Chapter 512: Six Thousand Years Later
"Lord Zhen." A voice called and Zhen Yuan turned to see Yang Shi.
"How..." He started but before he could say more, Shen Xu appeared and threw himself into his arms.
"Six thousand years felt like six million years." He complained, nuzzling his head against Zhen Yuan’s chest.
"I missed you too." The man said and Yang Shi couldn’t help but roll his eyes.
"It was only six thousand years." He said but Shen Xu snorted.
"You will understand when you find a taoist partner." The double said.
Yang Shi liked Feng Xue when he first met her.
However, he later realised that the feelings were superficial and couldn’t compare to what his master and lord Zhen had.
Most importantly, although she didn’t want to admit it, Feng Xue still cared about Xuanyuan Han.
At times, Feng Xue would fall into thought and her brows would crease as if she was trying to untangle an impossible problem.
When asked about it, she would avoid the matter or brush it off with a flimsy excuse.
However, Yang Shi knew that Feng Xue was stuck on her relationship with Xuanyuan Han and couldn’t figure out why things had turned so tragic.

’Feng Xue is a phoenix and doesn’t want to love or get involved with a human cultivator but some things can’t be avoided just because she wants to.’ He thought, his eyes brimming with a wisdom that was previously absent.
While they were talking, the others arrived and Shen Xu noticed that everyone looked wiser and more composed.
’It seems that we all gained something.’ He thought but didn’t mention it.
"Let’s leave." He said and led everyone out of the temple of chants.
After exiting the secret realm, the group boarded a ship and headed east.
"Where are we going?" Xuanyuan Xing asked but Shen Xu shrugged.
"Nowhere in particular." The double said.
At the same time, he took out his communication jade and messaged Wu Ziyan.
Soon after, he received a message and sighed in relief.
"All our goods sold well." He said, looking at Zhen Yuan with a happy face
Zhen Yuan and Shen Xu originally planned to attend the auction.
However, they had adequate resources and neither had a compelling urge to go.
Considering this, they sensed that the auction wouldn’t have suitable or destined treasures so they decided to skip it and instead spend more time in the temple of chants.
"We will spend ten thousand years in the Xuanwu secret realm and may ascend soon after exiting. Is there anything that you need to prepare?" Shen Xu asked, looking at the surrounding people.
"Food and wine." Yang Shi immediately answered.
"Nectar and honey." Yin Shi said.
"Spirit stones." Dongfang Jing answered and Shen Xu turned to look at him.
"The Xuanwu token can teleport ten people. Have you sold all the places?" He asked and Dongfang Jing shook his head before speaking.
"There are still two places." He said.
"Some quotas were sold in the most recent Myriad Treasures Pavillion auction for not less than ten billion high grade spirit stones each." The double relayed the information that he had just received from Wu Ziyan.
"You can use the next few hundred years to sell the remaining two places." He advised and Dongfang Jing nodded.
"That’s my plan." He said.
Three hundred years passed in the blink of an eye.
During that time, Dongfang Jing sold two quotas for fifty billion spirit stones.
Additionally, the group bought everything that they needed including monster meat, spiritual fruits, spiritual honey, and spirit grasses among others.
When the preparations were done, they went to the Eastern Blue Ocean and began hunting sea beasts while searching for a safe island to settle down.
"Is it really okay to cross the ascension tribulation in the Eastern Blue Ocean?" Xuanyuan Yue asked with a doubtful expression.
After all, the Eastern Blue ocean not only had sea beasts but also space cracks and other dangers.

"It’s Dongfang Jing and Chen Yi." Zhen Yuan said, looking at Shen Xu.
"I wonder what they want." The double said and waved his hand to release the formations.
A moment later, the Dongfang couple entered the courtyard and found the two in the sitting room.
"Is something wrong?" Shen Xu asked.
However, Dongfang Jing and Chen Yi didn’t immediately speak.
Instead, they exchanged a resolute glance and nodded before starting.
"Chen Yi and I have discussed this matter for several thousand years." Dongfang Jing started and Shen Xu couldn’t help but be curious.
After all, cultivators were usually decisive and wouldn’t take several thousand years to decide something.
"What’s on your mind?" Shen Xu asked.
"We are friends but even brothers have to settle accounts. Although we don’t want to take advantage of you, the favours we owe you have already become an insurmountable amount." Dongfang Jing said with a solemn face.

However, repaying these favours was easier said than done especially because his and Chen Yi’s luck was not as good as the opponent’s.
After thinking about it, Dongfang Jing and Chen Yi felt that there was only one way to repay the favours.
