Chapter 177: 177. The enemy of my enemy

He kissed her neck and shiver tackled down her back, her pausing for a moment. She smiled and then continued. He rubbed her stomach and she paused again. "Keep doing that and we won’t have anything to eat."

He chuckled at her little threat. "I don’t mind that, but I won’t want to starve you, so I’ll stop." He said but he continued holding her.

"You haven’t let go yet,"

"Let me hold you a bit longer." He said holding a bit firmer than before. He wanted to cherish this month. To engrave it in his mind because he knows that once they were out of this penthouse, their little paradise would be over. He already knew what was happening outside the walls of the penthouse but he hasn’t told her just yet. He wanted her to try o be as happy as she as she was right and he wanted to see her like this for as long as possible.

"Okay, but don’t distract me."

"Do you think it’s a good idea to have them cause a revolt?" Someone asked Sebastian. Right now they were neither in the Shadow Moon Pack nor in the Vampire territory. They were currently far from either of those places surrounded by trees. "Those are your siblings right there."

"It does not matter," He stated and gritted his teeth. There did do anything when he was expelled from the pack.

Any normal person would have understood that the only reason they did not react was because they had disrespected the Alpha and even challenges his power but he refused to think that way and only saw the fact that they did nothing to help him.

"They were willing to do it, they were but forced into doing anything." He said with an I don’t care attitude that left the other shifter speechless.

"What about the beta?" the man asked and Sebastian scowled at the mention of Collins.

"He is not involved in this and would prefer it that way." He replacement ed and the man shook his head. He did but comment though it was a shame that a warrior who was still fit unlike the one standing in front of him with a missing limb. Either way, as long he was useful he wouldn’t mind.

"It’s a shame though, he would have been a useful asset." He said dryly.

"He is content with this life." Replied Sebastian.

"And you are not." He said with a nod of his head. "Anyway, it a nice doing business with you, Gamma Sebastian," he said, calling him that to tick him off as he began walking away.

Sebastian balled his fist to hold back his anger. "You haven’t told me what your problem is with the Lycan," Sebastian said making him pause. He smirked. He was not the only one of them two to be poked in all the wrong places.

"Do not ask questions which answers you wouldn’t want to know." He said turning t face Sebastian with a cold expression.

"I do what to know," Sebastian said walking closer to him. "You know why I am against him, I should know your reason too, if we are to work together, I should know the reason for your actions too. Besides, you still have told me your name. The only thing I know is that we share the same amount o hatred for that damned lycan." He stopped two steps away form as they stared at each. He stared down at Sebastian because was a head taller l. While Sebastian had to strain his head a bit to meet his gaze.

He smirked and then turned around and started walking away. "You will know in due time, Gamma Sebastian."

"Don’t you dare think of double-crossing me," He yell through gritted teeth. He could not trust this man but he was sure of the man’s anger and hatred toward the Alpha Supreme. The saying ’the enemy of my enemy is my friend’ was what made him make the deal with this man.

He wanted someone who shared the same feeling as him t work and collectively take down that Lycan, called Darren McCain. Collins won’t have perfect but the dude just left him halfway and how he was not even interested in doing anything about the man who shaled them before their pack.

"If there is anyone among the two of us to betray, that would be you, don’t you think?" They stopped and asked. "You have betrayed your pack and now, you are even betraying the vampires who shelter you," he stated and Sebastian immediately realize that he was the one to mince his words. "I will leave now and you should do the same before you discovered missing." He walked away towards his car which was parked far away from where he was.

Sebastian balled his only fist and stomped away in anger. Walking as if the very of which he walked had wronged him. The man had won this time because he knew nothing about whole the man knew everything about him. He had been searching for someone strong enough, someone who hated Darren as much as he did to help him exert his revenge despite his conversation with Collins.

He knew that just like every other individual in power, Darren must have made many enemies along the way. On his path to taking over as the Supreme Alpha. He finally found whose back story he was up known but he could see the anger and hate in his eyes whenever the Darren Darren or Supremm Alpha was mentioned. But he was completely untrustworthy. He could not even count on him not to stab his back when he was looking. But he was right about one thing if he gets the opportunity to betray and get rid of him f he poses any threat to him, he would do it.

He walked away and ran through the trees. This was one of the moments he kissed having complete limbs. He could have shifted and run as fast as he could to cover up the ground quicker. This also gave him another reason to hate Darren even more.

He arrived at the vampire territory several minutes later and found Collins leaning against a tree with his arms and legs crossed, staring at him without saying a word.

"I went out to release some steam," He said even without being asked. Collins nodded but still did not speak. "How long have you been here?" The asked because the look on Collons face told him that the shifter did not believe a thing he said.

"Since you went release some steam," Collins replied in a nonchalant tone. Sebastian frowned.

"You followed me." He said in annoyance. His eyes turning putchbkack as he glared at him. But to all of his threatening feature and annoyance, Collins remain still and relaxed like the half shifted beast was not looking on just direction at all.

"I do tbhave the time and energy to follow around, Sebastian. I just want yountonknke that you should keep me out of whatever you went out there to do and don’t drag me down with you." Calling said and pushed himself away from the tree. Return inside before your scent disappears from the premises and they start looking for you."

Collins walked away and Sebastian watched jus retreating back and calmed down. No matter what, Collins wouldn’t sell him out. He was only no longer interested on their initial plan but e was not a traitor or a back stabber. Slowly, he calmed down and followed his lead, walking inside and acting like he had been there the whole time.

Inside he walked passed the other rogues and vampires as they turned to look at him and then minding their own business without botherngnt make small talks with him.

"Sebastian," He halted upon hearing jus name and the voice of the vampire captain, Leroy. "Lord Dmitri would like to have a word with you and Collins."

Slowly, Sebastain turned around and looked at the vampire wj was giving him orders. "Why would the Lord want to meet with little old us?" He asked. He was tenesd and wondered if he had been found out. He did but notice any voices around bytbje had forgotten to think and look fur the watches that were working with the vampires.

"You will know when you get there," Leroy said Maj walked away. Pausing right beside him, he said, "Don make him wait, he us in a bad mood already and you don’t want face him when he is in a worse mood than he already is."

Collins blinked in disbelief. Was the arrogant captain giving him heads up? "Alright." he said went in the direction where Collins had disappeared. He had heard rumors of the lord’s abilities and he did not want to experience it. It was best he stood and watched as someone else did and he took note.
