Saint Gabriel’s roar was no longer human.

The gigantic demon breathed violently.

He didn’t answer.

He no longer seemed capable of speaking.

Nox spun both daggers.

The monster vanished.

He was simply absurdly fast.

Danger Sense exploded inside Nox’s mind.

He leaped to the side.

The demon tore straight through the spot where he had been standing.

Black chains erupted automatically from the ground.

They tried to wrap around the giant body.

The demon passed underneath him.

And crashed straight into one of the walls.

Chunks of stone began falling from the ceiling.

Misty barely managed to lift her head from the floor.

Nox watched the enormous demon rise to his feet.

’How the hell am I supposed to fight that?’

He felt as though he were facing an enemy completely beyond his reach.

He raised Ashbringer.

He fired.

An Ash Bullet struck the monster squarely in the chest.

Then another.

And another.

The giant body barely staggered a few centimeters with each impact.

It grabbed both of the demon’s legs.

The cat’s claws continued restraining the monster.

Audrey appeared from the side.

Her bow of dark energy had already fully formed.

She released the string.

The arrow sliced through the air.

It struck one of the enormous horns directly.

The horn flew off.

Gabriel roared in pain.

Black blood poured down the side of his head.

Nox smiled.

"Nice shot."

He didn’t waste the opportunity.

He activated Grand Hunter’s Agility.

Wind Legs.

And appeared above the demon.

The Demonic Dual Knives carved across the monster’s entire back.

Black wounds spread through his flesh.

Demonic flames engulfed the injuries.

Nox landed several meters away.

He waited.

Nothing.

Gabriel simply stood back up.

As though he felt absolutely nothing.

The black flames continued burning him.

But he seemed to ignore them.

The monster slowly turned.

And looked at Nox once again.

Those eyes no longer held any intelligence.

He tried once more.

Dark chains burst from the floor.

Dozens of chains wrapped around the monster’s arms, legs, neck, and torso.

The demon was completely restrained.

Three seconds.

CRAAAAAAAAACK.

Every single chain exploded.

Links flew throughout the hall.

One even pierced a stained-glass window.

Another embedded itself into a pillar.

Nox instinctively stepped backward.

The monster took one step.

Then another.

Each footfall made the floor tremble.

The demon looked at his companions.
