Li Yang poured the liquid into two bowls and brought them to Li Guohai and Zhao Rou. He smiled and said, "Dad, Mom, this medicinal herb will help you recover. Go on and drink up."

Li Guohai and Zhao Rou had no hesitation about drinking something their own son had prepared, so they downed it in one go.
Nearby, Zhao Qianxing watched with longing, his heart filled with immense desire. ’I wish he’d offer me a sip,’ he thought.
However, Li Yang didn’t so much as glance at him the entire time.
After drinking the concoction, Li Guohai and Zhao Rou felt a pleasant warmth spread through their bodies. The feeling of weakness that had plagued them surprisingly vanished.
"Yangyang, what kind of medicinal herb was that? I feel re-energized," his mother, Zhao Rou, asked in amazement.
Li Guohai smiled. "I feel it too."
Seeing his parents’ joy, a smile spread across Li Yang’s face. "I brought it back from the Celestial Origin Palace," he said.
Then he added, "Oh, right. Dad, Mom, my uncle called me earlier. He said our family should come over for dinner now that I’m back. I’ve already been in touch with him."
His uncle, Li Guoyang, and his family were overjoyed to hear about Li Guohai’s recovery. However, Li Yang had gone to the island right after returning home, a fact for which Li Guoyang had given him a mild scolding. He’d said that with his parents just back, Li Yang should be at home keeping them company instead of running all over the place.
Of course, Li Yang had no intention of telling his uncle’s family anything about his cultivation.
As far as everyone else was concerned, Li Guohai’s recovery was undoubtedly thanks to Li Yang buying the Anticancer Agent. After all, Li Yang had earned over a hundred million, which was more than enough to purchase a dose.

Li Yang completely ignored them, showing no reaction at all. Zhao Rou, however, stood up to see them out. Li Guohai merely watched them leave without a word, his face impassive, and stayed right by Zhao Rou’s side.
Once the door was closed, Li Yang’s family started getting ready to go to Li Guoyang’s house.
While Zhao Rou was out buying a few things, Li Yang looked at Li Guohai and asked, "Dad, are we just going to let the Zhao family stay here indefinitely?"
Given his temper, he would have told Zhao Qianxing and Zhao Kun to get lost and never come back.
But when he had come home and seen his mother talking with Zhao Qianxing, he had held his tongue.
Li Guohai shook his head and sighed. "Yangyang, I don’t like the Zhao family either. I know they used to wish I was dead."
He knew it all. If it weren’t for his son, Zhao Qianxing and Zhao Kun wouldn’t have given him the time of day.
"But it’s best to just keep these feelings to ourselves. In our family, the one who’s really in the most difficult position is your mother."
Zhao Rou was truly the one in the toughest spot. On one side was her own kin, and on the other, her husband and child. She was always caught in the middle. Even after everything the Zhao family had done, she couldn’t bring herself to truly hate them and sever all ties.
Li Yang fell silent.
Li Guohai patted Li Yang’s shoulder and smiled. "Yangyang, you are your own person. You don’t have to worry about how your mother and I act toward the Zhao family."
Because of Zhao Rou, even though he detested the Zhao family, he had to suppress it. He didn’t want to see her upset.
"I know, Dad," Li Yang nodded.
’No matter what, his attitude toward the Zhao family would never change. He would never set foot in their home, ever!’
