Chapter 2319: Chapter 2319: Calm Winds, Beautiful Moon, and Serene Times

A meal that Jasmine Yale found very satisfying.

After the meal, she and Sylvan Cheney packed up the things in the house.

"Miss Yale, if there’s anything you need, just call me. I can come over anytime," Butler Santana reminded.

"Alright, I’ll send the address to your phone," Jasmine Yale replied.

There wasn’t much of their stuff, and once packed up, they had to leave this place.

Butler Santana accompanied them downstairs, watching Jasmine Yale and Sylvan Cheney with reluctance.

The cool moonlight spilled across, coating everything with a layer of hazy and soft glow.

As Sylvan Cheney went to the car, Jasmine Yale held Butler Santana for a secret chat, glancing at Sylvan Cheney from time to time.

Butler Santana also wanted to take a few more glances at Mr. Cheney, but alas, they had to return home.

However, as long as they’re still around, there will be plenty of chances in the future.

"Miss Yale, be sure to let me know before you have the baby. I’ll be there with you."

"I will."

"Miss Yale, Mr. Cheney has truly changed, changed a lot, but the only thing unchanged is the look in his eyes when he sees you, just like before. He likes you, really likes you," Butler Santana sighed. "The two of you should be good together. Bring the little young master over in the future too, he’s in Lonton, missing his dad."

"I plan to, but for now it’s inconvenient for Little Chale to be with us. He might be better off with his master grandpa."

"What are you two talking about?" Sylvan Cheney finished packing the trunk, taking off his jacket to drape it over Jasmine Yale. "It’s time to go home."

Under the streetlight, he looked down at Jasmine Yale, his hands resting on her shoulders, with an unwavering tenderness in his eyes.

"Well then, Butler Santana, we’ll be off now. See you next time," Jasmine Yale said with a smile.

"Alright, go home," Butler Santana didn’t hold them back any longer.

Sylvan Cheney put his arms around Jasmine Yale, letting her sit properly in the passenger seat, and buckled her seatbelt for her.

The time wasn’t too late.

It was one of the most bustling moments in the streets and alleys.

The streets were adorned with lights, and the youthful years were at their best.

The car weaved through the streets of the city center, sometimes Jasmine Yale would look out the window.

The street was bustling with people, with the traffic lights changing in different colors.

The wind was calm, the moon was beautiful, and the time felt tranquil.

The car was warm inside, like their own little world.

Jasmine Yale tugged on his jacket, occasionally chatting with him, "Why do you think it’s so easy for me to forgive you, so spineless?"

She seemed to be complaining to him, yet it was like talking to herself.

"Because...you love me?"

Jasmine Yale fell silent.

Yes, he hit the nail on the head.

"I won’t let you down," he said solemnly.

"I don’t want promises, I want actions," she replied softly, because she had heard too many promises from him, some kept, some never fulfilled.

"Okay."

Under the lights, his cold, handsome face appeared even more well-defined, carrying a sense of coolness and seriousness.

On the way, Jasmine Yale felt drowsy, yawned, and fell asleep resting her head on her hand.

Sylvan Cheney drove steadily, deepening her sleepiness.

By the time the car reached the parking garage of their community, she was still asleep.

Sylvan Cheney simply parked the car, leaving her undisturbed, and turned on the car heater, letting her comfortably continue her nap.

His phone showed several missed calls, and Sylvan Cheney checked through them.

There were some from Erin Janus.

Probably because he hadn’t answered, Erin Janus sent a text questioning: "Evan, where are you? Can we meet?"

"Evan, are you coming to the office tomorrow?"
