Chapter 2311: Chapter 2311: A Woman’s Heart Is Hard to Fathom

In the afternoon, Sylvan Cheney went out for a while.

When Jasmine Yale woke up, she didn’t see him. She lazily rubbed her eyes and called his name.

No one responded, so she got up and called him on the phone.

"President..." she mumbled drowsily.

"Awake? I’ll be back soon."

"Where are you? I woke up and didn’t see you, thought you ran away."

"Where could I run to? Went out to handle some things."

"Then I’ll wait for you. We agreed you’d come home with me."

"Alright, wait for me."

Jasmine hung up, excitedly, and then happily called Butler Santana.

"Butler Santana!" She sounded like a little kid, sitting in bed, holding her phone.

"Oh? Miss Yale."

"I’m planning to go home with Evan to get some things later. Can you help me pack? I might be moving in with him."

"What?" Butler Santana was taken aback, "You two are moving in together? Cohabiting? Can he take care of you?"

"He’s alright, he can cook, and he listens to me."

"Weren’t you two fighting a while ago? I remember you didn’t go out with him for quite a while."

"He did upset me, but I’m giving him another chance." Jasmine still sounded very cheerful.

"Miss Yale, have you thought this through? Are you serious about accepting a new boyfriend?" Butler Santana spoke gently, but in her heart, she was reluctant for Jasmine to move in.

"I’ll bring him home later, Butler Santana, whatever you see afterward, don’t be surprised. I’ll explain everything to you, don’t be surprised."

Butler Santana was puzzled; Jasmine’s words left her quite confused. She simply complied: "Are you bringing him back? Then I’ll tidy up the house."

"He doesn’t mind, it’s fine, his own apartment is a mess anyway!"

Butler Santana heard Jasmine’s joyful voice and felt she really liked Evan. The heart of a woman is hard to understand.

"Alright, Butler Santana, we’re settled then. We can go back later."

"Alright, alright."

Butler Santana felt she couldn’t interject. Previously, she’d always thought of inspecting Jasmine’s new boyfriend.

Now she felt, even if she did, it wouldn’t change any of Jasmine’s thoughts.

Jasmine got out of bed, changed clothes, and freshened up.

While she was washing her face, the door sounded.

Sylvan Cheney pushed the door open and entered.

"Awake? I bought flowers. See if you like them."

"Did you really buy them?" Jasmine peeked out, "They’re beautiful."

"Glad you like them." Sylvan placed the flowers on the coffee table in the living room, "First time visiting your home, brought gifts for your aunt. You said you care a lot about her."

"Yeah, she’s taken care of me for a long time." Jasmine continued to comb her hair while looking at Sylvan, "If my aunt doesn’t agree with us moving in together, I won’t go back with you."

"..."

"You better be prepared mentally." Jasmine said deliberately.

"I’ll try my best to convince her, don’t worry. She’s likely worried I won’t take good care of you, but I can assure her."

Sylvan put down things and took the comb from her hand: "I’ll help you comb your hair."

After combing, he used a hair tie to give her a small ponytail.

"Put your coat on." He took her shawl from the hanger.

Jasmine obediently dressed and then held his arm, smiling as she looked up, "Feels like going home for the New Year."
