]

"So many shifting events occurring in the span of just one month." The Dark Queen Lamashtu murmured, her fingers tracing the edge of an obsidian map. "And now, Julian’s seal is fifty percent weakened; should I be happy or not? We also discovered the legendary Sun family has an active, living Heir. The threat of the Angel clan’s revival was already more than enough to disrupt the balance, and now, that powerful family is boldly showing their faces again."

She sighed softly, a dangerous, beautiful expression crossing her features as she turned her piercing gaze to her elite generals: Angra Mainyu, Viper, and Konkus.

"Get ready, my trusted Generals... Soon, we will be welcoming the absolute convergence of the second world into our domain. All of you must drastically increase your combat strength before this year runs out!" She commanded, a highly anticipating, radiant smile forming on her beautiful face.

"We Obey! Great Queen!!"

The three formidable generals yelled in unison, their voices echoing with fanatical devotion as they deeply bowed their heads before her throne.

[Back To Mirabella — Sword Empire Capital.]

The space directly above the grand capital city violently tore open, and a swirling, unstable spatial gateway materialized at the absolute outer edge of the Capital’s airspace.

The Guardians, the members of the Ghost Guild, Hayatobi, and the handful of surviving frontline soldiers moved out of the rift, landing heavily on the Capital’s huge, fortified stone defense wall. They stared in paralyzed horror at the two towering figures suspended in the sky, listening intently to the raw, sorrowful words bleeding from Mirabella’s lips.

"Bella... You... How could you?" Mirabella whispered, her voice cracking as she clenched her golden armor-clad fist, her glowing eyes fixed entirely on the severed head inside the floating box. "Such a sweet, innocent girl... How could you look at her and kill her?!!"

"What can I say? I absolutely love beautiful and rich food..." Nadia answered with a sickening, mocking tilt of her head, completely reveling in her agonizing despair:

"She was indeed highly special, uniquely possessing the three bloodlines of the Mage, Priest, and Healer all at once. She was, quite literally, the ultimate support member a team could ever ask for... Oh well, too bad." She added, casually shrugging her shoulders as if discussing a discarded meal.

’System! Can’t you do anything?!! Reverse time! Reanimate her! Anything!?!’ Mirabella screamed internally.

{Sorry Host, The target has been dead for a significant duration of time. The soul has entirely dispersed. I cannot perform any restorative action.}

Mirabella exhaled a shuddering breath, her chest heaving violently as her heart beat so fast it felt as though it would shoot straight out from her chest. The absolute limits of human grief and divine wrath were blurring into a single, localized apocalypse.

"Nadia!! I will—"

"—Yes, you will inevitably kill me. I know that very well by now," Nadia cut her off smoothly, her broken voice dripping with venom:

"But I won’t give you that pathetic satisfaction today... Mirabella, if you truly want to kill my real self, meet me in the fourth world!! My true name? I am Hel. You can locate my absolute domain in the fourth world; my territory is known across reality as Helheim! I will be waiting for you there. If you don’t come to me, I promise you, I will personally find you."

As the ominous words left her lips, her chest piece suddenly started glowing with an unstable, highly concentrated red light that warped the surrounding atmosphere.

"This is bad!! She is about to aggressively explode her core!!!" Hayatobi yelled in pure shock from the defense wall.

"A master teacher exploding her core right in the dead center of a populated imperial city!!! Thousands of innocent people will die instantly!!!" Nita yelled frantically, and without a second thought, she shot forward through the sky alongside the guardians to erect a barrier.

"Defend the people! Keegan!" Hayatobi roared, flaring his own energy as he shot forward into the blast radius, with Keegan following right behind him to mitigate the shockwave.

"We Will Meet Again, Mirabella!" Nadia screamed, her laughter echoing like shattered glass.

BOOOOM!!!!!

Nadia’s core violently exploded outward with the concussive force of a localized nuclear strike. The blinding, apocalyptic red explosion instantly enveloped everyone and everything in the sky, including the frozen, grieving Mirabella, completely wiping out all the massive stone buildings and imperial architecture in the entire vicinity in a single, devastating split-second.
