Chapter 150: 150-I Want To Taste Those Pussy Lips Again
Theodore:
I was in my room getting ready to leave for a client’s meeting when I heard a familiar voice.
I rushed onto the balcony, but I didn’t see anyone outside.
So I walked out of my room, and from the second floor, I saw Verity.
She was walking toward the back alleyway, and I knew where she was going to end up.
Jenna was right beside her.
I quickly rushed over to catch a glimpse of Verity.
The moment I arrived, I saw how she looked.
Brown looked so good on her.
My heart started beating louder in my chest.
She had a little scarf-like thing hanging around her neck.
Then I had to send Jenna away. I had to.
Because how could I not?
There was a part of me that was still living in the past.
That stranger.
The smell of her sweat, the scent between her legs, the taste of her.
It lingered for too long.
Sometimes, when I closed my eyes, I could still find myself there.
But she was not here.
That night, she didn’t come to my room.
But I did have something that was connected to her, her panties, the pair she had left behind that night.
"So, how do you like this place?" I said to Verity, who cast a brief glance around before nodding.
"I mean, it’s beautiful. It’s really grand. We can hold an event here," she responded casually, looking around as she walked toward the staircase.
"But we’ll have to decorate it differently for the birthday. I don’t want it to have the same feel as the maid ball. Otherwise, it wouldn’t make any difference."
She continued, making me nod.
This was the first time a woman was speaking and I was just silently nodding.
Usually, I would have some input, even if I didn’t know what she was talking about.
I always wanted to be included.
I always wanted to be heard.
I usually wanted things to go my way.
But not with her.
I just couldn’t say anything to her.
All I could do was nod along with her.
In the back of my mind, I hadn’t forgotten about the Oliver thing.
Whatever Oliver had done to her that made her complain to the Moon Goddess about him, I couldn’t stop thinking about it.
"You know, this area could be perfectly—"
As Verity was speaking, I cleared my throat.
"Sorry for interrupting, but you haven’t seen the kitchen yet," I said, pointing toward it.
I felt like scum for doing that.
I had recreated that one incident with almost every woman I had come across.
Some of them had even bought themselves gowns.
Others, I had gifted gowns to.
Then it was always the same.
I made them wear a mask.
The mask was different from the one she’d worn, though.
That original mask was somehow never found.
Even though others had worn the same mask that night, she had done something different to hers.
None of the others could truly imitate her.
I didn’t know what it was about her.
I just couldn’t get her out of my head.
Even when my friends laughed about her weight and everything else, she stayed on my mind.
And now I wanted to lead Verity, the second woman I had become deeply interested in, toward the kitchen.
Part of me wondered if I had made a mistake.
I’d recreated that moment with every other woman, and I’d never felt anything.
Maybe I should have recreated it with someone I was genuinely attracted to.
That someone was Verity.
Verity looked toward the kitchen and nodded.
"Yeah, kitchens are fine. I’m more focused on the balconies. How we’ll dress them up and decorate them so they feel like they’re living and breathing with us."
She didn’t pay any attention to the kitchen.
My heart broke at that moment.
Every time I had taken a woman’s hand and led her toward the kitchen, she had come with me without hesitation.
Not a single one had ever refused.
This was the first time someone had refused to go into the kitchen with me.
"You should take a look at the kitchen. Do you think it’ll be spacious enough for the staff to prepare the food and serve an event here?"
Ignoring her reluctance, I walked to the kitchen myself.
She stayed where she was for a moment, but eventually she followed.
So, technically, I hadn’t lost anything.
She was still coming over.
I stepped inside, but she only peeked in from the doorway.
She glanced around briefly before walking away again.
Now I had to leave the kitchen and follow her.
"Yeah, I think it’s spacious enough," she replied casually.
She was so reluctant, so different from every other woman.
And I was so disappointed.
Not in her, but in myself.
The one woman whose attention I wanted was completely avoiding me.
"Um, I didn’t know you’d be here."
I heard a voice join us.
Jaguar walked in carrying a notepad.
"I was speaking to Grandmother, and she told me you were going to prepare the event here," he said casually.
Of course, he wasn’t affected by her beauty.
I was the one going crazy.
Sometimes I envied my brothers.
They had no idea what it felt like to be attracted to Verity and not have her.
"Yeah, I think it’s a good place. We can utilize it," Verity responded the same way she had responded to me.
There was no interest in her for either of us.
"So, how are your wounds, Verity?" Jaguar asked.
My ears perked up too.
I should have asked that.
My head had been so full of nasty thoughts that I had completely forgotten about something that truly mattered, her well-being.
"I’m fine," Verity responded, giving him a weak smile.
Jaguar cleared his throat.
"That’s a beautiful scarf around your neck."
The way he asked, and the way Verity immediately adjusted the scarf around her neck, made it feel like there was more to it.
"Yeah, thank you," Verity said.
"Can I see it?" Jaguar insisted.
I had no clue my brother was interested in women’s clothing.
So what was he actually trying to do?
"Oh, I’ve actually tied it in a way that if I take it off, I won’t be able to fix it again."
The excuse Verity gave was extremely poor.
It was just a scarf.
It wasn’t some mathematical equation that needed solving.
Now even I wanted to know why she was wearing that scarf.
