"He’s just like you described. He’s handsome, has a great body, and he’s witty and charming. He’s mature and handles things well, and he’s clearly very capable. You really hit the jackpot finding someone like him!"

Getting her best friend’s approval for Lin Shen made Shen Yun inwardly ecstatic, a smug look spreading across her face.

After finally sending Song Ya off, a seductive smile returned to Shen Yun’s face. She swayed her hips as she walked over to Lin Shen and asked with feigned innocence,
"Shen, you don’t have anything else scheduled, do you? How about we..."
"Actually, I do have something."
Lin Shen glanced at his watch and smiled.
"I have a meeting this afternoon. I’m going to take over a new shop. Aunt Shen, would you like to come with me?"
’Take over a shop?’
Shen Yun blinked her alluring eyes. With her hopes dashed, she couldn’t help but feel a twinge of disappointment.
But she couldn’t very well voice her thoughts, since Lin Shen obviously had to prioritize his work.
Thinking of the bigger picture, Shen Yun gave a soft, alluring smile and pushed her own desires aside for the time being.

The shop saw a constant stream of customers every day.

A dozen or so employees worked together, expertly serving customers while still finding moments to chat amongst themselves.
"Have you heard? A new Shennan Pet Society just opened over by Xu X, and it’s blowing up! Tons of pet bloggers are going there to review it!"
"Really? They must have spent a ton on promotion, right?"
"You bet. I’d say at least a few hundred thousand! They’re even running a grand opening promotion—anyone who takes pictures or videos in the store and posts them on TikTok can get paid based on how many likes they get!"
