Chen Feng hadn’t done any of these things with Lin Mengyao.
Thinking about it, it was because Chen Feng had always been too busy and simply had no time to spend with Lin Mengyao.

This night was destined to be a romantic one. Lin Mengyao leaned against Chen Feng’s shoulder, sitting on the beach watching the night view. To Lin Mengyao, she didn’t ask for great wealth or high status. She didn’t demand that her boyfriend be rich enough to rival a nation or be some incredibly powerful man. She only asked that things could be like they were now, that Chen Feng could always stay by her side, quietly listening to her pour her heart out—that was enough.
This was her happiest moment, and also the moment she had long been looking forward to. At this moment, she was truly very happy, very content!
The night gradually deepened.
The temperature by the sea suddenly dropped.

The two of them moved from the beach straight into the tent.
"Yaoyao, are you cold?"
Chen Feng looked at Lin Mengyao and asked with concern.

"I’m sorry, Yaoyao. I really spent too little time with you before. From now on, no matter what, I’ll definitely try my best to free up lots of time to be with you!"
Chen Feng looked at her with an apologetic expression.
"It’s okay, you have your own things to take care of. After all, the Chen Family is such a big clan. As the Family Head, of course you have to put in more energy and time!"
Lin Mengyao shook her head, speaking with complete understanding.
"As long as you can understand me, that’s good. But going forward, I’ll hand more of the Chen Family’s affairs to the people under me, and whatever free time I get, I’ll try my best to spend it with you. Whatever you want to do, you can tell me, and I’ll go with you!"
Chen Feng said with a smile.
"Really? You’re not allowed to lie to me. So that means in the future, whatever I want to do with you, I can tell you?"

"Of course, including that kind of thing!"
Chen Feng nodded, grinning mischievously as he spoke.

"What did I do? I just said whatever you want to do, I can go with you, including going shopping together. I can陪 you with that too!"
Chen Feng said with a playful grin.
"Shopping? That ’thing’ you were talking about was shopping?"
Lin Mengyao froze for a moment, asking with a shocked expression.
"Yeah, otherwise what did you think it was? Don’t tell me your mind went somewhere dirty? In that case, you’d better go stand in the corner and reflect!"
Chen Feng said with a bad smile.
"You... you’re awful!"
Lin Mengyao raised her little pink fist and lightly punched Chen Feng’s chest, pouting coquettishly, "You totally set me up on purpose, didn’t you? You... you bad man!"
"How did I set you up? I really was talking about going shopping. You’re the one whose mind went crooked, okay? Besides, we already agreed that we’d only do that kind of thing on our wedding night. That’s our promise. How could I break our promise?"
Chen Feng’s lips curled slightly as he spoke with a playful look.
"But you deliberately tricked me. Just now you obviously led me down that path. If you meant shopping, you could’ve just said shopping. Why say ’that thing’? I think you obviously did it on purpose!"
Lin Mengyao pouted, her face full of shy complaint.
"Nooo, I really was talking about going shopping with you!"
Chen Feng shrugged, looking all innocent.

Lin Mengyao rolled her eyes at Chen Feng, her face flushed as she spoke.

Chen Feng grinned as he said this.

Lin Mengyao gave him another eye roll.
"Right here—me. I’m standing right in front of you. That’s right, you just happened to run into this rare good man: me!"
Chen Feng said with a wide smile.
"Wow, your skin is really thick. You’re actually praising yourself!"
Lin Mengyao puffed out her cheeks, speaking in mock annoyance.
Her adorable expression stunned Chen Feng for a second. Then he reached out and pulled Lin Mengyao firmly into his arms.
Startled by his sudden move, Lin Mengyao cried out, "Hey... what are you doing!"
"We’ve already been together for so long, but it seems like you still haven’t kissed me."
Chen Feng looked at Lin Mengyao with deep affection, smiling as he spoke.
"Nope, not allowed. Unless I want to kiss you, you can’t kiss me first. Otherwise I’ll tell my sister!"
Lin Mengyao wagged her index finger at him, giggling as she spoke.
"Then go ahead and tell your sister. I’m not scared anyway. We’re legal now!"
Chen Feng flashed a grin, and as soon as he finished speaking, he lowered his head and kissed Lin Mengyao...
