Chapter 413: Chapter 413 - Twelve vs. Four
Atlas placed his focus at its absolute peak. Everything sharpened. Every sense within him fully awakened, as if every cell in his body had become an eye, able to perceive in all directions at once.
At this point, Atlas was no longer relying on his vision. His eyes could not keep up with the brutal speed of this battle anymore.
He closed his eyes.
He spun his spear and clenched his teeth as three Bolins charged at him simultaneously from different directions.
Atlas rotated his spear and blocked. A heavy impact exploded outward. He twisted his body immediately after, narrowly evading another attack from the side.
His movements were impossibly smooth. Every rapid strike from Bolin missed by the smallest margin, each violent gust of force brushing past his body.
Atlas leaned left as a crushing punch grazed the right side of his head, clipping his ear.
He shot upward into the sky, his body surging with lightning, and opened his eyes once more.
With a sharp motion, Atlas commanded dozens of swords and spears to spin around him at extreme speed. He then lunged toward one of the Bolins positioned to the side.
Suddenly, a surge of green energy wrapped around Atlas’s body.
A massive tree formed above him in an instant, towering and radiant, casting brilliant light across the battlefield. Its leaves shot outward, slicing through the air toward the ongoing fight.
"Lyrassa?"
In the next moment, Lyrassa twisted gracefully through the air and appeared behind Atlas.
"I saw that you might need my help, my lord," she said calmly.
"With pleasure. Twelve versus two still sounds reasonable," Atlas replied.
But then, shadow energy began to swirl violently nearby as another presence emerged.
A woman with long black hair appeared, her bat-like shadow wings spreading wide behind her, a long scythe resting firmly in her grasp.
"What about three versus twelve?" she said with a faint smile.
Morganna had joined the battle.
Atlas gave a faint smile when he saw Morganna join the fight.
Without wasting a single word, Morganna shot forward at extreme speed, her scythe flashing as she carved through one side of the battlefield. Almost instantly, four Bolins surrounded her, attacking at once.
Above them, the Azure Dragons were struck by razor sharp leaves raining down from the sky, while Lyrassa darted through the air, evading every attack aimed at her with fluid grace.
Atlas surged forward again, attacking with brutal force as he collided head on with his enemies.
Massive explosions erupted. Thunderous impacts echoed endlessly through the sky.
The battle raged on in complete chaos. Forms were no longer clearly visible. Everything moved too fast. Blinding flashes of light, violent detonations, and deafening shockwaves filled the battlefield without pause.
Then, at one critical moment, Morganna unleashed a flurry of savage strikes. Her hand movements were completely invisible, her attacks landing relentlessly.
The Bolin in front of her raised both arms, desperately blocking as he was cut again and again.
"Kill this one!" Morganna shouted.
Other Bolin duplicates rushed toward her, but thick green vines suddenly wrapped around them, binding their movements and stopping them in place.
And in that very moment, something brilliant and overwhelming streaked in from the distance.
The Lance of Dawn.
Elyndra descended at incredible speed, guiding the massive lance of radiant light straight toward them.
Atlas lunged forward at the same time, striking toward Bolin. The old man blocked, only to be assaulted from two sides at once.
In that razor thin instant, the massive Lance of Dawn pierced forward, driving straight toward Bolin.
He raised his hands, catching the tip of the lance with raw force.
Morganna continued cutting down the other Bolins who tried to close in.
Lyrassa, from above, controlled the battlefield, restricting their movements even further.
Atlas flashed forward and swung.
Both of Bolin’s arms were severed in a single clean motion.
In that same split second, the Lance of Dawn drove fully into Bolin’s body. Even its tip alone was enough to leave him frozen in midair, unable to move.
Atlas slammed his spear to the side and stood upright beside Bolin’s rigid form, his eyes wide and his mouth hanging open in shock.
Morganna, Lyrassa, and Elyndra hovered nearby, surrounding the scene in silence.
Atlas kept his gaze averted, never once turning to face Bolin directly.
"Say it," he said calmly. "This is truly the end, isn’t it? Show me more of those cheap tricks from your so-called SSS Rank ability."
"H how..." Bolin spoke, blood pouring heavily and soaking into his white beard. His face had gone pale.
"How did you grow this fast," he whispered, his voice trembling.
"Thanks to you," Atlas replied. "You were the push that forced us to grow this quickly." He smirked faintly.
At the same time, Atlas’s energy began to fade. The shadow power dispersed, the golden lightning died down, and the helmet dissolved, revealing his face and black hair once more.
He returned to his normal armor. Even the spear vanished from his hand. Still, he remained standing atop the transparent platform in the air.
"I cannot accept this. I cannot lose like this," Bolin said again, his voice growing weaker with each word.
At that very moment, a series of system messages appeared before Atlas, confirming his victory in this battle.
The leader of the opposing alliance had been defeated.
Bolin’s body began to fracture, pixel-like energy breaking away from him as his form rapidly unraveled.
"I will not die like this..." his voice echoed faintly.
Then, the old man’s figure vanished completely.
Atlas let out a relieved smile and turned around, meeting Lyrassa’s gaze as she smiled back at him. Elyndra hovered nearby, her expression carrying a trace of concern, while Morganna floated a short distance away, facing the opposite direction in silence.
"We win," Atlas said quietly.
Lyrassa nodded in response.
Atlas then looked into the distance, where the massive miniature sun was still raining fireballs across the battlefield. Moments later, fractures of a rift formed again in the air, forcibly pulling the miniature sun back into its hiding place.
"Just how many more times can Edrik use that mini sun?" Atlas muttered.
After a brief pause, he exhaled slowly.
"Let’s take a rest," Atlas said.
