Chapter 372: The Demon’s Authority!

Mirabella stared at the three, letting the heavy silence linger for a moment as the reality of the Second Level hung over them, and exhaled: "Lord Hayatobi will explain everything to you in the academy." She repeated, her voice leaving absolutely no room for further debate, and snapped her fingers, as the glowing map vanished into thin air.

She opened her palm again, tapping into her inventory. A blinding, divine light flooded the observation deck, and a full set of God rank set appeared before her, including a huge, archaic sword and a massive, impenetrable tower shield:

"This is my reward from the competition... Today, I am giving it to..."

Everyone looked at one another in palpable tension, the sheer pressure of the artifacts making the air heavy, and automatically turned to Carl, expecting him to receive the spoils.

"Kent."

".....?!!"

They all violently turned their heads to the muscular guy among them, stunned speechless by the massive deviation in expectations.

"Really?!" Kent asked in sheer shock, staring at the glowing artifacts that radiated an aura of absolute defense. God-rank items were national treasures, items that could elevate a commoner to the status of a one-man army.

"Yes." Mirabella nodded her head, her eyes reflecting the shimmering metal:

"You are a knight, and in the future, you will be one of our strongest vanguard. A powerful armor is good." She said.

"Thank you, Mirabella!! No!" He stood up sharply, his posture shifting from a bewildered student to a loyal sworn shield; "From now on, you’re Guild Leader Mirabella!!" He yelled, stepping forward and passionately hugging the heavy, rune-carved armor plate.

"Alright." Mirabella gently nodded her head, acknowledging his loyalty, as Kent reverently stored the priceless artifacts into his spatial storage.

"Kent already have a complete set of God rank artifacts, you guys are left... After we graduate, you will all receive yours." She promised casually, speaking of God class gears as if they were mass-produced weapons, and snapped her fingers again:

"We only have Carl, Rose, David, and Hitachi, who could gain skills from scrolls."

BOOM!

80 legendary class scrolls violently appeared before them, hovering in the air and radiating intense, multi-colored elemental energy, completely stunning the group:

"Each of you, take twenty skills each... I want your arsenal to change completely... If you can, use the skill scroll, and upgrade your current skill. Only Hitachi, and Rose can achieve this due to their eyes." She added, referencing the ability of their unique genetic bloodlines.

"How did you even know that?" Rose asked instantly, looking up at her with narrowed eyes. The specific mechanics of ocular upgrading were fiercely guarded clan secrets, undocumented in any public academy library.

"I just know things." Mirabella shrugged, her expression an impenetrable mask.

Rose slowly nodded her head, completely unconvinced but knowing better than to press the issue: ’Just know things? This is a well hidden secret. Who really are you, Mirabella?’ She thought, storing her share in her storage.

BOOOOM!!!!

"...?!!"

The whole structural foundation of the towering Galaxy Tower trembled violently beneath their feet, the massive, catastrophic explosion completely shocking the group.

"What happened?!!"

They all instantly jumped to their feet, rushing to the railing, staring at the sprawling metropolis. At the direct center of the glowing city was a huge, fiery explosion, rising high into the night air like a blooming lotus of destruction.

"That is the hospital." Grace gasped, her hands flying to her mouth.

"Wait, aren’t the students from the other Academies taking treatment there?" Precious asked in deep shock.

"Someone attacked it!! Let’s go." Austin declared.

Mirabella calmly raised one hand, her aura instantly freezing the air, and stopping Austin and the group in place:

"Why should we go and help?" She asked, casually resting on the metal railing with her back turned to the burning skyline.

".....?!"

The group stared at her in profound surprised, completely failing to comprehend her chilling apathy.

"I think I know who is attacking the hospital." She added, her voice devoid of any warmth.

"Who?!"

They all asked in unified panic and anger.

Mirabella looked at them coldly, judging their attachments: "Do you seriously want to help those from the other Academies?" She asked, reminding them that just hours ago, those very students had been their mortal enemies in the arena.

"Of course! They’re still humans!" Austin yelled fiercely, his fist clenched tight with righteous indignation.

"First protect yourselves, before helping others." She smiled softly at them, a weary smile that carried the weight of a betrayed life, her words completely stunning them in place.

WHOOSH!!!!

They all violently blinked, snapped out of their moral debate as countless airborne attacks of different, lethal elements—blades of wind, spears of ice, and spheres of volatile lightning—flew directly towards the observation tower from the shadows of the night sky.

BOOOOM!!!

The whole top of the Galaxy Tower exploded into absolute ruins, filling the air with jagged shrapnel and thick, choking smoke.

"Did we kill them?" A dark figure in stealthy Ninja outfits asked, hovering in the sky and staring down at the thick dusts, waiting for the smoke to clear before seeing 12 glowing, perfectly intact orbs of defensive lights.

"Barriers?"

The airborne attackers were utterly stunned, realizing their coordinated bombardment had failed to inflict a single casualty.

Mirabella casually waved her hand, manipulating the wind currents and instantly dispersing the heavy dusts, completely revealing the two hundred elite Ninjas all over the air.

"This tower is right outside the city... You kids have no way to hide!!!" One of the masked men yelled, drawing a serrated poison blade.

Mirabella moved her icy gaze around the floating executioners: "You see, the Hospital isn’t the only place under attack... They are also here to kill us." She muttered, completely unfazed.

"What?! These guys, all two hundred of them are all Lv400." Hitachi muttered in absolute disbelief, identifying their terrifying combat levels as his eyes shifted, revealing his celestial eyes.

"Seems we have to kill them first." Rose muttered coldly, as her eyes turned pure white.

"Hahaha! That’s not difficult! I might be Lv300, but I can take on a Lv400." Austin laughed aloud, a battle-crazed grin spreading across his face as violent flames burst out from his hand, the thermal heat rising as his red hair turned fully white in his awakened state.

"Oh well, seems we can’t do anything, but to fight." Carl said calmly, his standard blonde hair instantly turning radiant golden, his human blue eyes taking its terrifying, divine golden color as his Angelic bloodline flared to life.

"I will also join in!" Grace said, stepping out of the shadows as dense, suffocating dark energy enveloped her entire body, and she seamlessly transformed into her terrifying dark mage form.

"I so want to try my new armor!!" Kent yelled excitedly, as his newly acquired god class artifacts violently appeared on his body, the heavy, rune-forged metal enclosing him fully, leaving only two glowing eyes visible through the visor. The massive shield and archaic sword appeared firmly on both hands, turning him into an impenetrable fortress.

"Wait! These guys! Are they students from Dragon academy?" One hovering Ninja asked in sudden shock, recognizing the faces and the terrifying auras erupting before them.

"What the hell?!! Why are we attacking them?! The Leader said we should avoid them!!" The assassin’s commander screamed, realizing they had been fed entirely faulty intelligence.

"I didn’t know, they were kids, and I thought they’re weak!!"

"You mad man!!! That blue hair and blue eyes girl!! Isn’t that the Blue eyes demon!!!" Another assassin yelled in absolute, soul-crushing horror, staring directly at Mirabella. The moniker she had violently earned during the tournament sent shivers down their spines.

"Blue eyes demon... Nice name." Mirabella said, acknowledging the terrifying title. She slowly raised a single hand towards the sky, and effortlessly snapped her fingers.

Instantly, overriding all magical defenses, evasion stats, and physical armor, all the vital health points of the 200 high-level men vanished completely from their bodies, drained and merging seamlessly with her own endless reserves.

"...?!!!!"

"HUH?!!"

"WTF?!!"

"...?!!"

Before her entirely stunned guild members, who were already fully powered up and ready to fight a desperate, bloody battle for their lives, all the two hundred elite assassins simply dropped from the sky like lifeless stones, all hitting the ruined ground, dead. Not a single spell was cast; not a single blade was swung.

"Done." Mirabella said flatly, lowering her hand as if she had just swatted a fly.

"....?!!!!!"
